Beary Cute Stamp A Stack

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Today will be another day at the stamp table working on projects for Christmas. I never did start Audrey's order yesterday because I got side tracked by all the candy sitting on my table! LOL I made M&M Sticks and filled some of my other treat holders now that Christmas candy has made it's way to the shelves.
I have a set of Christmas cards to share today that I made from a Stamp A Stack class I bought last year and ran out of time to make them. Marisa over at Kitchen Table Stamper had these and I thought they were so cute. Here is my set...

Card Details:

Stamps: Beary Cute (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy, Real Red, Old Olive, Bashful Blue
Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Very Vanilla, Beary Christmas DSP (retired)
Accessories: Christmas Tidings EF (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Beary Cute Punch (retired), Rhinetones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have so much of this DSP left from my pack & the stamp a stack that I purchased so i'm sure you will see more of it in the future! It does have some great prints in it!

One Horse Open Sleigh SAS

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

Do you have any plans for the weekend?
It's to be another hot & humid day here in south central PA. We had a thunderstorm roll thru last evening which made it feel worse outside. Today & tomorrow is to be much of the same so I am trying to keep cool by getting ahead on Christmas cards!
Today I am sharing a card that is from the recent Stamp A Stack that I purchased from Kitchen Table Stamper. I sat last Saturday morning and put them together. I had ordered the One Horse Open Sleigh Bundle the beginning of July when the new Online Exclusives came out and then I seen she was going to do a Christmas in July Stamp A Stack! That was right up my alley! Beautiful cards and what fabulous designs!
Here is card #1 which I made 2 of...

Card Details:

Stamps: Horse & Sleigh, Sketched Plaid Background
Ink: Old Olive, Early Espresso, Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Gray Granite, Smoky Slate, Pecan Pie, Lost Lagoon
Cardstock: Old Olive, Lost Lagoon, Crumb Cake, Basic White, One Horse Open Sleigh DSP
Accessories: Timber 3D EF, Horse & Sleigh Dies, Festive Pearls, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have seen so many cool things made with this bundle and I realized that I did not have anything like this in my stash so I had to get it! I thought at one time I had a horse & sleigh set but after looking....sadly I did not. I am trying to be a bit more picky about my stamp selections since I do have so much. The horse & sleigh images are alot to color but I try not to do it all in one shot. Thanks again, Marisa...I just love how they turned out!

Stay tuned as I will have another Horse & Sleigh card to share tomorrow!

Yesterday, Kelsey & I finished up the Christmas puzzle I started on Wednesday.
It was so fun and I do enjoy doing them with her when she takes the time to help.
Here is the picture....

Shawn got me a big white board to lay on the table to help keep all my pieces together. It was a big help and when it was time to eat I just picked up the board and carried it to the living room. This puzzle was a 1000 pieces. I do have a 2000 piece puzzle that I have not opened yet. I hope it fits within my board! LOL I will probably pull that out closer to Fall.

That is all for today!

Yes we do!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day....stay cool, too!
I'll see you tomorrow!

Queen Bee SAS Card #3

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!!

Shawn took the day off and is headed out to go fishing for a bit.
They say it's to be in the 80's today with off & on sunshine and I was hoping maybe to get the porches power washed....we shall see.
Last evening I finally got Audrey's card order delivered and she was really happy with her cards. She already has a list started for her next order! She had lots of exciting news that is happening within her family....weddings & babies! She was so thrilled!

Today I have card #3 to share from the Queen Bee Stamp A Stack that I participated in last month. I already had all the supplies so I did not purchase the card packet. I made several changes to my cards from the original that Marisa from Kitchen Table Stamper did. I love her designs but made a few changes to make it my own.

The original card did not have the queen bee on it but I felt like I needed to have it on there since it was alot of empty space. And I don't know if you noticed but the bees wings are diecut from Queen Bee Dies with vellum. The vellum just adds so much interest on a card!

Card Details:

Stamps: Queen Bee
Ink: Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss
Cardstock: Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink, Basic White, Blackberry Bliss, Vellum, Favored Flowers DSP (retired SAB 23)
Accessories: Queen Bee Dies, Hives 3D EF, White Crinkle Ribbon, Champagne Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This Stamp A Stack was so much fun to participate in. It inspired me to create a card for one of my upcoming Stamp Day w/ Friends get togethers. Speaking of which, I have not scheduled any for May since there has been alot going on but hopefully in June I will see the girls and we'll get back to making some cards together!

