Happy Belated Birthday

 Happy Tuesday, Friends!

It's another day of soaring temps & high humidity here in PA and most of the east coast for that matter! Last evening we went out for a walk right before the sun went down which wasn't too bad. Today I have a belated birthday card to show you. I already have several belated birthday cards on my card rack so this one will go into the bin. I used the Floral Wishes DSP which I absolutely love!

Card Details:

Stamps: Something Fancy (retired)
Ink: Old Olive
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Basic White, Old Olive, Floral Wishes DSP
Accessories: Something Fancy Dies (retired), Distressed Tiles 3D EF, Low Profile Gold Dots, Daffodil Delight Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Again, I just used a bunch of scraps from the pack of Floral Wishes DSP and made it work!
I just love this pack of DSP! It's so pretty!

Beautifully Happy Belated Birthday

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Another snow day is on tap here in the Northeast. I'm over the very cold temps & snow this season and anxiously awaiting spring's arrival in a few weeks!
Today I have a pretty springy card to share that I made with a retired SaleABRation set from 2023. This set has never seen ink. I was looking thru some old sets the other day and came across it so I decided to lay it on my table to use. This is for a Belated Birthday...

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautifully Happy (retired-SAB 23), Something Fancy
Ink: Memento Black, Bermuda Bay (retired), Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay (retired), Pool Party, Basic White, Dandy Designs DSP (retired SAB 23)
Accessories: Dashing Designs 3D EF, Countryside Corners Dies, Something Fancy Dies, Pool Party Ribbon (retired), Pool Party Shimmer Gems (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My pieces of DSP were just scraps that were left from another projects that I trimmed the rough edges off and placed on my Basic White embossed panel to give the card some interest. I love the finished project and have added this to my card rack For Sale.

Retiring Day #19

 Happy Easter, Everyone!

Today I am going to make this a quick post since we are cooking dinner today!

It is day #19 of sharing a card with a retiring Stampin Up! set.
The set I used is the Happiest of Birthdays on page 66 of the Stampin Up Annual Catalog.

The Happiest of Birthdays set is one that I loved and used many times.
I like the big bold sayings in it,
I paired it here with the Hippo & Friends Dies & the Pansy Petals DSP which both are leaving us too!

Card Details:

Stamps: Happiest of Birthdays
Ink: Polished Pink
Cardstock: Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Pansy Petals DSP
Accessories: Hippo & Friends Dies, Pansy Dies, Polished Pink Ribbon, In Color Jewels, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This one is headed to my card rack since my Belated Birthday spot is empty!

Retiring Day #14

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today is day #14 of sharing another card made with a retiring Stampin Up! set.
I am using the Turtle & Friends bundle on page 56 of the annual catalog.
It was the first set I got when the new catty came out last year!

I am floored this one is retiring as well since it was backordered for a long time.
It's such a fun set and has a coordinating Turtle Builder Punch.

Card Details:

Stamps: Turtle & Friends
Ink: Just Jade, Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral
Cardstock: Just Jade, Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral, Basic White, In Symmetry DSP
Accessories: Turtle Builder Punch, Greenery EF, Circle Layering Framelits, Just Jade/Gold Ribbon, Gold Gilded Gems, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Of all the cards I made so far for my retiring stamp set series, Kelsey says she really loves this one! I may have to make another one for her birthday next month!

Retiring Stamp Day #5

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

Happy April 1st, too!
The weekend is finally upon us!
Do you have any fun plans?
Not much happening here at the Aungst Pad and with gas prices thru the roof we do not go out running around like we use too! We filled the truck up last week...$98!!! Ouch!

Today is day #5 of sharing a project made with a Stampin Up! stamp set that is retiring.
I am using the Measure of Love set from page 32 of the current Stampin Up! catalog.
I ordered this set a few months ago to do a Stamp A Stack project and never followed thru with it. This is the first time I used it.

This is a fun set to color and has some nice sayings in it!
I must have stamped this image 4 times until I got it where I liked it.
I stamped it and started coloring it with my Stampin Blends and the ink bled so I pitched that one. Another time I left it dry but I did not like the color of my cupcakes so I pitched that one. Then again I stamped it, left it dry and had it all colored to where I liked it. Decided to add some sparkle on my cupcakes with my Wink of Stella marker. Wouldn't you know it...a big blob of Wink of Stella came out and ruined my image! Ughh! 3rd time was not a charm for this cutie! The saying I used on this one is from the Itty Bitty Birthday set that retired last year. I need some belated birthday cards for on my card rack so that is why I used that set. And after the Wink of Stella incident I did not try to use it again.

I left the inside blank until I find a sentiment to put in there.

Card Details:

Stamps: Measure of Love
Ink: Memento Black, Misty Moonlight, Stampin Blends-Pool Party & Pale Papaya
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Pool Party, Basic White, Pattern Party DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Scallop Contour Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Misty Moonlight Enamel Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I am pleased with how it turned out after all that chaos!
Also retiring on my card is the Pattern Party DSP.
I have alot of this left that I will continue to use because I just love the prints & patterns in it. If you have a chance to get this paper...do it! It's so pretty!
