Kelsey's Valentine Gifts

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

My hubby has the day off to go get his car inspected this morning then we are gonna take Kelsey out to run some errands.
I want to share with you the little gifts that I made for Kelsey for Valentine's Day that I will give her when I see her later.
Here is the card I made to go with her gifts...

All these gifts are made from Marisa's Valentine's Day tutorials that she shared over the last few weeks. I loved the variety and gifts she used and I wanted to try my hand at her tutorials!

I used last year's Hearts of Elegance Suite that is now retired. This suite of products were on the Online Exclusives list.

This box was Marisa's Bandana Box that I made but put a cute heart headband in it that I got from Amazon. It's so cute (got one for myself, too) with a big pink bow!

This box was Marisa's Gift Card Wallet Holder. Instead of putting in a gift card I made a little card that I tucked inside with a sweet message on it. The other side holds 3 Ghiradelli heart candies. Yummy!

This next box is her Lip Smacker Box. I have never made one of these types of boxes so I HAD to make one but first I had to get the Lip Smackers which I found at Target. This came together so easily and I love the outcome!!!

The last gift did not turn out like Marisa's Popcorn Seasoning Box. I got the wrong sized seasoning bottles and I added 3 packs of popcorn to it. I just slipped all of it into a cello bag and added a sweet tag to it so it would match the rest of the little gifts.

Hearts of Elegance Suite

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

Since today is Valentines Day I am sharing some projects that I made with the Hearts of Elegance suite. This suite is on the Online Exclusives list and oh my, is she a pretty one!
Of course, I am a sucker for a good Valentine's set even though I did not get to do too much with it this year I did manage a few things!
I did make a card for Shawn which I will share tomorrow since he does visit my blog occasionally and did not want to ruin the surprise. LOL

This is a card I played with last week and sent it out in the mail to Kelsey.

Card Details:

Stamps: Hearts of Elegance (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Basic White, Marbled Elegance DSP
Accessories: Hearts of Elegance Dies, Gold Shiny Sequins (retired), Gold Mesh Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I do not remember where the Gold Mesh Ribbon came from but it is Stampin Up!. A few years back they had a Silver Mesh Ribbon that was part of a Halloween suite. I love this mesh ribbon and so easy to work with it!

Now I have just a small sweet treat to share...

Project Details:

Stamps: Hearts of Elegance (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Basic White, Gold Foil
Accessories: Darice Cello Bags, Hearts of Elegance Dies, Dimensionals

I had just a small bag of the Caramel Ghiradelli Chocolates for Valentine's Day and made however many was in the bag (maybe 10). I have been handing these out to customers and today my family will each get one. I did not go crazy with the candy treats as I am usually always left with a ton of leftovers. These bags I picked up at L&L Stamps in Ephrata, PA years ago and they have been hanging out in my stash since. They were perfect for just this small size treat and the best part is they are sealable bags. Stampin Up! no longer carries any cello bags so it's time to use what's in my stash!

Do you have any special plans for Valentine's Day?
We usually do not do anything. In years past we've gone out to dinner maybe once or twice but usually Shawn cooks us a nice dinner. This year I suggested takeout from our favorite Thai place so he is going to pick it up on his way home from work. I don't need any flowers or chocolates....just a good dinner! LOL
However you spend your Valentine's Day, I hope it's nice!
