Card #5

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

I am finally starting to feel normal again!
My sinus headache has eased up but I still feel like I could sleep the day away!
Yesterday it rained most of the day, maybe that is why I felt like sleeping.
Today I feel so much better!

I have the last card to share from my Stamp Day w Friends get together last Saturday.
I try to keep them simple and quick to put together and this one was probably the easiest one!

This one starts with a Shaded Spruce cardbase then a layer of Whisper White that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Tasteful Textile 3D EF. You all know it's my favorite embossing folder!
Next another layer of Shaded Spruce cardstock and 2 different prints of paper from the Forever Greenry DSP. My sentiment is from the Heal Your Heart SaleABration stamp set that is now retired. I stamped it with Shaded Spruce ink onto a Square Layering Framelit and layered with a Scalloped Square Layering Framelit. I added some Whisper White retired ribbon & bow.
Lastly, I popped up my sentiment panel with 4 Mini Dimensionals and called this one done.
I love that Stampin Up! gives us such pretty papers that we can let it do all the work!

Card Details:

Stamps: Heal Your Heart (retired SAB 21)
Ink: Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Whisper White, Forever Greenry DSP
Accessories: Square Layering Framelits, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Whisper White Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Card #4

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

A rainy day is on tap here today!
We've had a nice run on sunshine and warm temps the last several days but we need the rain.
I'm still dealing with my sinus headache so I plan to get out the Neti Pot to see if that will help!

I have card #4 from my Stamp Day w/ Friends get together to share.
This one we used the Art Gallery set from the 2021 January - June Mini Catalog.

This card uses the 2019=2021 In Color, Purple Posy that will be retiring next month.
It is our lightest shade of purple and a pretty one but a color I hardly ever reached for.

Card Details:

Stamps: Art Gallery
Ink: Old Olive, Purple Posy, Highland Heather
Cardstock: Purple Posy, Highland Heather, Whisper White, Purple Posy DSP (retired)
Accessories: Ornate Layers Dies, Floral Gallery Dies, Ornate Garden Ribbon Pack, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I am going to keep this short again today and head back to bed.
I wanted to stamp today but that can wait until another day!

Card #2

Hello & Happy Monday!

We've had a beautiful weekend here in PA!
Unfortunately, I think I am coming down with a cold.
Yesterday we did get the bikes out for a short bike ride. Shawn wanted to ride farther but my legs were feeling like spaghetti and my head was pounding. We got 3 miles in and will try again this week to maybe go farther. The trail was crazy busy! 2 people stopped right in front of me and I about lost my mind! You can tell I am a bit irritable with this sinus crap! I came home and took a short nap but still have the sinus headache!

Today is my cleaning day so I am going to get right to sharing card #2 from Saturday's get together.
We used the Healing Hugs stamp set and I paired it with some Hydrangea Hill DSP.

Everyone needs Get Well cards and this one is sure to cheer up anyone under the weather!
I love the prints in the Hydrangea Hill DSP and all those pretty purples!
This is actually the first time I opened the pack. You will love it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Healing Hugs
Ink: Gorgeous Grape
Cardstock: Gorgeous Grape, Whisper White, Hydrangea Hill DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon, Rhinestones, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Deb was feeling a bit under the weather (with a cold of her own) but she said she loved all the cards we made! That makes me smile!

Springtime Joy Bunny Card

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Today I am sharing card #1 from yesterday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together!
I have been working on all occasion cards for the girls but wanted to sneak in an Easter card for them to use. I used my much loved & much used Springtime Joy stamp set for this one!

I paired this sweet image with some of last year's SaleABration Coordinations Pleased As Punch DSP.
I love the springtime colors in it!
We started off with a Costal Cabana cardbase then a layer of Whisper White cardstock that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Painted Texture 3D EF. This is another amazing folder that brings lots of texture to your card!
Next I used a layer of Blushing Bride cardstock and layered a piece of Pleased As Punch DSP on top of it.
We stamped our bunny & flowers image on Whisper White cardstock with Memento Black ink.
I diecut that with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. Then used a Daffodil Delight Scalloped Circle Layering Die to lay under our stamped image.
Next we colored the bunny & flower with Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party & Crumb Cake Stampin Blends.
Next we stamped our sentiment on Whisper White cardstock with Coastal Cabana ink and diecut that from the Stitched Rectangle Framelits.
Lastly, we added the 2 retired Glittered Daffodil Delight Enamel Dots and a Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon bow.

Card Details:

Stamps: Springtime Joy
Ink: Memento Black, Coastal Cabana, Stampin Blends- Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party & Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Blushing Bride, Daffodil Delight, Pleased As Punch DSP (retired)
Accessories: Painted Texture 3D EF, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Daffodil Delight Glittered Enamel Dots (retired), Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The girls loved making this one and loved the springy colors!
It was a great day and what a way to welcome the 1st day of Spring!
Hope you like this card, too!

