 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today is going to be an inky kind of day as I got all my chores done the last few days and i'm headed to my stamp table to play! I have been looking forward to this since Friday! LOL Saturday I was planning on it and then we did a quick trip to Sam's Club and it just never happened.
Last week Audrey gave me a few cards to work on for her next order. She requested 3 Congratulations cards for the 3 priest at her church. They are all celebrating different years at her church. This is card #2...

Card Details:

Priest Congratulations

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

I have been working on a card order for Audrey and the card I am sharing today is one she requested for a priest at her church. She requested 3 different cards for the 3 different priests so this is the first one I made. The other two I will share soon.

Card Details:

Stamps: Hope & Prayers (retired), Inspired Events (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Boho Blue, Basic White, Countryside Inn DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Boho Blue Ribbon (retired), Milky Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This was the first time I used the Hope & Prayers set and that little cross.
I like the size of it and if you have this set, it is full of nice sayings!

The Countryside Inn DSP has carried over from last year which I was happy about!

Congratulations

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Yesterday we had some wild weather and I mean wild!
It poured pretty much all day and then add in 50 mph winds! Every window in my house was soaked on the outside! Miss Bailee wasn't too sure what to make of it.

I got Audrey's card order all ready for delivery so I called her to see when would be a good time to get them to her. Her week was pretty much booked up so, of course, we went in the rain last evening. We hit 2 road closures due to wires being down but got there safely. She was so pleased and thanked me several times that we braved the weather to get them to her. The card I am sharing today is one of the cards that was included in her order. She asked for something with a cross on for one of the priests at her church that was celebrating 20 years. This is what I made for her...

Card Details:

Stamps: Something Fancy
Ink: Lost Lagoon
Cardstock: Lost Lagoon, Pool Party, Basic White, Inked Botanicals DSP
Accessories: Crosses of Hope Framelits (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Something Fancy Dies, Opaque Faceted Gems (SaleABRation 2024), Mini Dimensionals, Adhesive Sheets, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was so pleased with how this one turned out and I never get tired of using that cross die, it's beautiful! The colors are so pretty together, too!

Not much happening on my agenda today and let's hope the weather is a bit calmer.
I may hit the stamp table to try a new technique called Twisted Ribbon. I saw it last year and never got around to trying it. If I get a card made with it I will share it here tomorrow!

Grandma's House Congratulations

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I am off to the dentist first thing this morning to get my permanent crown put on. I will be so glad when this is done. Next week though I will be back for a cleaning then I am done for awhile. I'll be glad when I just have to go for cleanings every 6 months and no more dental work.
Today we are back to regular cards. No Christmas cards just yet anyways!
The card I am sharing today was made for Audrey's card order last week. Her great grandbaby was born last Monday and she wanted 2 cards for each of the the grandmothers. I wasn't quite sure what I was going to make for her. I went thru my baby selection of stamps and found this stamp set which was perfect but heck, I did not even know I had it! LOL It was never opened let alone used.

I don't remember ordering this set but so glad I did because it was perfect for what Audrey requested.

Card Details:

Stamps: Grandma's House (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Stamping Blends-Granny Apple Green, Petal Pink
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Basic White, Petal Pink DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched With Whimsy Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Tailor Made Tags Dies, Petal Pink Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was able to deliver Audrey's card order last Thursday and she was so pleased with these cards! I think her family has baby fever because now her granddaughter is due to have a baby at the end of the year! Lots of weddings happening, too!

Congratulations!

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday was such a gorgeous, sunny, warm day but I missed it all.
My dear hubby was home yesterday still dealing with pain so he went to the doctor.
After 2 hours at the doctor office, they sent him to the hospital for a CT Scan just to make sure we were dealing with a Kidney Stone and not his Diverticulitis.
We spent 3 hours sitting there while he drank contrast then got his test done.
They held us there until the findings could be sent to his doctor asap.
Turns out it is a Kidney Stone and not the Diverticulitis which was a good thing, I guess.
He isn't able to return to work until he passes it since he does not feel good with it.
Nauseated and running fever off & on so the doctor thought it best he stay put.
The stone itself is a large one but felt as though he could pass it with out any harsh measures.
Over the years Shawn has passed quite a few large ones so fingers crossed he will be ok with this one.

This morning I am off to a doctor appointment.
Just a 6 month check up then back home.
I hope to get some crafting time in!
Our weather is not suppose to be as lovely as yesterday since they are calling for showers.
Guess it will be a good day to stamp, right?!

I have a card to share today that I made for my card lady.
She has a friend that was moving into a small cottage and asked for something that would fit the bill.
This card was made last Fall so that is why I went with the Fall colors.

The little house image was from a Stampin Up set that I do not own.
I borrowed it from my BFF many years ago, Matter of fact, it was when I moved to Missouri that she left me take it with me. I stamped off some images and sent it back to her and that was almost 10 years ago! If I find the name I will add it to my description below!
The little house/cottage was perfect for what I needed it for. I diecut it and added a Pumpkin Pie Enamel Heart and an Old Olive Taffeta bow.
My sentiment comes from the First Frost stamp set which is still current.

Card Details:

Stamps: Stampin Up (not sure of the name), First Frost - sentiment
Ink: Old Olive, Crushed Curry
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Old Olive, Whisper White, Welcome Neighbor DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Pumpkin Pie Enamel Heart (retired), Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It did turn out rather cute and my card lady was pleased with it!

Bridal Shower Invite

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

I had a request from my customer to make a bridal shower card and she asked if I could make it close to what the invite looked like.
Here is the invite and I do want to tell you that I cut the bottom half off because it contained all the personal information.

And this is what I took from it.

