Flight & Airy Sympathy

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!!!

Hope your day is going well!
I'm alittle late to post today and I do not have any excuses other than the day got away from me. I usually do it first thing in the morning but I got up and was doing things around the house and just forgot. We are expecting some light snow this afternoon into the evening and I just hope that it doesn't get too bad as I am doing a Sam's Club trip this evening. I have been putting it off for about a week! It also got really cold out which I am not a fan of. There most likely won't be any walks for Shawn & I until it warms up some. Low 20's for our high's is a bit unbearable to be outside in.
So, I have a card to share that I made for my friend's card order last month. I loved how easy this one was because the paper does all the work. I used a retired stamp set called Inspired Thoughts for the sentiment.

Card Details:

Stamps: Inspired Thoughts (retired)
Ink: Pecan Pie
Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Basic White, Flight & Airy DSP (retired-SAB 240
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Perennial Postage Dies, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Quick & easy because of the papers!
I love this pack of paper from last year's SaleABRation offerings and I must remember to use it more often.

My thoughts today...

I'm not excited about the snow today and I know they are calling for more on Sunday/Monday. I only love snow during the Christmas season because it just sets the feeling of the holidays. Today I can take it or leave it! What's your thoughts on snow?

Thanks for stopping by & enjoy the day!

Forever Fern Sympathy Card

Hello & Happy Saturday, Everyone!

Hope your weekend is off to a good start!
We are off to doggy day spa with Miss Bailee this morning. She really needs it!
Afterwards Ryan & Shawn are getting haircuts. I hope to do some stamping later in the day but that depends on whether Shawn wants to do something or not.

Today I am sharing a sympathy card I made.
I have never done a card like this before and the outcome was so pretty!

I started with a 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock.
I punched out a piece of copy paper using a 1 1/2 inch Circle Punch and put a small amount of Tombow Mono Adhesive on it and place it in the center. I started with the one leaf image and stamped it with Mossy Meadow ink. If you were looking at a clock I stamped my 1st leaf at 2, 4, 8 & 10. Then I took the 2nd leaf and stamped it in Night of Navy ink at 3, 6, 9 and 12. Then the 3rd leaf I stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink in between the other 2 inks. I kept it at just those 3 ink colors and did not want to over do it. After that I pulled off the circle copy paper and placed my sentiment there. I was pleased with how it turned out! I am thinking of doing a card like this with the stamp girls in some spring colors! I do think they would like it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Fern, Inspired Thoughts
Ink: Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Rich Razzleberry Enamel Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I also added some stamping on the inside to dress it up!
So pretty!

I have a few orders to be submitted this morning then I am off to my stamp table for the rest of the day. So much awaits me!

I wanted to share with you a set of Sympathy cards I made a few weeks ago for Audrey.
She wanted something seasonal so I pulled out my very loved pack of Painted Christmas DSP. It came out in 2021 and carried over.

Ink: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Soft Succulent
Cardstock: Soft Succulent, Basic White, Soft Suede, Painted Christmas DSP
Accessories: Seasonal Layers Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Stylish Shapes Dies, In Color Jewels (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Christmas Season is one of my favorite holiday/winter stamp sets so I was thrilled to use it again for this set of Sympathy cards.

Heartfelt Sympathy

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

I've been working on a card order the last few days!
It's the first one of the new year.
It's not a big one but i'm completely ok with that so I don't do more harm than good on my hands.
This first set is a sympathy card that I had tucked away, all prepared for a Stamp Day get together that I decided to put together and use for this order instead.
Everything was already cut and embossed....all I had to do was stamp and adhere together.

I love pulling out a mix of stamp sets and using them to create cards!
It doesn't matter whether they are brand new or retired, they all work beautifully!
My tree image comes from a retired set called Thoughts & Prayers.
It's a great set for Sympathy and Get Well cards. This set is a wood mounted set from a few years ago with a nice array of sentiments for inside & outside of your card.
The sentiment I used here is from the current set called Inspired Thoughts.
Another great set full of sentiments.

Card Details:

Stamps: Thoughts & Prayers (retired), Inspired Thoughts
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Mossy Meadow, Basic White, Dandy Garden DSP (retired)
Accessories: Painted Texture 3D EF, Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Oval Layering Framelits, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I think these are just right for this time of year and the best part, they will not require extra postage to mail out.

Great advice and one I always say to Shawn.....Be in the Moment!
Now, if I could just find a Rae Dunn coffee cup with this on.....I would get it for him to remind him every day!

Thanks for stopping by & have an amazing day!

