Happy Halloween!

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Trick or Treat Day has finally come!
Y'all know how much I love Halloween!
I'm not much into the scary, horror kind of Halloween.
I will admit though that I like to watch some of the older Halloween-Michael Myers movies but even that scares the beejeepers out of me!
I am more of the fun, spooky sweet type of Halloween person and always remember the joy of decorating and celebrating Halloween with my kids!

How true! Love Halloween! 🎃

Today I have a really cool Halloween card to share!
This is the last one of the season.
It is made with the Tricky Treats set from 2004 and again I used a mix of old & new products on this!

Since my ghost paper has a bit of Highland Heather in it I decided to color the surrounding area around the ghost with my Highland Heather Stampin Blend Marker. It came out better than I expected!
I used more of the Black Glittered Ribbon and some Black Rhinestones to finish this off.

Card Details:

Stamps: Tricky Treats (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Basic Black, Highland Heather, Whisper White, Toil & Trouble DSP
Accessories: Black Rhinestones, Black Glittered Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Isn't it cute?
And just in time for Halloween!

A Batty Boo

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your week is going well so far!

I picked up my Halloween Treat Baskets the other day and i'm happy to report that I did pretty good this year!
The Chocolate Sticks seen here have sold and I had 2 left.
I'm not sure I will use them again though and will keep hoping that M&M's will bring the Halloween colors back!
The Reese's PB Pumpkins were not a good seller this year and i'm fine with that!
My gang loves them! LOL

So, today I have another Halloween card to share!
These were all mailed out last Friday so i'm hoping they soon arrive at their destinations!

This was a fun one to create.
It uses a really old SU set called Tricky Treats from 2004.

I stamped my image with Memento Black ink and then colored it with Stampin Blends.
The moon has a covering of Clear Wink of Stella on it so gives it some sparkle.
I need to remember to pull this set out next year and use it more!
It was a brand new set when I snagged it off of EBay a few years ago.

Card Details:

Stamps: Tricky Treats
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Basic Black,  Mango Melody, Whisper White, Toil & Trouble DSP
Accessories: Black Rhinestones, Silver Circle Clip, Black Glittered Ribbon, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card is a bit of old & new and makes for cute Halloween card!
Hope you like!

Happy BOO Day!

Hello & Happy Monday!

A late start to my day today.
I was up a bit too late last night and slept way too long this morning.
I never heard Shawn get up for work and the doggies never bothered me to get breakfast!
That's a very rare event around here! LOL

Today I have a cute Halloween card to share!
This was created using a bunch of things from my stash.
Take a peek...

Did you see that adorable Ghost?
He is a die that I snagged off of Ebay recently.
It is one of those thick black dies that Sizzix makes and I have been watching for one on there since summertime. I finally snagged one for $7.00 and $2.50 shipping! I thought it was a steal!

Anyways, I found a scrap of this paper in my Halloween paper folder (which I have no idea the maker) and added my Happy Boo sentiment from Stampin Up! I pulled the colors from the piece of patterned paper and that orange is retired Tangelo Twist from a few years ago. That piece was embossed with a Darice Embossing Folder that I also grabbed a few years ago at the York Heirloom Stamp Show.

Card Details:

Stamps: Monster Munchies
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Basic Black, Tangelo Twist. Whisper White, unknown patterned paper
Accessories: Sizzix Ghost Die, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Darice EF., Black Rhinestone, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was squealing with delight when I made this one!
So many cute things on it, even my little ghost!
What I like most about it though is the texture that the embossing folder adds!

This card will make it's way to one of my friends mailboxes in the next day or too if it has not already arrived at it's destination!

Happy BOO Day! 👻

Hello & Happy Saturday!

A rainy, windy day is on tap here in PA.
We are getting another Nor'easter and we certainly could do without the rain!

Today I have a quick card to share for a Vet Technician who loves turtles.
This was a tough card to make but once I got started I was really happy with it!

My turtle is stamped with Memento Black and colored with Stampin Blends.
My sea grass is actually a jellyfish stamped upside down.
I read that trick on Pinterest!

Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Whisper White

Thanksgiving Card Set #3

Hello & Happy Friday!

The weekend is here although it will be a rainy, windy one.
A Nor-easter is headed up the east coast giving us another soaking rain,
Glad it won't be snow or we'd be in trouble!