My thoughts today...

Indeed it is!
We are looking at 65 degrees today!
We may even get out for our 1st bike ride of the season as long as it's not too windy out!
Hope you can take advantage of the warm sunshine today, too!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Acetate Boxes for Easter Treats

 Good Morning & Happy Friday!

It's a cold, windy morning here after a day of rain yesterday!
It was the perfect day to nap which I did not do.
I got my downstairs ready for my Stamp Day w Friends get together for Saturday.
Today I am working on laundry and hoping to grab a short nap since I did not sleep good last night.
I'm already on my 2nd cup of coffee and i'm thinking I may need more!

Have you seen the 3 1/8  Acetate Card Boxes in the Stampin Up! Annual Catalog?
They are on page 152 and sell 10 boxes for $6.00.
I have not used these for the small cards but I have used them quite a few times in the last year for treat boxes. Easter is no different as I made 18 of these for my customers treat order.
I simply colored up some of those adorable lambs from the Springtime Joy stamp set and used up some retired gingham papers!

My boxes are filled with 4 Bite Sized Kit Kats.
The outside is decorated with a Scalloped Square in different cardstock colors then I diecut a Square using the same set of Framelits in the matching Gingham DSP colors.
Next I diecut another layer of cardstock with the Tasteful Labels Dies and I ran those panels thru the Big Shot with my very loved Tasteful Textile 3D EF for added texture.
The next layer is the Scalloped Circle and then the Whisper White layer that has the lamb stamped on.
I colored those images with Stampin Blends.
I stamped my sentiment in coordinating colored ink on Whisper White and punched it out with the Classic Label Punch and attached it with Mini Dimensionals.
Lastly, I added a matching bow with a glue dot and some big rhinestones.

Project Details:

Stamps: Springtime Joy, You're Inspiring (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends, Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green, Whisper White, Various Gingham DSP (retired)
Accessories: Square Layering Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Tasteful Labels Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Classic Label Punch, Various Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Adhesive Foam Sheets, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were so much fun to make and my card lady just loved them!
If your looking for a quick treat, these boxes are perfect for that!
I really like the size of them and it doesn't take a whole lot of candy to fill them!
My card lady wanted these to lay on each person's table setting for their Easter dinner and I bet she will get lots of big smiles from her family!

That is all for me today!

Daffodil Note Cards

Hello & Happy Thursday from a very rainy, dreary Pennsylvania!

I won't complain as we could really use the rain!
I got my big card order all finished and delivered yesterday to my card lady and she was grateful for all the cards & treats! She loved it all! Only thing that she was upset about is that she forgot to order birthday cards! I told her to let me know what she needed and I would get them to her next week! I always have extra's on my card rack that I can take to her so it's not a problem!

One of the packs of cards she specifically asked for was some note cards.
She uses these for any occasion that might pop up that she does not have a card for.
And she wanted daffodils on them! Since Stampin Up! has nothing current with daffodils I pulled out my retired You're Inspiring stamp set and colored up all those pretty flowers. My hands were not happy but we got it done!

Lots of layers on these but they were fun to create except for all that coloring!
I started with a Bumble Bee cardbase then another layer of Bumble Bee cardstock that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Tasteful Textile 3D EF. I know your probably thinking....is that the only embossing folder you own! LOL It is my absolute favorite as it adds nice texture to my cards with out it standing out too much or bulking up my cards.
Next I added a layer of Ornate Gardens DSP and then a piece of Basic White cardstock that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Ornate Layers Dies. I love how these diecuts stand out and all the intricate shapes.
Next I stamped my daffodil images on Basic White cardstock with Memento Black in and colored with Stampin Blends. I diecut them out with the Oval Layering Framelits and layered them onto a Bumble Bee Scalloped Oval Framelit that I popped up with Dimensionals.
Lastly, I added my Bumble Bee Gingham Ribbon bow with glue dots and finished them up!

In case you noticed, I finally used the last package of Whisper White cardstock on my cards yesterday and moved on to the Basic White cardstock. I honestly could not tell a difference between the 2. Both diecut nicely and both do very well with coloring with the Stampin Blends.

Card Details:

Stamps: You're Inspiring
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Bumble Bee, Basic White, Ornate Gardens DSP
Accessories: Ornate Layers Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Oval Layering Framelits, Bumble Bee Gingham Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This set took while to complete with all the stuff I had to run thru the Big Shot but they turned out pretty nice! Very pleased with them!

My thoughts today...

I won't be playing in the puddles today but I will be catching my breathe after a few weeks of working on Easter treats and a big card order!
How do you spend a rainy day?

Thanks for stopping by & have an amazing day!

