Jar of Haunts

 Hello & Happy Monday, Everyone!

I hope you had a nice weekend!
Yesterday was another rain day but that was fine. We took Kelsey out to do some shopping in the morning then back home in time to watch football which our Baltimore Ravens lost. Today is back to the grind....Shawn back to work and i'm headed to my stamp table to finish up my 31 days of Halloween card sets! I cannot believe the amount of DSP that I have used up on all these card sets! It just makes me smile! I may just do the same thing for Thanksgiving & Christmas LOL if I have enough supplies!
So I have another set of Halloween cards to share with you using a retired set called Jar of Haunts. It's a cute set that uses the retired Everyday Jar Framelits to diecut the jars out. I was able to use them on my Mummy Jar....take a look!

I think this set is just the cutest with that Mummy Jar and different colors that I pulled out of the paper. The Cobwebs 3D EF also plays a big part on this card with those cool spider webs. This set was so fun and I am having the best time pulling out the retired sets and breathing new life into them again!

Card Details:

Stamps: Jar of Haunts (retired-2016)
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Marker (W3)
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay (retired), Sahara Sand (retired), Basic White, Motley Monsters DSP (retired-2014)
Accessories: Everyday Jar Framelits Dies (retired), Cobwebs 3D EF (retired), Nested Essential Dies, Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Enamel Stars (retired), Bermuda Bay Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Jar of Haunts

Good Morning & Happy Friday!

Going to be a nice weekend here in south central PA!
Anyone have any fun plans?

Saturday Night is the Pumpkin Walk at the Rail Trail.
We went to it a few years ago and talked about going this year.
It's such a fun event and we enjoyed seeing all the decorated pumpkins on the 1/2 mile walk!

Today I am sharing card #4 from my World Cardmaking Day event with the ladies.

This is a really fun stamp set that I purchased off Facebook about 2 years ago.
I already had the Everyday Jar Framelits so it made sense to get the Halloween set.
The ladies got this card put together rather quickly except for having issues with the Basic Black Archival ink smearing when we ran the jar die thru the Big Shot. We then switched over to using Memento Black which dried quicker. Live & learn, right?

Card Details:

Stamps: Jar of Haunts (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival, Memento Black
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper (retired), Halloween Night DSP (retired)
Accessories: Everyday Jar Framelits, Halloween Night Baker's Twine (retired), Mini Dimensionals, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love this card...probably my favorite!
The inside says, "have some spooky fun"!

Jars of Love

Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

I hope everyone fared ok thru the storms yesterday afternoon!
They weren't too bad in my area but they hit just as we left to go to light therapy!
It dumped buckets of rain! Once we got home and had supper the sun came out.
Crazy springtime storms!

Today I have a card to show that I made using the Jars of Love stamp set.

Take a look...

I made this for on my card rack since my Sympathy cards are getting low.
Always good to have this kind of card on hand!

Card Details:

Stamps: Jars of Love, Flourishing Phrases
Ink: Gray Granite, Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, Balmy Blue
Cardstock: Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White
Accessories: Everyday Jar Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Sadly, this set will be retiring soon but won't be leaving my collection anytime soon!

Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your all doing well!
Sorry for the lack of posts recently.
It seems my mojo went on vacation without me!

Today I made myself go down to my stamp table and create something.
I started with this week's Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge.
Here is this week's sketch and my card samples.

Sympathy cards are no fun to make but I really did enjoy using the Jars of Love stamp set to create this pretty card. I used summer colors...Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay & Granny Apple Green.

Card Details:

Stamps: Jars of Love, Flourishing Phrases
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White
Accessories: Everyday Jar Framelits, Bermuda Bay Striped Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This week's sketch was really easy and i'm glad I had a starting point to help me get back to stamping!

Jars of Love

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today we heat back up here in PA.
Our weekend was so nice especially for July standards!
Sure wish it could have stayed that way the rest of the summer!

Today I have a pretty color combo to share using the Jar of Love stamp set & Framelits.
I was on the fence since this set came out on whether or not I wanted it since I have a jar set from a few years ago. I caved and got it this past spring!

I used the new Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Gray Granite and Balmy Blue on this. Such pretty colors! Also new on this card is the Gorgeous Grape DSP, Gorgeous Grape Striped Ribbon and the Gorgeous Grape Glittered Enamel Dots! The dots add a bit of sparkle to my card and keeps everything matching!

Card Details:

Stamps: Jars of Love
Ink: Gray Granite, Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue
Cardstock: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green, Whisper White, Gorgeous Grape DSP
Accessories: Everyday Jar Framelits, Gorgeous Grape Striped Ribbon, Glue Dots, Gorgeous Grape Glittered Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was thinking of using this set for my next stamp get together but there is alot of stamping & die cutting involved so I think I will just hold off and play a bit more with it to create a simple card with a simple design. I'm sure it can be done!

That's all for now!
