Merry Monday

 Hello & Happy Monday, Friends!

Today things are back to normal since the snow is over and hubby is back to work.

We got maybe 9 inches of snow that was mixed with sleet. It's to stay very cold atleast for the next week so I do not see much melting taking place. I spent yesterday at my stamp table for a few hours. I made a variety of cards. 

I have a pretty Christmas card to share today! I know Christmas was just 4 weeks ago but it's time to start preparing for Christmas 2026. This is my 1st holiday card of the year!

Ink: Real Red

Cardstock: Real Red, Basic Beige, Patterned Paper from Michael's

Accessories: Greetings of the Season Dies (retired Online Exclusives 2024), Red Sparkly Ribbon (stash), Red Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I could not resist this pretty paper at Michael's for making some holiday cards! 

I love the pops of red foil in it!

Merry Monday Challenge Week #95

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend! 

Since it's Monday that means it's time for another challenge from over at Merry Mondays! 

So grab some supplies and play along with us! 

Here we go!

I just loved the little Scottie dog that was in the inspiration picture but I didn't have a Scottie dog stamp. I went thru my box of stamped images and found a few of these embossed reindeer and pulled them out. My reindeer is from an old retired SU set called Reindeer Print that I borrowed from Deb. I embossed my image with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder. I went with a monochromatic look of white & Cherry Cobbler and I like the crisp look of it! My white panel under the reindeer is embossed with the Woodgrain EF from SU. I used some Cherry Cobbler Chevron ribbon and my sentiment panel was cut out with Circle Nestibilities and popped up with a dimensional. I added a red rhinestone and called it done. Another nice Christmas card done for my pile!

Merry Monday Challenge Week #62

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope all the Mom's out there had a wonderful day with their families!

I spent Saturday with my Mom for a bit. Then on Mother's Day she had plans to go to my younger brother's for a big dinner so i'm sure she had a nice day!

My day was nice! I spent time with all 3 of my kiddo's, the 2 grandpuppies, son in law and my little fur baby, Gigi. Shawn made some burgers on the grill but it was a tad too chilly to sit outside on our new picnic table. It was a gift to Shawn & myself for his birthday & mother's day. We will get lots of use out of it, i'm sure!

So, since it's Monday again, that means it's time for another sketch from Lesley from over at Always Playing With Paper. She has some of the most awesome sketches around!

I loved this sketch the first time I seen it! I had some of these cute images in my Image Box from a few years back. They were stamped in Always Artichoke and I went & grabbed some paper to match. I added some glue & glitter to my image to resemble winter. When I made this card I had just found out the new color line up for Stampin Up and seen that Soft Sky was coming back as a Subtles color! I have always loved this color! My card base is Soft Sky and the next layer is Always Artichoke with my Wintergreen DSP. I added some Soft Sky ribbon & pearls to finish my card and I just love it! I will be making a pack of these for my craft show! :)