Gorgeous Leaves Thank You

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving day!
It was so busy here that I forgot to come back to update on Friday!
Kelsey & Shady came over right before the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade started so we had a chance to sit & watch together.
Then the dog show came on right after which is always fun to watch.
Of course, we all have our picks as to who should be the "best in show"!
They were all beautiful dogs, weren't they?!
We ate dinner just shortly after the dog show started then we got everything cleaned up. We all took a quick nap, walked the 3 dogs around the yard then tore out all things Christmas! I worked on putting things in there spots for as long as my feet would take it. Kelsey helped a good bit decorating my kitchen. Shawn, well, he just brought the totes up from the basement and watched. LOL
Yesterday we finished up which took just about all day!
The tree is up & decorated and all the ceramic Christmas trees are out.
This year I hung small wreaths on my kitchen cabinets which I have never done before and it looks so nice! I am glad it's done!

Today I am sharing a set of cards I made for my card lady and forgot to share them here. She loves her Thank You cards!

I thought I had already shared these but I could not find them.
These were perfect for the Fall season.

Card Details:

Stamps: Inspired Thoughts, Gorgeous Leaves
Ink: Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Rich Razzleberry, Basic White, Plaid Tidings DSP (retired)
Accessories: Timeworn Type 3D EF, Circle Layering Framelits, Intricate Leaves Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Gold Metallic Pearls, Gold Twine, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Today I am doing laundry and I need to pop out to grab a few groceries for the week. Ryan's birthday is this coming week so I need to get a card made for him.
I kept asking what he wanted for his birthday and he said nothing.
I will put money in a card so he can shop for himself when he wants something!

Inspired Thoughts Fall Cards

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

Hope your weekend is off to a good start!
The weekend is suppose to be dreary with rain showers.
This morning I have to run to the Post Office then a quick trip to the grocery store. I really want to sit and do some stamping once that chore it done!
What better to do on a weekend when it's rainy and no other plans on the agenda!

I do have a set of Fall themed Thank You cards to share that was part of my card lady's last order. She sends lots & lots of cards, especially Thank You cards.

This particular piece of DSP is from the Beauty of the Earth DSP pack.
I loved the colors & different leaf prints in the sheet.
It is very busy so I just added a sentiment and called these done.

My cardbase is Cinnamon Cider which is an excellent Fall color!
Then a layer of the Beauty of the Earth DSP.
Next I diecut some Stitched Rectangle Framelits and stamped my sentiment from Inspired Thoughts stamp set using Cinnamon Cider ink.
I kept these simple and only added one Champagne Rhinestone to each sentiment panel.
I was pleased with them and so was my card lady!

Card Details:

Stamps: Inspired Thoughts
Ink: Cinnamon Cider
Cardstock: Cinnamon Cider, Basic White, Beauty of the Earth DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Champagne Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Nature's Harvest Sympathy Set

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

It's finally football Sunday for us!
I know the season started last week and our Ravens played Monday Night Football but it was on too late and of course us old people are in bed by 9pm!
The Ravens are playing today so i'm thrilled to be able to see the whole game even though i'm 95% sure they are going to lose to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Anyways, I have one last set of cards to share that I made for my card lady.
This set was kind of a case of a beautiful card I got from my friend, Vicki Burdick.
She makes amazing cards and I wanted to try my hand at casing her but obviously her coloring is the best around and mine doesn't even compare! Anyways, thank you, Vicki, for your beautiful card and the inspiration for this set!

Card Details:

Stamps: Nature's Harvest, Inspired Thoughts
Ink: Memento Black, Merry Merlot, Daffodil Delight & Old Olive Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Merry Merlot, Basic White, Beauty of the Earth DSP
Accessories: Harvest Dies, Timeworn Type 3D EF, Oval Layering Framelits, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love this set of cards!

Floating & Fluttering HB

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

The rain has arrived!
Let's hope it does not get as bad as they are anticipating.
Schools here are closed and we are expecting anywhere from 4-8 inches of rain.
It's going to be a great day if your a duck!

Today I have card # 4 from my recent Stamp Day w/ Friends.
I used the retired Floating & Fluttering stamp set.

Card Details:

Stamps: Floating & Fluttering (retired), Inspired Thoughts
Ink: Memento Black, Bermuda Bay, Stamping Blends- Bermuda Bay, Pool Party & Mint Macaron
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Basic White, Butterfly Bijou DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Bermuda Bay Ribbon (retired), Wink of Stella, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This was Miss Emily's favorite card!
Every time we get together she picks a favorite.
She said she loves butterflies and loved the colors of this!

Since it's going to be a rainy day, I am going downstairs to work on a big card order. I have a few cards to create then I will move on to finishing up Halloween goodies that I did not get to work on the other day. My back feels better today so that's a plus!