Today I am back to sharing another pack of Thanksgiving cards that my customer ordered.
This card set is using the Country Home set from the Holiday Mini Catalog on pg. 43.

I wasn't quite sure on this particular sheet of DSP when I first saw it because of the Mint Macaron color but I loved the pumpkins that were in it!
I decided to put it to good use and let the paper do all the work!

Card Set Details:

Stamps: Country Home (sentiment)
Ink: Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Mint Macaron, Cajun Craze, Whisper White, Country Lane DSP
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Mint Macaron Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I really think it was the bow that won me over on this card!
I will always be a ribbon addict....incase you did not already know that! LOL
Another pack of pretty cards for my customer...Thank God she loved them!

Bring on the Presents Gift Card

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope your week is going well.

Today I am switching things up by moving on to a Christmas project.
I created a gift card holder using a set out of the Holiday Mini Catalog called Bring on the Presents on page 16.
My friend Deb recently left me borrow it so I stamped and diecut a bunch from this bundle.

Sorry the picture above is wonky.
But isn't that bow just the cutest?
I colored it and the rhinestone with a Shaded Spruce Stampin Blend Marker.
Those things are amazing!

Card Details:

Stamps: Bring on the Presents
Ink: Shaded Spruce, Shaded Spruce Stampin Blend
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Real Red, Whisper White, All is Bright DSP
Accessories: All the Presents Thinlits, Triple Banner Punch, Rhinestone, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This is a very fun set!
Thanks Deb for allowing me to ink it up!
Can't wait to play more with it before Christmas gets here.

Thanksgiving Card Set #2

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

The week is moving right along!

Today I am sharing my 2nd set of Thanksgiving cards that were part of a customer order.
She asked for something with acorns on and lucky for her I still had some scraps of DSP left that worked for these!

This set uses another retired stamp set with matching punch called Acorny Thank You.
I don't think I have used this set very much over the last few years so i'm happy to get it inky once again!

Card Set Details:

Stamps: Acorny Thank You, Pleasant Pheasants (sentiment)
Ink: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Whisper White, Color Me Autumn DSP (retired)

Today we are to get up in the low 60's and although the windows won't be open, I will be loving the sunshine!

My customer gave me her Thanksgiving order already!
She would like 4 packs of Thanksgiving so I immediately got to work on them.
As you know I have been trying to use up much of my older things and this set uses a pack of paper called Color Me Autumn DSP.

This is set #1.

I love giving my older things a second look.
We as demonstrators are always so focused on using new things to promote/sell them but there are times I just like to pull out the old stuff and breathe new life into them again!

Card Set Details:

Ink:  Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Color Me Autumn DSP (retired)

My thoughts today....

The trees in my area have not changed in color just yet but with the windy conditions we had over the weekend, they are starting to fall. They say peak color here in southern PA won't be until the first week of November.

That is all for today!
Thanks for stopping by & make it a great day!

It got mighty chilly yesterday and that wind was crazy!

Today my set of cards was made for a customer order.

My customer wanted a set of Fall Happy Birthday and I looked at this paper and it rang a bell.
So, I used it!

My cardstock is the retired More Mustard which I have used a ton of this Fall.
I had 2 unopened packs that I put a dent in!

Trick or Treat Boxes

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your enjoying your weekend.
Last evening the winds kicked up and then the heavy cold rain came!
Today it will feel more like winter than fall. I am SO NOT ready for winter!

I have 2 more Angie Juda boxes to share today!
These are going to my gang with some candy & a few bucks in for Halloween.

Here is the link to Angie's directions if your interested in making them.
They hold a good bit of stuff and are so easy to make!

I am not gonna list everything that was used for making these since most of it is retired.
Give them a try! You won't be disappointed!

My girls are off to doggy day spa this morning so I am going to make this a quick update.
Today's cards were made with some beautiful papers I found at L&L about a month ago.
It is made by Kaisercraft.

There is no stamping on these!
Everything on these is what is on the papers!
And that copper foil in it is gorgeous!

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Basic Black, Copper Foil
Accessories: Petal Pink Ribbon, Copper Cord, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These are so much prettier in real life than what they look here.
This is one of those examples of the paper doing all the work!
