Pumpkin Fun

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!!

Last evening I got Audrey's 2nd card order delivered to her within a week.
I did not stay very long as Shawn wanted to get home and mow before it got dark.
She was in good spirits and thrilled that the cards got to her before the weekend!
Today I am planning on stamping for myself, atleast I hope!
Wednesday I was up early and headed down to my stamp table before 9am.
My phone rang at 9:30 and it was Audrey requesting more cards. So, instead of stamping for myself that day I ended up working on her cards so I could get them done.
I am sharing 2 of the Halloween cards that she requested for her 2 friends. I pulled out lots of retired stuff which I did enjoy using!

Both cards are pretty much the same except they have different colored bows on them.

Card Details:

Stamps: Frightfully Cute (retired sentiment)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Spooky Night DSP (retired 2017)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits Dies (retired 2017), Stylish Shapes Dies, Pumpkin Pie 1/4 Taffeta Ribbon (retired), 1/4 Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Pumpkin Pie Enamel Dots (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

She loved them with the happy jack o'lanterns on!

I still have about 3/4 of a pack of the Spooky Night DSP leftover from 2017.
Guess I really should start using it up!

Witch Candy 3 Panel Cards

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

It's going to be a beautiful day here today! I have a couple of quick errands to run this morning then i'm going to pull some of my Halloween decorations out and get started. This year I don't think I have it in me to put everything out so for now it's just going to be a few things. Last evening I packed away a couple summer items to get ready for Fall & Halloween. Shawn said "are you kicking summer to the curb"? Heck yes I am! I've been loving the weather the last few days since it's been cool so YES, I am kicking summer to the curb!

Today I have another set of cute Halloween cards to share with you. This is set #11 in my quest to use up my stamps, inks, embellishments & papers! I can see that i've already made quite the difference in my magazine holder that houses all my Halloween papers!
This set is a pack of 6 and I used the Patty Bennett 3 Panel Card design on these...

Lots of pictures for this post but I wanted to show the different looks of the 3 Panel Cards once they were put together and the inside. That inside sentiment is from DRS Designs.

Card Details:

Stamps: Bewitching (retired-2022), Frightfully Cute (retired-2021), DRS Designs  (Sentiment-inside)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Black Glimmer Paper (retired), Monster Bash DSP (retired-2019)
Accessories: Witch Hat Builder Punch (retired-2022), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Stamparatus (retired), Black Classic Matte Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Another pack that turned out pretty cute and it feels great to use up retired supplies, too!

Last of the Halloween Treats

Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

 The weekend is here!
Not too much happening other than Bailee goes to be groomed tomorrow morning.
The weather is to be nice Saturday but rain coming on Sunday.
Today on the Hallmark Channel the new Christmas movies start!
I get so excited every year when this time of year happens!
I watch that channel almost everyday and I adore their Christmas movies.
Tonight the first movie is Noel Next Door that I am looking forward to watching.

Natalie Hall and Corey Sevier are two favorite actors on the Hallmark Channel so I am hoping it's a good movie to kick off the holiday season!

I know, it's a bit early to be talking Christmas but as quickly as time flies anymore....it will be here before we know it! Every year Hallmark starts the Christmas movies at this time so it is much welcomed by me!

Today I am sharing the last of my Halloween treats.
These are made with the Halloween M&M's.

First up are the individual packets of M&M's that I found this year in the Ghoul's Mix M&M's. These are the Fun Size ones.

I took some very old Pumpkin Pie DSP and wrapped around the packets and adhered shut with some Stampin Seal Plus. I added the Spider Web and Sentiment panel with Dimensionals to the front of the packet. They are from a project that I had leftover from last year. I used the Frightfully Cute set & coordinating Frightful Tags Dies bundle that is retired. The black lacy ribbon is very old. Just trying to use up the older things! I made up 12 of these and sold 11 of them!

Next are the M&M Sticks that I make for most Holidays.
I have a lady who wants them every occasion. She use to be my English teacher in high school so I am always happy to make them for her. These use a retired stamp set called Delightful Dozen. It has been retired for many years but still works well for a tag on M&M Sticks. I made 15 of these this year and they all sold.

