Thinking of You at Christmas

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Today I have a pretty Christmas card to share with you using an old Inkadinkadoo stamp that has been in my collection for several years. This card will be going in the mail for our dear neighbor, Mr. Randy. He has been our neighbor for the last 14 years and about 3 weeks ago his wife passed away after battling Alzheimer's for several years. He was her caretaker and stayed by her side every single day. His family has been rallying around him and being their for support. I wanted him to know we are thinking of him as he goes into the holiday without her.

Card Details:

Stamps: Inkadinkadoo, Itty Bitty Christmas (retired)
Ink: Old Olive, Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Real Red, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Old Olive
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Branching Out Dies, Merry Melody 3D EF (retired), Gold Twine, Traditions Sparkling Sequins, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Everyday Arches Treat Holder

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

Happy Black Friday, too, if your one who shops on Black Friday here in the states. When our kids were little we use to go out shopping all day long to get the good deals on toys & such. I do not think we've gone out to shop now in over 20 years! There is just too much drama associated with that anymore! LOL My hubby is working today as it was a last minute change of plans at work so he volunteered to go in. I will finish getting my Christmas tree decorated today and I have 1 tote of decorations to dig out. I got a good jump start on it yesterday and it went quick with Shawn's help.

Today I am going to share with you another treat holder that I seen made from Cheryl Dorsey, another Stampin Up! demonstrator. She used the Everyday Arches Dies and created a box for treats. She used all the new holiday stamps & papers where mine are all retired products.

Project Details:

Stamps: Itty Bitty Christmas (retired)
Ink: Real Red, Garden Green
Cardstock: Garden Green, Basic White, Snowy Scenes DSP (retired 2024)
Accessories: Everyday Arches Dies, Snowy Wonder Dies (retired 2024), Pretty Pillow Box Dies (retired), Handheld Hole Punch (retired), Snowflake Gem (retired), White/ Silver Sheer Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made 10 of these because that was all I had left of those beautiful Snowflake Gems from many years ago and I wanted to use them up! I have already sold 6. There are 4 left to send to Audrey's. I filled these with a Twix Snowman Candy Bar and a Ghiradelli Milk Chocolate Caramel Snowman which is in the last picture.

I really loved how these turned out! Thanks to Cheryl for sharing her tutorial.
Hope you enjoyed these!

Forever Friends Kit Kat Treats

Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

Another busy day at the stamp table today! I have Audrey's card order halfway completed. Sunday I will finish it up so I can deliver it to her one evening next week. Well, I say that now because she calls everyday and adds more to it. LOL
Anyways, it's Day #4 of sharing my Christmas treats and today's treat is a yummy one!
Everyone loves Kit Kats and when I found these Santa shaped Kit Kats at Sam's I did not even think twice on buying them! Ryan especially loves Kit Kats and steals them from the candy bowl all the time! Check these out...

Project Details:

Stamps: Forever Friends Santa Bear, Itty Bitty Christmas (retired)
Ink: Garden Green, Memento Black, Copics
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White
Accessories: Hand Held Hole Punch, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Classic Label Punch, Cello Bags, Twine (Hobby Lobby), Glue Pen, Diamond Dust (AC Moore), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made 15 packs of these Santa Kit Kats which went pretty quick once I had the images colored & added the glitter. They are so sparkly in real life and so cute!

That's all for today! Time to get to work!

Christmas Pillow Boxes

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a nice weekend! It sure got COLD here!
I think winter has arrived, unfortunately.

Today I want to share with you some of the Christmas treats I made this year.
I found this pack of Pillow Boxes that came out earlier this year in the Spring Mini Catalog with the Bee Mine Suite. I never used them and since I am trying to clean out my drawers and use up things I decided to use these for treats this holiday.

Project Details:

Stamps: Snowy Wonder, Itty Bitty Christmas (retired)
Ink: Real Red, Garden Green, Memento Black, Real Red Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Basic White Real Red, Snowy Scenes DSP
Accessories: Snowy Wonder Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Classic Label Punch (retired), Star Enamel Dots (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My penguins were diecut from the DSP which makes things go much faster. I love having that option! Each pillow box is filled with 2 of those Festive Oreo Cookies that I found at Target. I made 10 of these.

So, Shawn has been on vacation since the Friday before Thanksgiving and today he went back to work. We did alot during his time off. Lots of shopping and lots of decorating. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner together and watched alot of Hallmark Christmas movies! I almost hated to send him back to work but life has to go back to normal, right?! Today is my cleaning day and my house majorly needs it! Ryan does his darndest to stay out of my way until I am done which I do appreciate. I will be happy when I can actually relax after all that!
I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving/weekend.

