Cupid Cards

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

This morning we woke up to brilliant sunshine but it's going to be short lived as we have snow coming this afternoon. I don't think it will amount to much except on the grass.

Last week one day I was at my stamp table playing around with some of my Valentine's Day stash.
I pulled out some non Stampin Up paper and created a pack of cards for my card rack.

The retired Melon Mambo ribbon that I used on these was not long enough for me to get 5 little bows from and I really wanted to use up what was left in my ribbon bag of scraps.
Each sentiment panel also has a clear epoxy heart on it. The last picture you can see it.
The sentiment is from a retired Stampin Up set from a few years ago. I love the font!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sending Love (retired)
Ink: Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Whisper White, The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Heart Epoxy Droplets, Melon Mambo Sheer Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It felt good to create something just for fun!

Heart Doily Card

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Just a quick card to share today that I whipped up for Valentines Day!
I was inspired by a card that was made by Carol Longacre as she used a pretty foil heart doily!
I knew I had a bunch of those paper doilies so I went in search of them and found these pink colored ones.

I also found some pieces from an old Paper Pumpkin Kit that I used.
I like when everything matches!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sending Love (sentiment)
Ink: Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Whisper White, DSP from PP Kit
Accessories: Lots to Love Frameluts (gold heart), Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Paper Heart Doily, Twine from PP Kit, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It felt good using up some of those Paper Doilies!

Yummy Treats

Hello again!

Yup, this is my second post of today!
Yesterday I hurt my back...first in a while that I had a flare up!
I took a muscle relaxer and went to bed early last night. Today I feel much better but because of the muscle relaxer my butt is dragging! So I decided to take it easy today but I also wanted to whip up a quick treat for Kelsey, Ryan & Shawn to put out on the table for our Valentines Day supper.

Each bag has a bunch of candy and a couple bucks in for them to spend on themselves!
With Love, from Mom on Valentines Day!

I wish you all a sweet day with your loved ones!

Happy Valentines Day!

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Valentines Day has finally arrived!
Today I have a few cards to share that I whipped up using the Sending Love Bundle.
The entire Sending Love Suite is fantastic!
Probably one of my favorite Valentines Day sets yet!

These all have the same layout but I used a different sheet of the Sending Love DSP Stack on them. These were simple & quick to make because the heart edgelit die just makes it so much easier and packs quite a punch on these cards! Love, love, love!

Happy Valentines Day Cards:

Stamps: Sending Love Bundle
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White, Sending Love DSP Stack
Accessories: Love Notes Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Real Red 1/8 Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Valentine's Day Is Coming....

Hello & Happy Saturday!

The last few days here in PA have been very cold! Today it's to get into the 50's and hopefully will melt what little bit of snow we have. Last night our temps bottomed out around 15 degrees. Burrrr! I'm SO ready for those 50's today!

Since it's been too cold to even stick your nose out the door....I spent some time at my stamp table. Here is a card I whipped up using the patterned paper as my starting point.

Happy Valentine's Day Card:

Stamps: Sending Love Bundle
Ink: Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Melon Mambo, Whisper White, The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)
Accessories: Love Notes Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Sm Heart Rhinestone, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Don't ya just love those heart shape diecuts along the edge of the card?
Such a neat feature in this pack of Framelits!

Next is my M&M Sticks that I make for every holiday.
I have one customer who always buys them up!

A Valentine Card & Treat

Hello & Happy Thursday!

How many of you woke up to snow this morning?
Yea, it's crazy after a few days of 50's & 60's that today we have very cold temps and snow! I was really hoping we'd get thru winter without any this year.
Yesterday we had a high temperature of 64 and it was so nice! I had windows open to air out the house and the doggies just loved playing in the yard!
My hubby is working from home due to the weather and that's just fine with me!

So today I have a card and a yummy candy treat to share!
These were fun to create!

I was asked to create this card for a child so I dug thru my stamps and pulled out my Animal Valentines stamp set from early 2000. I've used this set many of times for Valentines for my kids when they were little. I used the dog for this one and some retired Loves Me DSP. I made my card a Gatefold type and used the ribbon to keep it closed.

Happy Valentines Day Card:

Stamp: Animal Valentines (retired), sentiment from Toucan my Love (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Close to Cocoa, Regal Rose, Whisper White, Loves Me DSP
Accessories: Stitched Framelits, Teal Taffeta Ribbon, Clear Wink of Stella, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It feels good to use up some of my older stash!

************

My sweet treat is a pouch that is filled with Dove Milk Chocolate Hearts. There are 4 hearts in each pouch. I made these for Halloween and filled them with Kit Kat bars. You can see them here.

These measure 2 X 11 scored at 5 & 6 and then used the Scallop Tag Topper Punch to punch both ends. I used a small piece of 2 sided tape to adhere the cello bag inside then tied a piece of ribbon thru the ends to hold the pouch together. I cut my pouches out of Melon Mambo cardstock then added patterned paper that I think came from Hobby Lobby last year. My sentiment panel was cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits (LOVE THESE!). My sentiment comes from All Year Cheer 3 that is retired too. The row of hearts is from the Sending Love Bundle.
The Dove Chocolates are packed in a 2 X 8 SU Cello Bag that I cut at 5 to fit in my pouches.

I enjoy making these pouches!

Valentines Day Pouches:

Stamps: All Year Cheer 3, Sending Love Bundle
Ink: Basic Black Archival, Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Whisper White, The Paper Studio DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Scallop Tag Topper Punch, 2 X 8 Cello Bags, Rhinestones, Various Melon Mambo Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Back to Crafting....

Hello & Happy Friday!

Finally found my way back to my stamp table.
It was a bit slow at first but once I got started I was on a roll.
11 days till Valentine's Day....I have alot to catch up on!

My first card of the season...

I also used the SCS Sketch Challenge from Wednesday.

It's tough getting back into the swing of things after a 6 or 7 week break so that's why I used a sketch to help get me started. I love the colored hearts on this dsp! Makes it very colorful, don't ya think?

Happy Valentine's Day Card:

Stamps: Sending Love Bundle (sentiment)
Ink: Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, The Paper Studio DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Melon Mambo Taffeta Ribbon, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I wanted to share this picture since yesterday was Groundhog Day...

I'm sure that's what all our husbands must be thinking! LOL

Speaking of husbands....mine is doing pretty good!
His drain came out Monday afternoon and he is happy about that.
Still taking things one day at a time.

That is all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
