Birthday Blooms Double Fold Gate Card

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Another hot & humid one on tap here in PA.
We rode our bikes the last 3 evenings but I don't think tonight we will with this high humidity sitting over us again. Blah! Plus they are calling for thunderstorms here so I guess it's best that we just stay put in the air conditioning. I could not imagine not having that luxury! Maybe I will do some more stamping instead!

Today I have a different type of card to share. I seen this done originally by Dawn Olchefske. She has a very nice video tutorial on how to make this card. The link is below.

I pulled out some Birthday Bouquet DSP and the coordinating stamp set, Birthday Blooms to make this pretty card!

This is called a Double Fold Gate Card.

This is a fun & very easy card to make. Here is the link if your interested in giving it a try!
I have been wanting to make this type of card for so long and i'm very happy with the outcome! A huge Thanks to Dawn & her terrific video!

Diaper Fold Pouches

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a terrific weekend!

I spent Friday & Sunday in my craft room playing with stamps & papers without any interruptions. I also watched many You Tube video's learning how to make different things. Some I saved for a later date but what i'm sharing today is a project that I revisited after making these many years ago!
Diaper Fold Pouches

I watched a video that Kay Kalthoff made sharing the directions for making the Diaper Fold Pouches. I was inspired to make a bunch for my group of stamp ladies for next week. Here is the link to her blog post: Stamping to Share

They are really quick & easy to whip up and so adorable!!

Diaper Fold Pouches:

Stamps: Birthday Blooms
Ink: Calypso Coral, Pacific Point
Cardstock: Calypso Coral, Pacific Point, Very Vanilla, Pretty Petals DSP 6 X 6 Pad
Accessories: Circle & Scallop Circle Punches, Bold Butterfly Framelits, Kaiser Vanilla Pearls, Dimensionals, Tombow Liquid

Inside each Diaper Fold Pouch I added a Ghiradelli Caramel Square...YUM!
I think the girls will like them!

That's all for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

For You

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Been hitting the stamp table quite a bit in trying to get prepared for cards that I will need in the next month. Today I have another birthday card to share using the Birthday Blooms set.

This set is terrific! Love the images in it as well as the sentiments!

I broke out my Pool Party Glitter Ribbon for this one. If you don't have any of this ribbon, you need some!!! It's very nice, no glitter falling off and it's soft and ties a beautiful bow!

For You Card:

Stamps: Birthday Blooms, Gorgeous Grunge
Ink: Pool Party, Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Blushing Bride, Pool Party, Whisper White, Birthday Bouquet DSP
Accessories: Circle & Scallop Circle Punches, Pool Party Glitter Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, 2 Sided Tape

That's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Birthday Blooms

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Not much happening this weekend at the Aungst Pad.
Our weather is suppose to get cooler again. It's no wonder I am still dealing with this cold. It's relentless!

Today I am sharing a card I made yesterday. There are a few birthdays coming up so I thought i'd get working on them. It's going to be a busy month with hubby's surgery and I might not get much time to create in the coming weeks.

This set uses the Birthday Blooms from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I wasn't really keen on it at first but this has become one of my favorites!

My main focus panel is off to the right hand side because I did not want to cover all the polka dot paper. The Daffodil Delight flower just pops! I added some small white pearls to add some elegance to my card. I'm sure the recipient will like it!

Birthday Blooms Card:

Stamps: Birthday Blooms
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Whisper White, Everyday Chic DSP
Accessories: Small White Pearls, 2 Sided Tape

That's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a terrific weekend!!

Happiest of Birthdays

Hello & Happy Friday!

So happy the weekend is here!

Today starts the Spring Craft Show, i'm SO excited about that! There are so many cute & springy things for sale at the show...I was just in awe of all the neat things! I hope to go shop before it's over.

Today I want to share a birthday card I made with the very pretty paper from the Birthday Bouquet DSP paper pack! The colors and prints are so pretty....I may have to order another pack before the mini catalog retires!

I think after the last few days of beautiful, warm temps that everyone has spring fever but we are still in winter till the 20th. I heard that we may have some cold weather coming back into play at the end of next week. Boo!

I took full advantage of the nice weather the last few days. I cleaned out all the leaves from my flower beds and raked them up. I even noticed that the grass is getting greener! The flowers are popping up too so I know spring will be here soon!

Happiest of Birthdays Card:

Stamps: Birthday Blooms
Ink: Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Blushing Bride, Pool Party, Whisper White, Birthday Bouquet DSP
Accessories: Bold Butterfly Framelits, Blushing Bride Ribbon (retired), Tombow Liquid

That is all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a terrific weekend!
