I ment to update earlier than this but the day got away from me.

My doggies went off to Doggy Day Spa this morning which pooped them out!

Then this afternoon my friends came over to help celebrate World Cardmaking Day!

 We made a total of 5 quick & simple cards.

We ended our World Cardmaking Day with some pizza and lots of laughs!

Case'd Myself

Hello & Happy Friday!

I made a card a few months back using the SaleABration set called Avant Garden. This became one of my favorite flower sets this year so I decided to case myself and make another card but using the new In Colors, Berry Burst & Powder Pink.

These colors look fabulous together!

Berry Burst reminds me of Marvelous Magenta from along time ago and Powder Pink reminds me of Blushing Bride.

I used the Delicate Details set for the lace across the bottom. That set is from this year's SaleABration  catalog, too. I added some small clear rhinestones on the lace under the Blushing Bride Baker's Twine.

Avant Garden Sympathy Set

Hello & Happy Friday!

It's a wash out here today! 

Lots & lots of rain that started around midnight and has been relentless!

I think our weekend will be somewhat of a dreary one.

So as I said in my previous posts, my customer, Audrey keeps me pretty busy creating cards for her. I started to work ahead on making card sets so that when she needs something I can just grab them off my little card rack and get them delivered to her.

This set is one I made this week using the retired SaleAbration 2017 set called Avant Garden.

It is a favorite of mine!!!

As you can see I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits for both my image & sentiment panels. 

I LOVE those things as it dresses up the ovals!

I snagged a package of Blooms & Bliss DSP off the Clearance Rack recently and also used the Metallic Silver Ribbon from SAB this past year. It all makes for one pretty set of cards!

Ink: Island Indigo, Mint Macaron

With Heartfelt Sympathy

Hello & Happy Friday!

Today I made a pack of Sympathy cards for my customer using the Avant Garden and the Delicate Details stamp set from SaleABration. These have become my favorite sets this year!

I went with Pacific Point & Soft Sky for my colors with the leaves done in Pear Pizzazz.

My customer loved the last pack I made her with the Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant & Pear Pizzazz colors.

With Heartfelt Sympathy Cards:

Stamps: Avant Garden, Delicate Details, Simply Sketched (sentiment)

Ink: Pacific Point, Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz

Cardstock: Pacific Point, Soft Sky, Whisper White

Accessories: Soft Sky 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, 2 Sided Tape

I really wanted to add a few rhinestones to each card but unfortunately I ran out so I will have to hit up Michael's soon!

Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Happy March 1st!

Today we are under the gun again for severe weather here in south central PA.

I'm a bit nervous after what happened Saturday.

Hopefully it won't be as bad.

Anyways, yesterday I found a sketch I wanted to use to make a card.

This is the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Once again I pulled out Avant Garden which is probably one of my favorite SAB sets this year!

I love the images & sentiment in the set.

I also went with these spring-y colors of Wisteria Wonder & Pear Pizzazz.

Wisteria Wonder is an odd color of purple. 

Sometimes I like the color and other times it just has an odd hue to it. 

It is SU's lightest shade of purple so I decided to give it a go!

Wish they would bring back Almost Amethyst or Lavender Lace.

They were pretty shades of purple!

It's Your Birthday!

Hello & Happy Thursday!

It's looking like a really nice day here in PA!

Temps are suppose to get close to 70 degrees which is normally unheard of in February!

I have a birthday card to share today that was so easy to create!

My strips of paper were 1 inch wide and adhered on an angle then the ends were snipped off.

I have been finding that I use the Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue for almost all my stamping anymore. Once in awhile I will reach for the 2 Sided Tape.

 What is your "go to" adhesive??

Avant Garden Case

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Wasn't yesterday's weather gorgeous?!

Shawn & I got out for a hike around supper time and got back to our car just as it started to get dark. The weather was mid 50's and the sun was shining brightly. Perfect day to get out and get some fresh air.

Before the walk I was at my stamp table and I saw this card in the SaleABration Catalog and decided to case it.

I was drawn to the colors and those pretty flowers and of course the cool design!
