Christmas in April

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!
I was out yesterday and cleaned out one of the flower beds.
There is still one more and hopefully my hubby can do that one next weekend.

I woke up this morning with another UTI.
These are starting to be a real issue.
My doctors office is closed so I did not try to contact them.
I have some antibiotics and some AZO here that I started.
If it doesn't get any better in a day or so I will contact the office.
So for now, I am taking it easy with my heating pad & lots of water!

Today I have a card to share that I made with one of Debbie's online card classes.
These classes have been a blessing and i've enjoyed them!

This one was a Christmas card in April and it was made just like her sample.

I made some changes to it but it's pretty much just like her card.
And of course, you know that I love a fun fold style!

Card Details:

Stamps: Dashing Deer
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Whisper White, Pacific Point DSP
Accessories: Details Deer Thinlits, Quilt EF, Classic Label Punch, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I would have never thought to use Real Red and Pacific Point together for a Christmas card!
That is why I love her classes and she has a real knack for using different color combinations!
I will be sharing this one with my Stamp Girls once we can get together safely to stamp again!

Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hello & Happy Sunday!

I hope your all enjoying your weekend!
The weather here in PA is absolutely gorgeous!
I sure wish my hubby was feeling better because it's the perfect weather for bike riding!
He has been plagued this past week with tooth pain.
Friday they figured out it was the tooth he had a root canal done on in February of 2018.
He's had issues with it since and x-rays are not showing anything.
A specialist that he seen Friday afternoon said the tooth has a hairline crack in it and it needs to come out! Also gave him antibiotics & pain medicine but getting it filled at the pharmacy was another story! If all goes smoothly he will have the tooth removed on Tuesday.
Poor guy, I hated seeing him in so much pain! Toothache pain is the absolute worst!

Anyways, since my hubby slept the afternoon away yesterday I decided to go check out the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog and play along!

Here is the sketch and my card...

I have not made a single Christmas card since last year and felt this sketch would work well for one!
I dug thru paper and stamps until I found what I wanted to use!
Dashing Deer and the Detailed Deer Thinlits have carried over into the new catalog so that's what I went with. I love this deer stamped in Tranquil Tide!

Card Details:

Stamps: Dashing Deer
Ink: Tranquil Tide
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Tranquil Tide, Copper Foil, Whisper White, Joyous Noel DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Sprig Punch, White Pearl, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

A fun & easy sketch!

Dashing Deer HB

Hello & Happy Thursday!

The week is moving along quickly!

Today is the start of SaleABration and the Occasions Mini Catalog! WooHoo!
For every $50 you spend in products (before shipping & handling) you get to chose a free item from the SaleABration catalog! It's truly the most wonderful time of year (if your a stamper)!

I was hoping to have a new project to share with you today but I have not gotten down to my stamp room yet to create anything. I'm hoping today I will get to stamp!

I do have a set of cards to show that I made last month for my customer.
She usually asks for seasonal related cards. These were for birthdays and I paired it with that most adorable Detailed Deer Thinlit!
The stamp set, Dashing Deer & the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies have all carried over from the Holiday Catalog but you can no longer purchase them as a bundle.

Here are the birthday cards I made....

I paired this beautiful deer die up with some Gold Foil Paper.
I kept these simple as I wanted the Joyous Noel DSP & Detailed Deer to shine!

Card Details:

Stamps: Picture Perfect Birthday
Ink: Merry Merlot
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Merry Merlot, Tranquil Tide, Whisper White, Gold Foil Paper, Joyous Noel DSP (retired)
Accessories: Detailed Deer Thinlit Dies, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Classic Label Punch, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was really happy with this set as was my customer, too!
It's always good to use up the DSP that we tend to not want to cut into.
Sadly, this Joyous Noel DSP was out of stock early in the season and was no longer orderable.
I don't have much left which is a good thing!

That's all for now!

Hot Chocolate Totes

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your all having a great weekend!
I delivered all my goodies last evening to my customer!
I know what Santa feels like on Christmas Eve! LOL
It was SO nice to hand over all those goodies & cards to her.
We sat and went thru everything and she was so happy with it all, even the treats!
So many different things this year is what she kept telling me.
She was like a kid in a candy store!

Today I am sharing one of the treats I made this holiday season.
Hot Chocolate Totes.

I found these totes on Pinterest and found that Susan Campfield has a tutorial for them.
Here is a link if your interested...
I was going to fill these with candy but they would hold ALOT!
So, I decided to use these totes to put in a cocoa packet, a cello bag of marshmellows, some yummy chocolates & a candy cane.

Project Details:

Stamps: Festive Farmhouse, Dashing Deer, Yummy Little Christmas (retired)
Ink: Tranquil Tide, Night of Navy, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock:Gray Granite, Real Red, Night of Navy, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Copper Foil Paper, Festive Farmhouse DSP, Under the Mistletoe DSP, Joyous Noel DSP
Accessories: Detailed Deer Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Farmhouse Framelits, Various Twines, Cello Bags, Snowflake Trinkets (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurose Liquid Glue

I just love these and I hope my customers will too!
