Monster Munchies

 Hello & Happy Saturday!
And Happy World Card Making Day!

Do you have any fun plans to make some cards today?

Miss Bailee is headed to the groomers first thing this morning then my stamp girls are coming over to make some cards this afternoon! It's been awhile since I seen them so I am looking forward to it!

Also today is my last day of Halloween cards! I'm sure your Halloween'd out as I am too! I still have some Halloween things to share with you but it's nothing like what I dumped on you the last 4 weeks! LOL I am going to get back to more normal cards with a few Halloween thrown into the mix!
For my last set I used the retired stamp set called Monster Munchies which retired in 2012. I paired it up with my Sizzix Ghost Die and some Simply Marbleous DSP from 2022.

When I pulled this stamp set out to use I immediately knew I wanted to pair it with my ghost dies and then I went on the hunt to find the right DSP to go with them. One afternoon I was sitting at my stamp table and I have clear bins that sit right in front of me and this DSP was looking right at me as if to say....use me! I flipped through the paper pack and found this Basic Gray & white marble paper and that is when the light bulb moment hit! LOL Isn't it werid how things come to be! I thought maybe it would be a bit spooky but also perfect for my ghost to have that misty swirly looking background! Perfect!

Card Details:

Stamps: Monster Munchies (retired-2012)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Basic Gray, Basic White, Basic Black, Simply Marbleous DSP (SAB retired-2022)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Well, I thought they were fun and what a way to end my Halloween marathon! LOL
This is set #32! I am proud that I managed to get that many made and also use up ALOT of DSP's and retired inks, cardstock & embellishments! My Halloween paper holder is much lighter now!
I hope that you enjoyed my Halloween card sets! I thought about doing that for Thanksgiving but I don't think I will.

Happy BOO!

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a nice weekend!
I have a busy day ahead with getting my cleaning done and then this evening I have a doctor appointment. Red Lion's Halloween Parade is tonight, too!

I am sharing the 3rd card that the the girls made for my recent Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. This card I cased from another demonstrator, Bonnie O'Neil. I had it saved in my favorites for quite awhile and decided to make it with the girls.

The little ghost came from a Paper Pumpkin Kit from a few years ago.
I had a few of them leftover so they were put to good use!

Card Details:

Stamps: Monster Munchies (retired)
Ink: Gorgeous Grape
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Gorgeous Grape, Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green
Accessories: Cobwebs 3D EF (retired), Oval Layering Framelits, Ghost (past PP Kit), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love the pretty colors on this one!
Halloween does not need to be dark & scary and I do try to keep them bright & happy for the most part unless I know someone likes the scary stuff.
For me, I'll take cute for Halloween anyday!

BOO Card

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week is going well!

I'm happy to say that I think my mojo is back....atleast for now! LOL
I worked all day yesterday on card kits for my next Stamp Day w Friends get together.
I'm happy that it's done so I will need to set a date with the girls soon!
I usually love to do that on World Card Making Day which is October 3rd this year but I already have plans.

Today I have a brand new card that I just made yesterday!
It is made with non Stampin Up! goodies...

I used a retired stamp set for my sentiment called Monster Munchies.
It's a favorite of mine!
The paper is unknown. I have a folder full of scraps so that is what I used.
The green cardstock is Green Galore! Anyone remember that color??

Card Details:

Stamps: Monster Munchies (retired)
Ink: Gorgeous Grape
Cardstock: Basic Black, Green Galore (retired), Gorgeous Grape, Whisper White, Unknown Paper
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Sizzix Ghost Die, Gorgeous Grape Striped Ribbon, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I wish Stampin Up! would bring out pretty paper & prints like this one for Halloween!
The last few years the prints are dark & dreary.
I personally like the pretty colors of Halloween!
Hope you like!

Happy BOO Day!

Hello & Happy Monday!

A late start to my day today.
I was up a bit too late last night and slept way too long this morning.
I never heard Shawn get up for work and the doggies never bothered me to get breakfast!
That's a very rare event around here! LOL

Today I have a cute Halloween card to share!
This was created using a bunch of things from my stash.
Take a peek...

