Card #3 Lighthouse Sympathy

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Where did the weekend go? It flew past so quick!

Today I have card #3 to share with you from Saturday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together.

I always try to incorporate a lighthouse into our "beachy/ocean" theme because Deb loves them!

I had all the bits & pieces cut and ready to go on this card so the girls just had to stamp and put their cards together. We got our cards done in less than 2 hours and then we sat and chatted for another hour! We always seem to have lots to talk about! :)

Island Vibes Thank You

The week is flying by!

Today the heat is on! 

We are suppose to get close to 100 degrees this afternoon.

I'm sure everyone's ac's will be working overtime!

I will be in the basement finishing up my card lady's order and staying cool!

Coffee & A Mystery Card Challenge

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

What a difference today is compared to yesterday.

Lots of blue skies and its a bit warmer too!

We got about 4 inches of snow which lasted all day.

It's melting nicely today and the rest of this coming week it is to be in the 50's & 60's which will melt this snow until it's gone! 

I hope this was our last snowfall as i'm ready for spring & flowers!

Today I have a set of cards to share that I made for another one of Kitchen Table Stampers Coffee & A Mystery Card Challenge. I love her style of stamping and the challenges that she does with her followers. This is the list of things we needed for Thursday's Challenge...

I pulled out my Hand Penned stamp set and Hand Penned DSP and got my card started.

I need a pack of Thinking of You cards for my card lady so I decided to use this challenge to make that set.

I love those challenges and will try to play along when I can.

It definitely helps me to get out of my comfort zone and use colors I normally would not use.

With Sympathy

Hello & Happy Saturday, Everyone!

Hope your weekend is off to a good start!

I am off this morning for a haircut and grab a few groceries but before I go I want to share a set of cards made by request from my card lady!

She gave me a huge order this week and I have been working on them slowly.

For these I pulled out the package of Daffodil Afternoon DSP that is one of the SaleABRation offerings this time around. I'm not really crazy about this paper but i'm pushing myself to use it.

I kept these simple and left the paper do all the work!

My BeeBug Card

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

A cold Saturday is on tap here but the weather people are saying we are in for another warm up this week. My dogs go to Doggy Day Spa today and they are calling for snow squalls around mid day. I hope we don't have any issues going to pick them up later on!

I've got a really cute card to share today that I made using the Ladybug Builder Punch.

I turned my Ladybug into a Beebug!

Card Details:

Stamps: Special Moments (SAB 22)

Ink: Crushed Curry

Cardstock: Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Basic White, Vellum, Pattern Party DSP (Hostess)

Accessories: Ladybug Builder Punch, Ornate Frames Dies, Black Glittered Ribbon, Rhinestones, Vellum Tape, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

To make the Beebug I used some scrap pieces of Crushed Curry cardstock measuring 1/8 inch wide and layered them onto some scrap Basic Black cardstock then punched them out using the Ladybug Builder Punch. Then I took some scrap vellum and punched out the wings. I layered the wings on my Bee body with Vellum Tape which is something Stampin Up! does not carry. I got mine at a local stamp store. It's worth every cent since it does not show thru the vellum paper! Before I adhered the vellum on I took my bone folder and curled the wings up. That little thing really made my Beebug come to life! 

I hope you will give this a try!

This really was so much fun to create!

Thinking of You

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Friends!

I hope your having a nice weekend and staying warm!

We got our trip to Sam's Club done so i've been hibernating since.

Yesterday I even got all my ink pads re-inked and ready to be used!

Today it's laundry! Yea, it never ends!

I've got a pretty Thinking of You card to share today that I made.

This is going to a woman who has been in the hospital for a few weeks now with Covid.

I pray she pulls though and thought maybe a card would lift her spirits.

My fun fold card measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scoring at 1 1/4 & 4 1/4.

The 1 1/4 score gets folded outward.

Then decorate.

Ink: Fresh Freesia

Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Friendly Hello DSP (SAB 22)

Burrrrr, the winds today are really gusting, making it feel colder!

Shawn did a quick trip down to Maryland this morning.

I passed and stayed in nice & cozy!

My card that I am sharing today was made for a customer for her Stampin Up! order!

I always try to make a special card for each customer who places an order and send a little thank you gift with it. It lets them know how much I appreciate them ordering through me!

Another wonderful floral stamp set that I don't use very often.

While we are in the dreary, cold days of winter....these floral sets are bringing a bit of sunshine to my stamp room! I'll be using more florals in the days ahead since I need a few more Thank You cards for customers! Stay tuned!

All Things Fabulous

 Hello & Happy FriYAY!

I'm so glad the weekend is here!

Not much happening here other than a trip to Sam's Club. 

Yea, I know, really exciting! LOL

Yesterday, we had rain all day/night and most of the snow has melted.

As I type this, it's still raining.

Our temps hit 52 degrees overnight but as the day goes on those temps will drop to the 20's!

Here we go again with the cold, blustery weather.

I did not get dressed at all yesterday. It was so dreary, rainy & foggy out that I just took advantage of a PJ day! I stamped most of the afternoon.

This set of cards that I am sharing today is for my card lady.

I pulled out the set, All Things Fabulous, which hadn't been inked very much since i've had it.

Card Details:

Ink: Misty Moonlight, Pool Party, Granny Apple Green

Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Pale Papaya, Basic White, Pattern Party DSP

Accessories: Circle Layering Dies, Fabulous Florals Dies, Pool Party Sheer Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I had so much fun creating these with those funky pattern papers and stamping those gorgeous flowers! I diecut each & every piece and on the leaves I took my bone folder and curled them to give them a more natural look.

The Pool Party flowers are a 3 step stamping process where I had to stamp off and get darker to get that natural look. I love these and will not wait so long to use this set again!

Now to get them bagged in cello bags with envelopes and ready for my card lady!