Let It Snow Fun Fold

Good Morning & Happy Monday!

Hope you had a nice weekend!
I spent most of that time working on my Christmas treats! I'm happy to say that they are very close to being done. Now i'm waiting on Audrey to get her card order to me for December so I can get them started. I also need to work on Christmas card kits for my stamp girls. I'm going to have them over in a few weeks to make some holiday cards and catch up with them before the holidays get too crazy!

Today I am sharing a set of those cool fun fold cards that I have been making like a crazy woman lately. I guess you could say that they are my new obsession. LOL I am using up the last bits & pieces of my 2019 pack of Stampin Up Let It Snow Specialty DSP. Each card in the set of 5 are different because of what scraps I had left. This was one of my most favorite papers!

Please excuse my hand in the bottom picture. I could not get the cards to lay flat to atleast get a decent picture.

Card Details:

Stamps: Itty Bitty Christmas (retired)
Ink: Real Red, Pool Party
Cardstock: Pool Party, Real Red, Basic White, Let It Snow Specialty DSP (retired)
Accessories: Wintery 3D EF (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Tailor Made Tags Dies, Red Rhinestones (retired), White & Silver Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

For being the last of my Let It Snow scraps I do love how each card turned out!
I really think it's the Pool Party, Real Red and Basic White colors that make this so pretty! And my snowman on each card was diecut directly from the DSP using the Tailor Made Tags Dies.

Today is my cleaning day so I guess I better get to it! A long day awaits!

Northern Hearts Celebrate the Season

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

It's a beautiful morning here in south central Pennsylvania!
The squirrels are out in full force today in both my front & back yards looking for the acorns and Miss Bailee is having a field day just watching them from the front door. Can you believe we are halfway thru September already? Time really does fly so much faster as we get older.

It's football Sunday here and i'm anxious to watch our 2nd game of the season this afternoon. We usually watch downstairs in the family room but we are in the process of getting new living room furniture and when the new stuff arrives we will take the current couch & chairs downstairs. Right now the family room has nothing in it as we got rid of that stuff at the landfill 2 weeks ago. We had to special order it because we wanted a different material/color and that takes about 10-12 weeks. I'm hoping about another month or so and it will arrive.

Today I have a set of Christmas cards to share with you.
Everything on this set is retired...

Card Details:

Stamps: Northern Hearts (retired), Itty Bitty Christmas (retired)
Ink: Real Red, Soft Suede (retired)
Cardstock: Real Red, Soft Suede (retired), Christmas Cocoa Specialty Paper (retired 2010)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, White Glittered Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I really did not have to do much work on these as the bows were already tied in my ribbon basket and the rhinestones were leftover from a very old Paper Pumpkin project.

Stamp Day w/ Friends Card #1

Hello & Welcome to a new week!

Mondays are always blah though aren't they? 2 weeks today is Christmas!
Hope your preparations are coming together.
We woke up to a couple inches of snow this morning and it's still snowing. The road we live on is covered so hopefully the main roads are not. A fresh coating of snow during the holiday season is just so pretty!
Today I have the 1st card from Saturday's Christmas Stamp Day.
I kept them all very simple this time and I think that helped to get them made quicker.

Card Details:

Stamps: Itty Bitty Christmas (retired)
Ink: Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Shaded Spruce, Basic White, Boughs of Holly DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Festive Pearls, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I had everything already diecut so the girls only had to stamp and assemble their cards.
Oh, and that beautiful poinsettia was cut from the DSP.

Let It Snow

 Hello & Happy Thursday, Everyone!

This week seems to be flying by!
Today I have a really cute card to share with you for my Christmas in July series.
I had to literally open the vault for this set....it's really old!
It's a Stampin Up set that was out in 1997!
I have always loved that snowman!

Card Details:

Stamps: Let It Snow (retired), Itty Bitty Christmas (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Mossy Meadow, Stampin Blends- Real Red, Mossy Meadow, Pumpkin Pie, Pool Party
Cardstock: Mossy Meadow, Real Red, Basic White, Heartwarming Hugs DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Stitched With Whimsy Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Real Red Sheer Ribbon (retired), Red Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I wish I would have decorated the inside a bit more but I was running out of time at my stamp table that day. I think today I might do that before I get started on something else.
It's going to be a very hot & humid day here so I plan to hibernate in my stamp room!

Update on my card lady....

