Chocolate Bunny

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week is going well!

Yesterday we got that bike ride in!!
It was tough when we first started out as we were fighting the 20 mph winds that were associated with a cold front that was coming thru. That was tough and I am feeling it in my muscles today!

I got to work last week on making myself some Easter cards.
Of course, I pulled out my entire basket of Easter sets and decided to use my beloved Chocolate Bunny stamp! He's certainly been well loved over the years!

I used many retired items on these which is helping little by little to get that old stash down!

Card Details:

Stamps: Chocolate Bunny (retired), Teeny Tiny Wishes (retired)
Ink: Bashful Blue, Versamark
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Bashful Blue, So Saffron, Delicate Dots DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Be Mine Stitched Framelits, Classic Label Punch, Heat Gun, White Embossing Powder, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The bunnies were already embossed and in my stash for a few years!
Felt great using it up!
I got 8 cards made and I only have 2 full sheets and a bunch of scraps left of this DSP!
WooHoo!

My thoughts today...

That's exactly what I am going to be doing today!
It's my day to play!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Chocolate Bunny

Hello & Happy Thursday!

The week is flying by and only 3 more days till Easter!

Today I am sharing a couple of Easter cards that I made this week and mailed out to friends using the Chocolate Bunny from years ago. It's one stamp that will stay in my collection for along time!

These cards used many retired products from moons ago but I was thrilled to use them and breath new life into them again! I had to reink my old ink pads so I could use the same colors that were in my DSP.  Regal Rose was a favorite. My Close to Cocoa ink pad was very dry. Good thing I still had the reinker!

Card Details:

Stamps: Chocolate Bunny, Circle of Spring (sentiment)
Ink: Close to Cocoa
Cardstock: Regal Rose, Sahara Sand, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White, Rebecca DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Regal Rose 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Glue Dots, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This last one was done with retired products as well.

Sarah is the name of the DSP and I used retired Ballet Blue & Barely Banana cardstock.
Anyone remember those colors?

Today is definitely a blast from the past!

My thoughts today....

Baseball season opens today and looking out my window right now does not look like spring.
It is cloudy, foggy & calling for more rain showers. Dare I say it but I heard yesterday that there may be a chance of some snow next week! Acck! I sure hope not!

Anyways, thanks for stopping by & have yourself a great day!

Happy Easter!!!

Hello & Happy Easter, friends!

It's been a hectic week! So sorry for the lack in posts but I had a feeling it was going to be that way! I had 2 doctor appointments this week with Pain Management. The first was a follow up and the second one was Friday morning for my 2nd Epidural Steroid Injection. Friday I was on bed rest and Saturday we had to prepare for our Easter Day. But before I head to bed I wanted to share the rest of my Easter treats I made so let's get to it!

First off though I want to share a picture that Kirsten shared with me....
Love your adorable pink tree, Billie Jo! So sweet! :)

A friend that Kirsten works with bought a bunch of my Easter treats and decorated her little tree that's in her cubical. She loves pink! Kirsten sent this picture to me one day last week and I fell in love with it and thought i'd share it with you!

And here are the treats.....

Phew, that was alot, huh? I was quite pleased with everything I made and even happier that Kirsten & my parents sold all of it! I purchased myself a Big Shot machine with the extra cash I made. I'm so excited to get it so I can use my extra large dies with it. I'm looking forward to making some banners and decorating some wreaths in the coming weeks! A huge Thank You to everyone who purchased!
I'm not going to list all the supplies I used to make these treats so if there is anything you need to know please shoot me an email at blueyes966@comcast.net

Well, it was a beautiful day and I spent it with my wonderful hubby, 3 kiddo's plus Kirsten's boyfriend, Brad and their puppy Rosco and my parents & 2 little doggies! Couldn't ask for anything more! Hope you all have a very happy day too!

I'm heading to bed!
Lots of fun stampy things to come this week!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