Did you see that adorable Ghost?
He is a die that I snagged off of Ebay recently.
It is one of those thick black dies that Sizzix makes and I have been watching for one on there since summertime. I finally snagged one for $7.00 and $2.50 shipping! I thought it was a steal!

Anyways, I found a scrap of this paper in my Halloween paper folder (which I have no idea the maker) and added my Happy Boo sentiment from Stampin Up! I pulled the colors from the piece of patterned paper and that orange is retired Tangelo Twist from a few years ago. That piece was embossed with a Darice Embossing Folder that I also grabbed a few years ago at the York Heirloom Stamp Show.

Card Details:

Stamps: Monster Munchies
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Basic Black, Tangelo Twist. Whisper White, unknown patterned paper
Accessories: Sizzix Ghost Die, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Darice EF., Black Rhinestone, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was squealing with delight when I made this one!
So many cute things on it, even my little ghost!
What I like most about it though is the texture that the embossing folder adds!

This card will make it's way to one of my friends mailboxes in the next day or too if it has not already arrived at it's destination!

Happy BOO Day! 👻

Happy Boo Box

Hello & Happy Friday!

So glad the weekend is here!
My hubby has been working some long days this week and i'm looking forward to spending some time with him this weekend.
Tonight is my stamp night with friends. I'm looking forward to it!

Today I am sharing a box I made for Halloween.
This is one I found on You Tube by Angie Juda.
Here is the link if your interested in making them.

To my surprise these boxes hold alot!

Project Details:

Stamps: Monster Munchies (retired)
Ink: Gorgeous Grape
Cardstock: Basic Black, Gorgeous Grape, Whisper White, Toil & Trouble DSP
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Rhinestone, Clip, Gorgeous Grape Striped Ribbon, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Angie Juda's box is adorable with that little ghost and it inspired me to create my own.
I love the little ghost in this DSP.
I especially love the purple color!
We finally have a great color of purple!!!

Halloween Nugget Packs

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

We heard from the doctors office yesterday. Our doctor is out until the end of the week but if Shawn was having sharp pains, fever & vomiting he was to call and see one of the other doctors right away. Yesterday he was not having any of that, just some tenderness. He was still doing the liquids but he says his stomach is eating itself (meaning he's SO hungry). I did see him eat some orange jello last night that has mandarin oranges in so I guess he is going to start slowly on trying foods again. If his pain comes back then he will have to go back to liquids until that subsides. Fingers crossed for him. We are so close to getting his colonoscopy done and I don't want to have to put it off again.
Today he went into work at 3am to meet up with a contractor to work on a line. He said he will be home today by early afternoon and will help with putting out the Halloween decorations! Yipppee Skipppee! Here we are talking Halloween decorations and I had him put our window unit AC back in last evening! The temps have been so so but man the humdity is blah! Thank God he put it back in...I slept so well last night!

Anyways, today I am sharing another Halloween Treat I made with the yummy Hershey Nuggets! Take a look....

I love making these Nugget Packs for every holiday....they never get old especially if you have super fun patterned paper to do so! On these I used the Spooky Night DSP that is new! I think my favorite sheet is the one with all the pumpkins on! I used 4 nuggets in these. I found that if I use more that they are not a very good seller so I have been sticking to just 4 wrapped nuggets. The "Happy Booooo from me to you" saying is from any older stamp set called, Monster Munchies.

Halloween Hershey Nugget Packs:

Stamps: Monster Munchies
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Spooky Night DSP
Accessories: Wide Oval Punch, 2X8 Cello Bags, Black/Pumpkin Halloween Night Twine, Black Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Did anyone watch the season premiere of Dancin With the Stars last night?
If so, who was your favorite? There was so many good ones so i'm not sure I have a favorite yet. Drew Scott from Property Brothers & Emma Slater stand out to me! Can't wait to watch next week!

My thoughts today....

Sure is!

Well, that is all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a really nice day!
