A Beautiful Season

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

It's football day so that is where we are....watching the game in the family room with the Christmas lights on & a fire in the fireplace. I love this time of year!
I wanted to update my blog early this morning as I usually do but I slept in after staying up late to watch the new Hallmark movie last night. Then once I was up Shawn wanted to run out to a store, so here I am now. LOL Better late than never, right?

This beautiful card was made with a very old Stampin Up! set called A Beautiful Season from 2003. I recently borrowed it from my friend, Deb, to make this card for Audrey. Every holiday season she requests a cardinal card for a good friend of hers that loves cardinals. I think I have used every Stampin Up! set that has a cardinal in so I went looking for something different and Deb was happy to help a girl out!

Card Details:

Stamps: A Beautiful Season (retired), Stars At Night (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Reindeer Days DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Gold Trim, Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope to play with this set a bit more before I give it back to Deb. Something about the older sets just make the cards more special.

That's all for today!

Stamp Day w/ Friends Card # 4

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I have card # 4 from Saturday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together.
It's a cutie!

My friend, Deb that comes to my Stamp Day events loved the Beary Cute Memories & More pack this year so I thought she'd love this card using the Beary Christmas DSP.
I picked this print so that it would show off lots of those adorable polar bears! She loved it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Stars At Night
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Basic White, Beary Christmas DSP
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Adhesive Backed Snowflakes (Online Exclusives), Adhesive Backed Glitter Sequins, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It was another quick & easy card by letting that cute paper do all the work!

Christmas Classics Truffle Box

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

A rainy, dreary, cold morning here in PA but we need the rain!
I am headed to my stamp table today. I am still working on Audrey's card order. Yesterday I left my hands rest but today I really need to get moving on them. Last evening Shawn & I watched a movie on the Hallmark Channel that we missed last week called A Biltmore Christmas. It was really good! The Biltmore is an actual place in Asheville, North Carolina and they say it is gorgeous to see during the Christmas season.

Today I am sharing a fun & easy treat box that holds 4 Lindor Truffles.
I used a variety of things on this box...

Project Details:

Stamps: Stars At Night (sentiment), Christmas Classics
Ink: Old Olive, Real Red, Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Old Olive, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper, Joy of Christmas DSP
Accessories: Stitched So Sweetly Dies (retired), Christmas Classics Dies, Vanilla/Gold Satin Ribbon, Gold Metallic Dots, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Here is the link to Marisa's video tutorial to make this box.

I bought a big bag of these truffles at Sam's Club and using 4 in this nice sized box was a great way to use them up. I am not sure where the box directions came from. Once I get to my stamp table I will look and update you here incase your interested in making some. Very pleased with these!!

Stars At Night Set

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

It's the 1st of December and it's crunch time for me!
I have one week to wrap my Christmas cards & treats for Audrey and I am working as hard as I my hands will allow. Yesterday I did have a break since Shawn had an electrician come and put a 220 electric line in the kitchen for a new stove. Now that the electrical part is done we just have to wait on the stove to arrive!

So, today I am back to my stamp table but before I head there I want to share a set of cards that I made using the Stars At Night Bundle. What a beautiful set that is part of the O Holy Night suite.

Card Details:

Stamps: Stars At Night
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, Gold Foil Paper, Shining Brightly DSP
Accessories: Stars At Night Dies, Stars At Night Hybrid Embossing Folder, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The pretty gold foil star is the only thing that is embossed and popped up with Dimensionals. I just love that star!