Thank You Cards

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today I have a pretty set of Thank You cards for my card lady!
She asked for some flowers since the first day of Spring is Saturday.

I started with a Thick Whisper White cardbase that I covered with a piece of Flowers For Every Season DSP. Then I stamped my sentiment from Peaceful Moments on Whisper White cardstock with Magenta Madness ink. I diecut it out with the Stitched Rectangle Framelits and I added a Magenta Madness Enamel Dot to each card to finish them!
Perfect for Spring!

Card Details:

Stamps: Peaceful Moments
Ink: Magenta Madness
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Flowers For Every Season DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Magenta Madness Enamel Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were simple to whip up since the DSP does all the work!

Timeless Tulips

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I am sharing another set of cards that my card lady requested for Spring.
Tulips with the Thinking of You sentiment! Done!

Aren't they pretty?!

I started with a Daffodil Delight cardbase then another layer of Daffodil Delight that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Tasteful Textile 3D EF. I really like the texture that this embossing folder gives!
My next layer is a small scrap of Daffodil Delight Gingham DSP from the Gingham Gala DSP which is retired. I adhered that DSP to my layer of Whisper White that was run thru the Big Shot with the Nature's Thoughts Dies. It has such pretty stitching around it! I stamped that panel with the stems and leaves from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink. On Whisper White scraps I stamped my tulips in Daffodil Delight ink and punched it out with the coordinating Tulip Builder Punch.
I stamped my sentiment from the Happy Thoughts stamp set which is from the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog and diecut it out with the Circle Layering Framelits.  I popped my sentiment up with Dimensionals and added some rhinestones for sparkle to finish them up!

Card Details:

Stamps: Timeless Tulips, Happy Thoughts (Million Dollar Achiever Set)
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Gingham Gala DSP (retired)
Accessories: Nature's Thoughts Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Tulip Builder Punch, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope you like these as much as I do!
They definitely scream Spring!

Bunnies & Butterflies

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a nice weekend!
Our weather yesterday was very windy so we just stayed put at home and cleaned up the garage.
It needed it badly!

Today I have a set of cards that I made for my card lady.
She requested bunnies & butterflies with no saying.
Thankfully, the Springtime Joy stamp set has bunnies & butterflies!

I'm sure by now your tired of seeing these bunny & lamb projects but I promise you that I am just about done sharing them! This stamp set has some adorable spring images in it and to be honest, they just make me smile!

I started these cards with a Petal Pink cardbase that I used a layer of Pleased As Punch DSP on.
Just a reminder that the Pleased As Punch DSP is retired and leftover from last year.
It has such pretty spring colors in it and i'd really like to get this pack of paper used up!
I then took a piece of the rainbow colored paper and added it over the Petal Pink DSP.
That piece measures 1 1/4 x 4 3/4.
It brings a splash of pretty colors to my card!
I stamped my images in Memento Black ink and colored my images with Stampin Blends to match my rainbow colored DSP.
Lastly, I added a bow with the Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon.
I kept these cards flat for easy mailing.

Card Details:

Stamps: Springtime Joy
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Pleased As Punch DSP (SAB Coordinates-retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The 1st day of Spring is only a few days away and these cards will be a nice way to make someone's day!

Easter M&M Sticks

Hello & Happy Sunday!

I hope your having a nice weekend!
Yesterday I had a surprise phone call from my best friend, Deb!
We chatted for about 2 hours so no stamping took place! LOL
Afterwards Shawn & I took a 3 mile walk at the Rail Trail.
It was pretty somber to say the least.
There were flowers on both sides of the bridge that takes you to the trail and people were hanging out on the bridge talking. They may have been friends or family of the young woman.
Such a sad thing...

Anyways, yesterday Shawn got the hitch and bike carrier put on the car and went over each bike to make sure they were ready to use. Today we may take them out for a quick spin.
I'm really excited for it and i'm sure my feet & ankles will be happy as well.
Walking takes a toll on my body for some reason but biking is what I love & enjoy very much!

So today I have my M&M Easter Sticks to share!
My card lady ordered 18 of them and this is what I made for her...

I tied my 1x8 cello bags shut with some retired White Baker's Twine.
My tags were made with the Springtime Joy stamp set and I stamped the bunny with Memento Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock and diecut them out with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I colored my bunny image with Stampin Blends so they would match the M&M's. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set.
I stamped it in Highland Heather ink and punched it out with the Classic Label Punch and attached it to my tags with Mini Dimensionals. Easy peasy!

Project Details:

Stamps: Springtime Joy, Itty Bitty Greetings
Ink: Memento Black, Highland Heather, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Whisper White
Accessories: Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Classic Label Punch, Hand Held Hole Punch (retired), White Baker's Twine (retired), Mini Dimensionals

Aren't they cute?