That is all I have for today!
I am washing bedsheets then later heading out to do some shopping with Shawn & Kelsey and grabbing supper at Mission Barbeque. Hobby Lobby has Christmas stuff out and we would like to go browse and see if there is anything we need! LOL
Believe it or not....sometimes Shawn is the only one who walks out of the store with purchases and Kelsey & I are empty handed! LOL

Witch Hat Slider Boxes

 Hello & Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

I hope your week is going well so far!
I picked at a puzzle all day yesterday until I just could not keep my eyes open any longer.
I have about half of a 1000 piece done. I hope to finish it today!
We had a cold front come thru yesterday that left our weather feeling more like late November. It's windy and the temps dropped down into the 30's overnight. We are only to get to 50 today! Burrr! Coldest temps so far this season.

Today I have another cute Halloween treat to share with you using the Bewitching Bundle from the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog. It's a cute set with a coordinating punch.

Marisa from over at Kitchen Table Stamper showed us how to make these on a FB Live a few months ago. I made these before I got sick so it's been awhile. Each box has 5 Dove Milk Chocolates in.

Project Details:

Stamps: Frightfully Cute (retired), Bewitching
Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Parakeet Party, Pumpkin Pie, Memento Black
Cardstock: Gorgeous Grape, Parakeet Party, Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Black & White Design DSP
Accessories: Witch Builder Hat Punch, Frightful Tags Dies (retired), Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Blending Brushes, Iridescent Black Dots (retired), White Twine, Hand Held Hole Punch (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made 6 of these, 2 in each color.
I will make these again for Christmas since they make a cute little stocking stuffer!
And who doesn't like the Dove Milk Chocolates?!

Less Trickin More Treatin

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a nice weekend!
I did since I was able to stamp both days!

Today I have a set of Halloween cards that I whipped up for on my card rack.
I like to usually make extra's card sets incase someone needs them.
You'd be surprised at how many will ask for them last minute!

This pack started with a Basic Black cardbase then a layer of Basic White that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Timeworn Type 3D EF. I really love the textured that is brings to any card!
Next I had some scarps of my Cute Halloween DSP left from other projects so I cut them down to fit my card and placed them on. The haunted house piece is cut 1/4 smaller than the Boo piece.
Next I stamped my sentiment from the Frightfully Cute stamp set in Basic Black Archival (this is a retired ink but I love how bold the ink is compared to the Memento Black). I stamped that onto a Circle Layering Framelits then added an Old Olive bat from the same stamp set. I diecut a Basic Black scalloped Circle to layer under my sentiment panel and adhered that directly to my card with Tombow.
Last, I added a Black & White Gingham Ribbon bow & a few rhinestones because you have to always have sparkle on a card! LOL
The inside (which I did not take a picture of) says "Happy Halloween to you"!

I hope you liked this set!

Card Details:

Stamps: Frightfully Cute
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Old Olive
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Cute Halloween DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Timeworn Type 3D EF, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Owl Halloween Card

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have card #3 to share that we made on Saturday for World Card Making Day! This was Miss Emily's favorite...

She loved the colors in this sheet of DSP and that adorable owl!
I agree!

Card Details:

Stamps: Frightfully Cute
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Flirty Flamingo, Basic Gray, Cute Halloween DSP
Accessories: Frightful Tags Dies, Stamparatus, Black Glittered Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My hubby headed back to work today after 4 days off.
He tinkered around yesterday with his truck while I worked on some laundry.
Today it's housework for me but i'd rather be doing some stamping!
Hopefully tomorrow I can get back to my stamp table. I picked up some Fall candies over the weekend so I want to get a jump start on Thanksgiving treats before going full blown Christmas.
That is when my hands are really going to be a mess.
It's just hard to believe we are already into the first week of October already!

My thoughts today...

I'm definitely going to need an extra cup today!
Was up for about 2 hours during the night because of a very loud thunderstorm!
We had them 2 nights in a row!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

It's Halloween!

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!
It sure got warm & muggy yesterday!
I had to break down and turn my AC back on as the girls were hot.
All in all it was a nice but busy weekend.
Shawn is off again today so I am going to make this a quick update!

Today I have card #2 to share from my World Card Making Day.
This card uses the Frightfully Cute stamp set and a retired set, The Raven.

Card Details:

Stamps: Frightfully Cute, The Raven (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Basic Black, Mango Melody, Basic White, Toil & Trouble DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Scalloped Contour Dies, Rhinestones, Sponge Dauber, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The inside says "Celebrate if you dare"!

