Welcome Baby, Elena!

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

I wanted to share a card I made for Audrey on one of her recent orders.
She recently welcomed great grandchild #7 and she asked if I had time to create a personalized card for Elena. Since I already had the baby image colored and floating around in my drawer, I said I would make it. I pulled out some VERY old Stampin Up! DSP and got to work.

Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Friends, Oval Occasions (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Pretty in Pink, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Barely Banana (retired), Basic White, Candy DSP (retired 2003)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Mini Alphabet Dies (retired), Pretty in Pink Shimmer Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

All I had to do to create this card was diecut the image & sentiment panels and then use an adhesive sheet on a piece of Pretty in Pink cardstock to diecut the letters out for the name. Sweet & simple! She loved it!

Cookie Cutter Baby Card

Good Morning & Happy Monday, Friends!

I have a very busy day ahead so I am going to make this post quick!
I am sharing a baby card that I made way back in March of 2025 as part of an order for Audrey. I pulled out the retired Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set because it has an adorable bear in it which worked beautifully for this card.

Card Details:

Stamps: Cookie Cutter Christmas (retired 2016), Oval Occasions (retired)
Ink: Pecan Pie, Bashful Blue (retired)
Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Basic White, Delicate Dots DSP (retired 2009)
Accessories: Cookie Cutter Builder Punch (retired), Stitched Labels Framelits (retired), Dashing Designs 3D EF (retired), Bashful Blue Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This was such a fun card to create and it turned out so cute!

Baby Cards

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!
And welcome to a new month!

Today I just wanted to say that all is better in the Aungst Pad.
Miss Bailee finally decided around lunch time to eat. She didn't seem sick so maybe she sensed that Ryan & I are were not feeling good. Ryan looked so much better when he got up yesterday! His cough is sounding better, too, so I hope he's on the mend! And today I am feeling much better as well. The medicine they gave me for the Shingles is still giving me a headache but it's definitely working. My blisters have popped and are starting to scab up. Still hurts like the dickens but I think we are getting there and for that I am grateful that my doctor was on top of it. Speaking of my doctor, she is a Physician's Assistant but she is always very thorough and takes good care of me. I have a Thank You card here that I made for her that will be going out into the mail soon to her to let her know I appreciate all that she does for me and always goes above & beyond!

So let's get to my card....
My card rack has been lacking on baby cards. Audrey seems to buy them left & right and I do not make that type of card usually unless I am asked. I am also limited on baby stamps. Recently, I was at L&L Rubber Stamps and found this pretty baby paper that I picked up. It's so cute and I knew all I needed to do was add a sentiment to it to make quick cards. This is what I made so far with it...

Card Details:

Stamps: Punch Party (retired SAB 2021)
Ink: Pecan Pie, Night of Navy
Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Petal Pink, Night of Navy, Balmy Blue. Basic White, Echo Park (Baby on Board)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Petal Pink Low Profile Dots, Cloud Cover Muted Palette Dots, Petal Pink Scalloped Ribbon, Balmy Blue Sheer Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Quick & easy is what I was going for and they turned out super sweet!

Gender Reveal Party

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope your week is going well!
Today I have a card to show you that I made yesterday for Shawn's boss's wife.
She needed a card for a gender reveal party for Friday. I did a few searches looking for some idea's but nothing was found unless I printed something off the computer. So, I pulled all my baby sets out and started looking for things to create my card. Take a look...

Card Details:

Stamps: Something for Baby (retired), Verve Stamps- Practically Perfect
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Balmy Blue
Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Pretty in Pink, Balmy Blue, Basic White
Accessories: Baby's First Framelits (retired), Countryside Corners Dies, Cloudy Day EF (retired), Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Pretty in Pink & Balmy Blue Shimmer Gems, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was quite impressed once it was finished and the boss's wife loved it, too!
I suppose this is the reason I hang on to all my old retired stamps because you never know when your gonna need them!

Welcome Baby!

 Hello & Happy Tuesday, Friends!

Today I have the cutest baby card to share that I whipped up for my card rack. Audrey cleaned out my baby selection a few months ago so this was a long time in the making! A few weeks ago I had the retired Adorable Owls stamp set out and that is when I made this card.

Card Details:

Stamps: Adorable Owls (retired SAB 23), Love & Laughter (retired), Art Impressions (inside saying)
Ink: Memento Black, Coastal Cabana, Stampin Blends-Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Basic White, Dandy Designs DSP (retired SAB 23)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Eyelet 3D EF, Pool Party Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

On the front panel I used strips of the Dandy Designs DSP that were cut at 1/2 inch and layered them onto a piece of white cardstock then I trimmed it down to fit my panel. At the last minute I decided to make this into a fun fold card and added an inside saying from Art Impressions. That finished my card nicely!

Oh My Word Baby Boy

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Yesterday was a dreary rainy day with the same happening today which is fine with me.
Shawn got called into work this morning so I am going to take advantage of it and go to my stamp table to work on Audrey's cards.

Today I have another adorable baby card to share with you using the Oh My Word stamp set from many years ago! It was a Stampin Up! hostess set back in 2005. I used this set a few weeks ago on a baby girl card that Audrey requested. I looked on my card rack and I do not have many cards for a boy so I decided to make this to add to that spot. I do think this card has already sold as I do not remember seeing it the other day which is a good thing!

Card Details:

Stamps: Oh My Word (retired hostess 2005), Zoo Babies (retired)
Ink: Pool Party, Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Pool Party, Basic White, Twinkle Twinkle DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Pool Party Ribbon (retired), Night of Navy Enamel Dots (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal Adhesive

That's going to do it for me today!

