Wishing You Well

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

So sorry for the late update today! It was a very busy day!
We have been running around since 8am this morning as I had a haircut. I got 7 inches cut off. I really needed to do it as it was so long and I just could not stand it any longer. A weight has been lifted and it feels so much better! After my hair appointment I grabbed a few things at Walmart then headed home to wash a sink full of dishes and clean the bedrooms. We had a late breakfast then took Ryan for his photo ID in the afternoon. Then Shawn & I ran to the car wash to wash both cars since the sun was shining nicely! After that it was time to get the laundry started and supper! The sun is setting now and it's pajama time! Phew, what a day!

I have a quick card to share that I made just recently for my card rack.
My get well selection has 2 cards left and desperately needs more. I pulled out a goodie from a few years ago called Wishing You Well and got to work...

Wishing You Well was the very first Distinktive stamp set that Stampin Up created a couple of years ago. Since then they've had many and I personally love the them!

Card Details:

Stamps: Wishing You Well
Ink: Crushed Curry, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Basic White, Pool Party
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Stitched Labels Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits, Stylish Shapes Dies, Dragonfly Trinkets, Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love pulling out the old stuff and mixing it with new to create something!
I wish the really old stamp sets had dies because fussy cutting just isn't my thing.

Happy Autumn!

Good Morning & Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Saturday night I popped out to our local Hobby Lobby to grab a few things then hit up the grocery store. It was a summer like weekend with heat & humidity.
Yep, you guessed it, my AC is back on!

Yesterday we watched football and our team lost to the KC Chiefs.
They are a good team although we did not lose to them by much.
I sat and crafted while the game was on but Shawn was yelling at the tv almost the entire game.
Win some, lose some....that is just the way the cookie crumbles!

Today is the 1st day of Autumn! Woohoo!
I have a pack of cards to share that I made for my customer that has a Fall feel to them...

These used retired products such as the Painted Autumn DSP and the Wishing You Well stamp set.
My sentiment comes from Amuse.
Such pretty Fall colors that she is sure to love!

Card Details:

Stamps: Wishing You Well (retired), Sentiment from Amuse
Ink: Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Very Vanilla, Copper Foil Paper, Painted Autumn DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Square Layering Framelits, Layering Leaves EF, Classic Label Punch, Vanilla/Copper Trimmed Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I just got a huge card order from her so I will be busy working on that this week!
Just hope this headache goes away soon...
Sinus related, i'm sure!

Festive HB Card Set

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

A rainy, dreary morning here but it's to be a warm day with temps around 60.
I hope soon we can get some sunshine and keep it for more than 2 days!

Anyone have any fun plans for today?
Shawn & I are going to take a trip to a local antique store before football starts this afternoon.
I'm going to throw chili in the crock pot for a quick supper later.
Maybe squeeze in some stamp time!

Before my day gets away from me I want to show you another pack of cards I made for that big order I have been working on all week. My customer likes her birthday cards to kinda coordinate with the seasons so I have made this pack more on the festive side.
I really LOVE this pack!

My paper is Joyous Noel which is no longer available.
SU should have known how wildly popular this paper would be and made millions of it!
It's gorgeous! Lots of different prints and with the pops of Copper Foil in it.
I added a wreath to this from the Wishing You Well set from the Holiday Mini.
This stamp set is another of those Distinktive sets which I have come to REALLY love!
I added a bow from the Tea Room Suite. This ribbon is white with copper in it. It goes nicely with this DSP!

Card Set Details:

Stamps: Wishing You Well, Cake Soiree (sentiment)
Ink: Tranquil Tide
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Tranquil Tide, Whisper White, Copper Foil Paper, Joyous Noel Specialty DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Square Layering Framelits, Tea Room Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So pretty and perfect for a December birthday!
I still have one more pack for her December birthdays.
I'll tackle that this coming week!

Wishing You Well Notecards

Hello & Happy Friday!

My hubby has the day off and both kids have doctor appointments.
Kelsey has an appointment first thing to see an oral surgeon about getting her wisdom teeth taken out.
Then in the afternoon Ryan has an appointment to get a CT Scan related to his Colonoscopy.
Will be glad when that is all done.
We originally thought Kelsey was having her surgery today but this appointment is just a consultation.

Since it's going to be crazy busy I am going to make this quick!
I have another set of Notecards & Envelopes to share that I used the Wishing You Well set on.
This was in my customers last order.

The Notecards & Envelopes make this style of card quick & easy!

Card Set Details:

Stamps: Wishing You Well, Tropical Chic (sentiment)
Ink: Crushed Curry, Blackberry Bliss, Soft Suede
Cardstock: Notecards & Envelopes (Whisper White)
Accessories: Blackberry Bliss Faceted Dots

My customer really liked these and the smaller size.
I love the pretty Fall colors!

Wishing You Well

Hello & Happy Monday!

Welcome to October too!
We had a beautiful weekend for a change.
It was nice having the windows open!
My back has been bugging me so I took it easy.

Today I have another Thank You card to share that is for my customer.
This one is my favorite and these are done with Fall colors, too!

This set I did not have to do any fussy cutting, thankfully, but I am getting more comfortable doing it.
I also sneaked in some stamping on the inside of these, too!
Picture #2 shows the inside stamping.

Card Set Details:

Stamps: Wishing You Well, Tropical Chic (sentiment)
Ink: Soft Suede, Tranquil Tide, Crushed Curry
Cardstock: Whisper White Notecards & Envelopes
Accessories: none

I made a few of these for myself because I loved the colors and how easy they were to crank out.

30 days until Halloween!
Can't wait!

That's all for now!

Wishing You Well

Hello & Happy Friday!

Boy, has it ever been rainy in my parts!
I am SO ready for some sunshine that they say we are suppose to be getting this weekend.
I'd really like to get my bike out.
It's been forever....i'm not sure I even remember how to ride it!

Today I have a cute little pack of SU Notecards & Envelopes to share.
My customer needs 3 packs of Thank You cards and I think these fit the bit nicely.
I also used a new Distinktive set from the Holiday Mini Catalog called Wishing You Well.
Take a look....

I have fallen in love with these Distinktive stamp sets because of how they look!
This wreath caught my eye as soon as I seen it in the Mini.
I think it will be so pretty for a Christmas card too!

Card Set Details:

Stamps: Wishing You Well, Tropical Chic (sentiment)
Ink: Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede
Cardstock: SU Notecards & Envelopes
Accessories: Gold Metallic Enamel Dots (retired)

I fussy cut each of those bows out and glued them onto my wreath.
I'm not a fan at all of fussy cutting but sometimes we just need to do it!