We started with a cardbase of Basic Black then a layer of Mango Melody that was diecut with the Scallop Contour Dies. Next we adhered a layer of DSP from the retired Toil & Trouble DSP that was diecut with the Stitched Rectangle Framelits. Then a layer of Basic White that was diecut with the Scallop Contour Dies.
I love that they have so many different sizes and styles of scallops!
We stamped our moon from the Frightfully Cute stamp set in Mango Melody then used a Sponge Dauber dabbing Pumpkin Pie ink on our stamp to give it a 2 toned look. Then we stamped our witch in Basic Black Archival ink. I know this ink is retired but I like use this ink since it's very bold and gives a nice image.
Then we stamped our sentiment and finished up with the rhinestones for sparkle!
Miss Emily loves her rhinestones!

Everything lays flat on this one for easy mailing!

Peppermint Patty Spider Boxes

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Happy World Card Making Day, too!

My doggies are off to Doggy Day Spa this morning then this afternoon my friends are coming over to make some cards on this special day!
I can't wait!

Today I am sharing the last of my Halloween treats with you!
These are acetate boxes that Stampin Up! carries and are the perfect size to put 4 York Peppermint Patties in!
I know not everyone cares for the peppermint patties but I have a customer who usually requests them. I love them too!

I only took this one picture and hopefully you can see how they are decorated.
Each box has a piece of patterned paper wrapped around it measuring 2 x 10.
Once I adhered the wrapper on I wrapped some Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon around and tied a bow. This ribbon is very easy to work with and ties a beautiful bow!
I then diecut my spider web from the Frightful Tags Dies with Black Glittered Paper then I diecut my tag from the same set of dies and stamped them with the spider from the Cute Halloween stamp set. The saying comes from the Frightfully Cute set. I attached the spider web & tag with Dimensionals and lastly I added some Black Matte Enamel Dots.

I usually try to get my papers to match my candy wrappers and I had to dig deep for this sheet of paper. I'm not sure who the maker is.

Halloween Treat Box:

Stamps: Frightfully Cute, Cute Halloween
Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Black Glitter Paper, Basic White, unknown Houndstooth Paper
Accessories: Frightful Tags Dies, Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon, Black Matte Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope you enjoyed seeing my 2021 Halloween Candy Treats this year!
I also hope that I have inspired you to create your own candy treats!
I enjoy making these as it's something different than making cards.
If you create your own treats, I would love to see them!
Shoot me an email, please!

Ghost Candy Totes

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Can you believe that today is the last day of September already?!
This year is flying by so quickly!

We are 1 day away from the weekend but it's going to be a busy one here!
Saturday is World Card Making Day!
I am having my friends over in the afternoon to make some Halloween cards!
My doggies have doggie day spa in the morning so that is why I am doing it later.
It's going to be fun!

Today I am sharing another Halloween candy treat!
I make these totes quite a bit since I have so many of the 3 x 6 Gusseted Cello Bags that Stampin Up! has retired. I learned to make these from a Stampin Up demo that I do not think is a demo anymore, sadly! She was amazing!

I used Reese's Peanut Butter Miniatures in my cello bags.
The Halloween wrappers are in orange, purple & black, perfect for Halloween!
I filled my cello bags with 9 candies.
I started with a piece of Basic Black cardstock measuring 3 x 11 that were scored at 4, 6 & 10.
Crease those score lines nice so it helps the tote to stand better.
I used a Circle Layering Framelit to cut out my window in the front of the tote.
Then I made the frame with Highland Heather with a scalloped Circle Layering Framelits and glued that on.
I put a piece of Cute Halloween DSP on the flap.
I used 2 Dimensionals to hold my flap shut by putting them under my sentiment panel. I diecut the sentiment panel with the Frightful Tags Dies.
The little ghost is punched out of the Cute Halloween DSP using the Halloween Punch. I love the little ghost!
Lastly, I added some adhesive Stars and a bow using the Black & White Gingham Ribbon! I have gone thru 4 rolls of this ribbon! LOVE IT! I hope Stampin Up! will carry it long after this mini catalog is done.

Halloween Totes:

Stamps: Frightfully Cute
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Cute Halloween DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Frightful Tags Dies, Halloween Punch, 3 x 6 Gusseted Cello Bags (retired), Adhesive Stars, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I whipped up 8 of these in no time and used 2 1/2 bags of candy.
These are definitely a favorite for my customers!
