Snickers Star Bags

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I hope your week is going well.
Today is another busy day so I am gonna get right to today's update!

It is Day #3 of sharing my Christmas treats.
These bags came from Stampin Up a few years ago and I already had them decorated but when I used them a few years ago none of the sold. Back then I sent the leftover candy to Shawn's work and packed the bags away for another time. Another time came this year when I went thru my drawers and found them. I'm trying hard to get stuff used up and out of my craft room. I filled these bags up with Mini Snicker's and called them done!

Project Details:

Stamps: Cottage Wreath (retired)
Ink: Real Red, Garden green
Cardstock: Real Red, Garden Green, Basic White
Accessories: Country Wreath Dies (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Fingers crossed they sell this year!

Cottage Wreath

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

We've made it to the weekend!
My back & my left hip is still giving me a bit of grief this morning. I'm sure the ac being on last night did not help my arthritis but hopefully in a few days I will get back to feeling better. The last week has been a challenge on my back with helping to lift furniture and boxes and as careful as I was, I am still feeling the strain.
Advil, Ben Gay & my heating pad all have become my friends!

Today I have a monochromatic card to share with you using the Cottage Wreath set. It is probably my most favorite stamp set because I love how versatile this set is. It can be used at anytime of the year! With the summer winding down and being reminded that Fall is around the corner I decided to make this a card for Fall.

I am really missing my Soft Suede color since SU! retired it in May. I resorted to pulling out Pecan Pie which replaced it and so far I like it! My wreath was stamped in Pecan Pie and I added a bow that was diecut from the Country Wreath Dies. Then I stamped the trio of leaves in Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler & Pumpkin Pie and added them to my sentiment with a Linen Thread bow. Was pleased with how it turned out but I think it needs some sparkle! Before I mail it out I just might add some clear Rhinestones.

Card Details:

Stamps: Cottage Wreath
Ink: Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Basic White, Glorious Gingham DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Country Wreath Dies, Linen Thread, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Another day of rest is ahead for me then this evening a trip to Sam's Club.
Shawn just might have to put me in a seated cart to wheel me around! LOL Picture that!

Cottage Wreath Christmas Cards

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I am way late getting a post up today...so sorry!
I have a few cards to whip up this afternoon for Audrey and I forgot all about the blog.
Once I got her cards finished I got my Christmas cards photographed and then I had to wait until I got my supper in the oven to update the blog.
Now I have 30 minutes free before Shawn gets in the door & time to eat.
I am continuing my Christmas in July series today and since us demonstrators have not seen the holiday mini yet, I pulled out a set that carried over from last Christmas. Cottage Wreath was a favorite of mine....perfect for Christmas or anytime of the year!

I just love this set!

Card Details:

Stamps: Cottage Wreath
Ink: Pear Pizzazz (retired), Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Pear Pizzazz (retired), Basic White, Heartwarming Hugs DSP (retired)
Accessories: Country Wreath Dies, Pretty Pillow Box Dies (retired), Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Square Layering Framelits (retired), White Glittered Ribbon, Iridescent Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Only thing popped up on these cards is the little tag which makes for easier mailing!
The Heartwarming Hugs DSP is long retired and I have 2 packs of it that needs used up. Perfect traditional colors for Christmas, don't ya think?

Card Set W/ Coordinating Box

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

I don't think we've had any sunshine since Tuesday and today there definitely won't be any since they are saying a mix bag of precipitation. I think the seasonal blues are setting in!
This girl does so much better with sunny days!

I've got a cute project to share with you today!
I worked for hours last Saturday to put this together and I love the outcome.
Marisa at Kitchen Table Stamper made this box for a few projects she did back before Christmas. I saved it for when I had the time.
This is the card box and a picture of the card box open...

She used The Yeti stamp set on one set and Forever Friendship on the other. Both stamp sets are from the Holiday Mini Catalog that just retired. I did not have either stamp set so I substituted the Cottage Wreath set for mine.

The inside has 2 pockets, one for the postage stamps and the other holds 6 cards & envelopes which on hers she put 8.
Here are the cards I made for inside...

Project Details:

Stamps: Knit Together, Cottage Wreath, Go To Greetings, Celebrating You
Ink: Sweet Sorbet, Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Basic White, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Cottage Gingham DSP  (retired- Mint Macaron, So Saffron & Calypso Coral)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Country Wreath Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, 1 1/2 Circle Punch, Genial Gems (retired), Mint Macaron Ribbon (retired), Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made this for myself but more than likely I will gift this away!
I'd really like to make another one but we'll see!
Hope you enjoyed seeing my recent project.
It was alot of fun!

Stamp Day Card #2

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I am sharing the next card that the girls made on Saturday at my Christmas Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. This one looks complicated but I had most of it ready for them so they only had to stamp & adhere it. We also did some heat embossing!

This card uses the Cottage Wreath bundle which is a big favorite of mine!
Plus it was recently announced that this bundle will be carrying over! YAY!

I used the Organic Beauty Dies to diecut that beautiful background with Gold Foil Paper. Then we stamped the wreath and then heat embossed the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder. The bow on the wreath is diecut from the Country Wreaths Dies and lastly we added a few Gold Festive Pearls.

Card Details:

Stamps: Cottage Wreath, Hope & Peace
Ink: Garden Green, Real Red, Versamark
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper
Accessories: Organic Beauty Dies, Country Wreaths Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Festive Pearls, Dimensionals, Adhesive Sheets

And this was Miss Emily's favorite card!!

Star Bags

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Today I am sharing another sweet treat that I made for Christmas using the Star Bags from the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog!
If you weren't looking for them you would probably miss them being in the catty. They are on page 35 and have a few samples for it throughout the catty.
I decorated mine with the Cottage Wreath Bundle and filled them with Christmas Snickers Mini's!

These bags are very sturdy and will hold a good bit!
I love the smooth texture of them and you could easily stamp on them but i'd suggest you do that carefully as I smeared my ink on 2 of them. I gave up after that and just stamped my sentiment on a Stylish Shapes Dies and adhered it to my bags.  It did not help that I was rushing to get done but stamping on the bags is one option.
I filled my bags with the Snickers candies and tied my bags shut by wrapping my Garden Green Ribbon around the top and tying my bow. The ribbon can easily slide off to get inside the bag. I used the Cottage Wreath stamp set and the Country Wreaths Dies to cut my wreaths out. Overall I was pleased with how they turned out!

Project Details:

Stamps: Cottage Wreath
Ink: Garden Green, Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Garden Green, Basic White
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits, Country Wreath Dies, Star Bags, Garden Green Ribbon, Red Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It sure is!

I have too many too list!

Are you staying cool during this heatwave?
Yesterday was pretty awful and I tried to stay inside most of the day.
I washed my bedsheets and hung them out to dry and took Bailee out for a very quick walk and that's about it. I'm praying some relief will come soon.

My card for today's Christmas in July series uses the Cottage Wreath stamp set & the Country Wreath Dies. It's quickly becoming a favorite!

Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Basic White, Sahara Sand, Vellum, Bough of Holly DSP

1 more week of Christmas in July then I will get back to making normal everyday cards.
I hope your enjoying all these Christmas cards!
