Arrange A Wreath Holiday Cards

Good Sunday Morning!

Hope your enjoying a nice weekend!

Yesterday Miss Bailee had a dog grooming appointment and later in the afternoon I had a haircut appointment. Miss Bailee looked wonderful when we picked her in her little ladybug scarf but she was pretty tired after that! Ryan said while we were at my hair appt that she slept most of the time. I had a couple of inches taken off my length as I usually do over the summer. The girl who does my hair told me that I have a ton of new growth coming in and it's all gray. She said it's a pretty gray. LOL I am noticing less and less hair loss so I think my doctor was spot on with the thyroid being the issue with my hair falling out. Anyways, after my hair appointment we did a Sam's Club trip then back home for BLT's and fresh corn on the cob for dinner. The tomato & corn were perfect! I am thinking of using some fresh corn on the cob to make a batch of Chicken Corn Soup for one day this week! I love all the fresh fruits & veggies that come this time of year!

Last week I spent a few days at my stamp table playing around with so much of my Christmas stash. Lots of paper, stamps & embellishments just waiting to be used. I made this set of cards one day using Merry Moments DSP and a bundle called Arrange A Wreath...both long retired.

Card Details:

Stamps: Arrange A Wreath (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow, Real Red, Basic White, Merry Moments DSP (retired)
Accessories: Wreath Builder Dies (retired), Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Red Rhinestones, Mini Dimensionals, Stampin Seal Adhesive

Each strip of DSP was cut down to 1 1/4 x 4 and trying to give each strip the same space in between was a bit tricky but I loved the design once they were finished. The wreath I diecut  using Adhesive Sheets but that gave me lots of issues taking the backing off so I ended up ditching that idea and just attached them with Mini Dimensionals. That worked so much better! I made 6 cards in this design. I have so much of this DSP left that I could have probably made 2 more packs.

This week I have 2 more cards to make for Audrey and I will be delivering her order to her.
She said she is completely out of cards! I guess the sooner I get them done and delivered to her, the better!

Wreath Card Set

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

It's a picture perfect day here in south central PA!
Definitely my kind of weather!

Today I have another set of Thanksgiving cards to share that I made ahead of time for either my card rack or my card lady.
I was inspired by a card I received in the mail from a friend and I knew I had many sheets of the same DSP. I changed up my wreath and the sentiment.

Card Details:

Stamps: Pleasant Pheasant (retired)
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Thick Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Painted Harvest DSP (retired)
Accessories: Wreath Builder Dies (retired), Ornate Frames Dies, Gold Rhinestones (Michael's), Natural Gold Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Nothing is popped up on these so they will mail nicely!

Arrange A Wreath Cards

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Hope your weekend is off to a great start!
I slept in this morning that is why the late update.
It's a bright sunny morning but it sure is cooler than the last couple of days.
Yesterday we heard that they found that young woman dead that they have been looking for at the York Rail Trail. We've not been there since Wednesday evening. The news & local search & rescue crews were out that evening walking along the trail. I got such an eerie feeling then after seeing carnations laying along the paved road that leads to the trail. It was said that she was suicidal but that's not been confirmed.
Either way it's such a sad situation and my heart hurts for her family.

Today I have a set of cards that I made back in November for a card order for Thanksgiving.
It uses the Arrange A Wreath stamp set & Wreath Builder Dies.

I wasn't going to share these but I always like to keep track of what I make for my card lady and I like to have idea's to look back on for each stamp set.
This stamp set is very versatile and one I hope does not retire this year.

I started with a Thick Whisper White cardbase that I covered with a piece of In Good Taste DSP.
I love this certain sheet of Woodgrain DSP.
Then I diecut several colors of cardstock with the Wreath Builder Dies.
I chose Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Bumble Bee and built my wreath.
I ran the Wreath Builder Dies thru the Big Shot with my cardstock & Adhesive Sheets to make it easier to adhere to my cardbase. Once I got all those wreaths attached I added a bow with some Bumble Bee Gingham Ribbon.
I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Cajun Craze and added some rhinestones for sparkle to finish them up!

Do you have any fun plans?
I have laundry to do and maybe finish up my card order I have been working on.
Maybe grab a walk with my better half later on.
Taking advantage of the sunshine!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Arrange A Wreath for Easter

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Halfway thru the week and it is to be a lovely day here in PA!
If you live on the east coast, I hope you get to enjoy this day!

Today I have a set of Easter cards that I made last week for my card lady.
She has ordered 2 packs of Easter cards so this will be one pack.
I used the Arrange A Wreath bundle from the Stampin Up! Annual Catalog.

I started out with a cardbase of Flirty Flamingo then a layer of Whisper White.
The Granny Apple Green panel at the bottom was a few scraps I had leftover from last year's Pleased As Punch DSP from SaleABration Coordinates.
I stamped my sentiment on that piece of DSP with Highland Heather ink.
The top of the card I stamped my wreath on with Granny Apple Green using my Stamparatus so I would get a good image. It worked like a charm!
My Easter eggs were stamped on scraps of Whisper White in Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo & Highland Heather inks and diecut with the Wreath Builder Dies.
I also diecut a ribbon from the same dies using a scrap piece of Daffodil Delight.
I adhered the eggs to my wreath and added a few rhinestones for sparkle and finished these up!

Card Details:

Stamps: Arrange A Wreath
Ink: Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo
Cardstock: Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Pleased As Punch DSP (retired- SAB Coordinates)
Accessories: Wreath Builder Dies, Stamparatus, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal+

I'm not sure I am loving this one for some reason but I am do like all the spring colors!
And I do think my card lady will be pleased that these will mail flat!