Oh My Word

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

Another hot & very humid day is on tap here in the Northeast. I have been waving my white flag in hopes that we soon get a cool down! It's just been relentless!
Today is the 1st day of August and this is usually when the dog days of summer start but this year it started in June. I am keeping fingers crossed that we soon get some cooler weather or maybe some Fall weather will come early!
I have a cute baby card to share with you today! This was one Audrey requested on her last card order. I used 2 retired sets. I don't have a big selection of baby related stamps.

Card Details:

Stamps: Oh My Word (retired Hostess 2005), Zoo Babies (retired)
Ink: Petal Pink, Night of Navy
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Basic White, Twinkle Twinkle DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Adhesive Backed Hearts & Flowers (retired), Petal Pink Ribbon, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Stampin Seal Adhesive

Always SO much fun to pull out the old stuff and create with it!
Audrey requested a baby stroller and i'm glad I had something that fit her request!

Baby's 1st Thanksgiving

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

Yesterday we had a fun day out doing a little Christmas shopping. The weather was so delightful! Sunshine and 70 made for a beautiful day!

Today I am sharing 2 cards made for Audrey's 2 new great granddaughters that were born in the last few months. These cards are for Baby's 1st Thanksgiving and I used the Pick of the Patch bundle to make them.

Pick of the Patch was perfect for these cards with the different sized pumpkins. I printed out the sentiment on the computer and added it to the cards. This reminded me of making my own DSP which is always fun! She loved them!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pick of the Patch, Sentiment computer generated
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Basic White
Accessories: Scalloped Contour Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Stylish Shapes Dies, Linen Thread, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Today is another busy day!
Shawn is off again and has the water company coming in to replace our meter and also the furnace people to give our furnace a once over. He noticed last weekend the one gasket is leaking water so that needs to be looked at. I think we may get a couple rain showers this afternoon which we so badly need. I am going to make a pot of sausage potato soup for supper and do some laundry. Maybe sometime I can get to my stamp table to play a little but we will see.

Baby's 1st Halloween

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

For some reason I thought today was Friday!
Guess I am super anxious for the Christmas movies to start on the Hallmark Channel!
Even though I have Christmas on my mind I have a Halloween card to share with you today that Audrey requested for her great granddaughter that was born in July. She wanted something cutesy so again the Pick of the Patch worked great for this!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pick of the Patch, Sentiment was computer generated
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black Archival (retired), Cajun Craze, Pecan Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Cajun Craze, Them Bones DSP
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Pick of the Patch Builder Punch, Cajun Craze Enamel Dots (retired), Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card was quick & easy to make as I just used scraps from the DSP and my happy jacks were already stamped and put together. I just love this set and I hope that it carries over next year! I know that usually does not happen but I really like these happy jacks and the nice sentiments that come with it!

Yesterday I played a little bit with some Christmas sets and made a few treats holders. I will stop there since Christmas candy isn't out yet and I usually like my treat holders to match my candy. I also picked up a Halloween puzzle last weekend that I am dying to start!

Moon Baby Card

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your having a nice weekend!
Yesterday was much better than Friday, weather wise.
We had clouds most of the day and it stayed dry.
Today is to be another washout. I plan to get to my stamp table and do some stamping.
On Friday Shawn said he was having kidney stone pain.
If you know his story you know he's had them for the last 30 years. He's laid around mostly all weekend which is NOT good for passing those stones and trying to get him to drink water is like pulling teeth. Speaking of his tooth being pulled....it is healing nicely. Now we moved on to kidney stones. *sigh*  You just can't make this stuff up!

I have a baby card to share today that I made with Audrey's last card order...

Audrey just loves the baby images in the Moon Baby stamp set so she request a baby girl card to give to a family friend.

Card Details:

Stamps: Moon Baby (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Petal Pink, Stampin Blends-Petal Pink, Ivory, So Saffron
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Basic White, So Saffron, Country Gingham DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Tasteful Texture 3D EF (retired), Petal Pink Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Moon Baby always delivers a really cute card and it's a set that I will keep using!

Showers of Happiness

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

I hope your having a nice weekend so far!
Today we are to get sunshine and mid 50's! I'll take it!
We had snow yesterday but nothing that stuck which I am not gonna complain about.
Shawn did some work in the garage and hung 2 cabinets above my washer & dryer to keep stuff stored in (yes, my washer & dryer is in the garage). While he was doing that I tore my fridge apart and cleaned it down to the bare bones. It wasn't too bad since I just did it last summer but recently I purchased some clear storage bins to keep things a bit more organized and washed them up and put in the fridge. Now I hope it can stay a bit more organized!!

Last week Audrey ordered a baby shower card and she sent me the original invitation in the mail to see if I could make it the same as the invite. It was Winnie the Pooh and I told her I have not one stamp with Winne the Pooh. She said no problem to make whatever and for a baby boy. I pulled out my Moon Baby stamp set because it is pretty much the only baby set I have. This is what I made her...

Everything is retired on this card but it was so fun to pull it out to give it another play!

Card Details:

Stamps: Moon Baby
Ink: Bashful Blue (retired), Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Ivory, Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Bashful Blue (retired), Certainly Celery (retired), So Saffron (retired), Basic White, Just Delightful DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Basket Weave EF (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Even though it wasn't Winnie the Pooh she was still pleased with it!
It is cute!