I had a brief message from Audrey earlier this week.
She is healing nicely and will start her cancer treatments today.
She is anxious to get this overwith and the oncologist told her she will be undergoing treatments for the next year. I'm not sure how often as I have not spoke to her personally yet. She was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma cancer so, if you would, please say alittle prayer for her today in hopes all goes well. Thank You.

Sugar Sprinkled Treats

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today I have another sweet treat to share!
This one uses some leftover pieces from last years Christmas Treats that did not sell. Who knew that Candy Canes were not a good seller!
This is last year's Christmas Treat that I made.

And since I put alot of work into making those tags I thought i'd try to redo them and use on another project this year.

I cut the ends off of each tag and adhered them onto my cello bags with Dimensionals.
My cello bags measure 3x5 and I was able to get 6 Reese's PB Miniatures in each one. I put a small piece of scotch tape on them to hold the bags closed and so far out of 8....I only had 2 left. I sent those 2 to my card lady's house with the rest of my candy treats.

Project Details:

Stamps: Itty Bitty Christmas (retired), Gift Wrapped (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Mossy Meadow, Whisper White, Heartwarming Hugs DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Wrapped in Texture EF (retired), Bow Builder Punch (retired), Tasteful Labels Dies, Gold Cord, Jingle Bells (non SU), Real Red Sheer Ribbon, Cello Bags, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love the Gift Wrapped Bundle from last year!
I am thinking of pulling it out today to work on a few Gift Card Holders that I need for gifts this year. It seems I am always a last minute Lucy when it comes to getting my things done for Christmas! LOL Atleast I still have time, right?!

Christmas Slimline Card # 7

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope you having a fun weekend!
Yesterday I held my Christmas Stamp Day w Friends get together.
We had alot of fun and all the cards we made turned out awesome!
I will be sharing them later this week but for now I still have 2 Christmas slimline cards to share. My friend was so happy with them!

Here is card #7...

I still have a few pieces of this retired Let It Snow Specialty DSP left.
I made 2 cards with it and still have some left for future cards.
I love the colors in it!
Do you see that adorable snowman?
I diecut him out of the DSP using the Tailor Made Tags Dies and layer of Pool Party cardstock under it. I glued them together and added a big red sheer bow on it!
My sentiment came from the retired Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.
I stamped it with Real Red ink and diecut it with the Ornate Frames Dies.
And as always, I had to add some Red Rhinestones for even more sparkle!

Card Details:

Stamps: Itty Bitty Christmas (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Pool Party, Let It Snow Specialty DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tailor Made Tags Dies, Ornate Frames Dies, Real Red Sheer Ribbon, Red Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Hope you like it!

Thinking of You at Christmas

Hello & Happy Wednesday or Christmas Eve Eve!

Today I have a busy day in the kitchen preparing for Christmas!
The turkey is thawing and I need to make a Pumpkin Roll for dessert.
I also purchased a Pelmen's Cheesecake since it is something Ryan loves!
I also need to get my stuffing started and make some deviled eggs.
Busy, busy, busy!

How are your preparations going?

Today I am sharing a pack of Christmas cards I just made.
I'm trying hard to use up all my holiday papers so next year I can start fresh.
This pack is made from the Poinsettia Place DSP.

Card Details:

Stamps: Itty Bitty Christmas
Ink: Soft Suede
Cardstock: Garden Green, Whisper White, Gold Foil Paper, Poinsettia Place DSP
Accessories: Hippo & Friends Dies, Poinsettia Dies, Gilded Gems, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love that my poinsettia is diecut right from the Designer Series Paper!
It makes for some very quick cards!

I'm sure by now most of you are all caught up in the craziness of Christmas!
I have a free day today and thought i'd share a few cards I made for recent card orders.

You know I love mixing old things with new and these cards will show that.
I pulled out an old hostess set called Made from Scratch from 2005 and added it to some Plaid Tidings DSP! I have gone thru almost 3 packs of this paper! I love it so much!

I pulled the color of my leaves from the colors in the paper!
So pretty and my card lady just loved them!

Card Details:

Stamps: Made From Scratch (retired), Sentiment from a Paper Pumpkin Kit (retired)
Ink: Pretty Peacock, Cajun Craze, Bumble Bee
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Whisper White, Cajun Craze, Bumble Bee, Plaid Tidings DSP
Accessories: Square Layering Framelits, Classic Label Punch, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Now on to Christmas...

This pack is pretty much the same as the Thanksgiving set except for the colors in the paper!