I'm not sure on the little blue flowers.
On invite some of those leaves are in a darker almost blue color so that was why I added the little blue flowers. I'm not sure I will let it this way and may give this another try today.
Shawn said it looked fine.

Card Details:

Stamps: Painted Season's (leaves), Beautiful Bouquet (flower & saying)
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Night of Navy
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
Accessories: Pear Pizzazz Shimmer Ribbon, Small Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

What do you think?
Maybe I should just redo the leaves and let the little blue flowers off?
If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to let me a comment!

Congratulations

Hello & Happy Thursday!

They are saying one more day of this hot weather and a cold front is to come thru.
I am counting down the minutes!
So over running the AC and waiting patiently to be able to sleep with the windows open!
Yes, that's always music to my ears!

So, today I have a summery card to share.
I made this for on my card rack as I always try to think ahead of what any of my customers would want. Sometimes they need for a job promotion or an engagement.
This card could work for either occasion.

This is pretty simple and straight forward.
My sentiment comes from the Lilypad Lake stamp set.
The roses are colored with the Flirty Flamingo & Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends.

Card Details:

Stamps: Petal Palette, Lilypad Lake
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White, Flirty Flamingo DSP
Accessories: Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Yesterday I spent the afternoon at my stamp table finishing up a card order and working on Halloween Treats. I love this time of year with Fall & Halloween coming!
What is your favorite time of the year?

Treehouse Adventures

Hello & Happy Friday!

I realized it's been over a week since I last posted.
Ryan's sickness has me taking a back seat to doing any crafting.
He's been sick most of this week and in bed for the most part.
Finally the doctor called and got him some medicine to help with the nausea.
I feel so bad for him and the suffering he is going thru.
The doctor is still waiting on pending test results. This test is very involved and will tell the tale of what is going on with him. He is also set up to see a Gastro doctor next Tuesday.
I will be honest...I wish it was sooner!!
He looks terrible and completely exhausted and just not himself.
Whatever is making him sick I hope they find out soon because each & everyday I am growing more & more concerned about his overall health. Today it is 1 month since this all began.
We were told that yesterday (Thursday) or today (Friday) that the test results would be in.
My fingers are crossed that today we will know more!

Yesterday while he slept most of the afternoon I did pop down to my stamp table for maybe an hour or so. I wasn't sure where to start since my mojo has been completely zapped.
I started with using this week's Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge.
I also used Treehouse Adventures for a Congrats card.
Here is the sketch & my card.

I loved the dolphin in the inspiration picture but sadly I do not have a dolphin stamp.
Instead, I used the little house from the Treehouse Adventures set to create a card for a new home owner. The inside is blank to write a personal message.

Card Details:

Stamps: Treehouse Adventures, Itty Bitty Greetings
Ink: Blueberry Bushel, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, Crumb Cake DSP. Whisper White
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Triple Banner Punch, Up & Away Thinlits, Blueberry Bushel 1/8 Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dot, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

That is all I have for now.
If you could please say alittle prayer today for Ryan, it would be much appreciated.
Going to skip the "My thoughts today" since my thoughts are all over the place.

Thanks for stopping by...

Beautiful Day

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your week is off to a good start!

Yesterday was suppose to be my cleaning day but it ended up being a day I sat from 9 am till 10 pm last night putting together a puzzle that I started on Sunday afternoon.
I was determined to get this 1000 piece puzzle completed only to find that one piece was missing.
I picked it up at our local Goodwill store about a month or so ago and I loved the scene that was on it.
Shawn helped me wrap it up last night and by the time I was done I had such a pounding headache.
It's a beautiful puzzle but i'm sad that there is a piece missing.

Here is 2 pictures of the completed puzzle.

So today is a new day and i'm up early to get my housework done!
Yea, i'm not quite as chipper about that but it's one of those things that has to be done.
I do have a card to share today that I made last Friday.
It uses the Beautiful Day stamp set.

This set includes this pretty flower image and a lovely butterfly image with 2 sayings.
I have used the butterfly image many of times but this was the first time I used the flower.
I stamped it in Memento Black and colored my image in with my Lovely Lipstick, Granny Apple Green & Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends. They are just as wonderful as the Copic Markers!

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautiful Day, Lilypad Lake (saying)
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Lovely Lipstick, Whisper White, Lovely Lipstick DSP
Accessories: Rhinestones, Lovely Lipstick 1/8 Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Today I am expecting my Holiday Catalog preorder to arrive!
I'm excited about it especially since it was scheduled to arrive yesterday and it ended up in Baltimore!
How does that even happen!?

My thoughts today.....

Guess i'd better get to it!
Lots waiting on me.....

Thanks for stopping by & have yourself a great day!

Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hello & Happy Saturday!

We are in for some awesome weather this weekend....finally!
This morning we are going to load up the bikes and head to the rail trail for a nice bike ride!
Can ya tell I am excited for it?!

Today I have a card to share that I made yesterday for the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge.
They have some fun sketches every week so check them out & join in on the fun!

Here is the sketch and my card....

I pulled out a sheet of the Garden Impression DSP and used both sides of it to diecut the Stitched Squares out. My sentiment comes from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits and I used Night of Navy cardstock for that. I need some "Congratulations" cards for my card rack and this sketch came in hand just for that!

Card Details:

Stamp: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: So Saffron, Night of Navy, Melon Mambo, Garden Impressions DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Sunshine Wishes Thinlits, Melon Mambo & So Saffron Enamel Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The little butterfly is also in the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits!
It's cute, isn't it?
I added some Melon Mambo & So Saffron Enamel Dots to finish this off.
Awesome sketch, ladies!