Queen Bee SAS Card #2

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I have the 2nd card in the Queen Bee Stamp A Stack that I participated in last month. I changed up the design on this one just a wee bit...

I would have never thought to emboss vellum because I would be afraid it would crack but being that the Hives 3D EF did not crack it one bit....i'd say emboss that vellum! Each sheet I used for this Stamp A Stack held up nicely after being embossed.

Card Details:

Stamps: Queen Bee
Ink: Blackberry Bliss
Cardstock: Blackberry Bliss, Petal Pink, Basic White, Mossy Meadow, Vellum, Favored Flowers DSP (SAB 23 retired)
Accessories: Queen Bee Dies (retired), Hives 3D EF (retired), White Crinkle Ribbon, Champagne Rhinestones (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Tomorrow I have the last card from this Stamp A Stack to share.
Hope you will stop back!

I finished up Audrey's card order yesterday so today I will probably do some stamping for myself. I have a lunch box that I use for a Recipe Box that I want to redo with some different paper. It has gingerbread paper on right now but I want to change it. I'm so excited!

Queen Bee Birthday

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Can you believe that we are halfway thru the week!?

We celebrated Shawn's 55th birthday yesterday!
He wanted to go to Mission Barbeque for supper so that is what we did!
He loved his fishing birthday box that I made for him and I gave him money for his upcoming fishing trip he is going on with the guys from work. The kids gave him some pretty cool cards with money in as well. We ended the day with some Peach Cobbler that was dessert from Mission Barbeque. It was so good!

Today I am sharing a card made with the Queen Bee stamp set. This set came out in the 2023 January-April Stampin Up! Mini Catalog and they recently retired the dies and the stamp set is on the Online Exclusives list. Anyways, I participated in another of Kitchen Table Stampers Queen Bee Stamp A Stack about a month or so ago. This card is part of that Stamp A Stack...

Card Details:

Stamps: Queen Bee
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Fresh Freesia
Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Vellum, Favored Flowers DSP (SAB 23)
Accessories: Queen Bee Dies (retired), Hives 3D EF (retired), Champagne Rhinestones, Glue Dots, White Crinkle Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The inside says "Hope you have a bee-utiful day"!

I played along with the Stamp A Stack but I changed things up on all 3 cards.
The only things popped up here is my bee. Such a cute stamp set! I usually shy away from the bee stamp sets but this one was calling to me for some reason.
I will share card #2 tomorrow!

Taco Fiesta Stamp A Stack Card #3

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!
Happy Cinco de Mayo Day!!!

Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?
Miss Bailee has a dog grooming appointment tomorrow and other than that nothing happening here. Our weather has been so flip floppy with sunshine & rain so it's hard to plan anything outdoors. Still waiting on a sunny, warm weekend to power wash the porches and get them painted. Today I have card #3 to share with you from the Taco Fiesta Stamp A Stack that I have been playing along with over at the Kitchen Table Stamper.

This card design is totally different than what Marisa did on hers. I added the adorable cactus and sombrero to my circle panel along with the burrito, guacamole, chips and spicy peppers! Fussy cutting all the images out is too much for my hands so I only fussy cut the lime and the chips and popped them up with Mini Dimensionals.

Card Details:

Stamps: Taco Fiesta
Ink: Memento Black, Melon Mambo, Stampin Blends-Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Garden Green, Basic Black, Basic White, Enjoy The Journey DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Stylish Shapes Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I had so much fun playing along with the Stamp A Stack and her projects always inspire me to try new things!

Taco Fiesta Stamp A Stack Card #2

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

All went well at my dentist appointment yesterday and he determined that my old crown should hold up until July when they can get me in to replace the broken one. He kinda suspects that it may have been already cracked by the way it broke. It was a clean break and not jagged. They put me on the ASAP List incase of a cancellation they will call me. Still have to be cautious with it and nothing hard to eat. The reason they put me on the ASAP List is because they are so crazy busy since the other dentist left at the end of December and a new dentist does not start until July. I also looked back to when this tooth had the root canal and crown put on and it was in July of 2000. The broken crown was on for almost 23 years! Although in my gripes I would think crowns should last a lifetime!

This evening Shawn has his 6 month check up with his doctor. I finally got my results of my bloodwork from last week. She sent me my results and typed at the top....Test results look great! WooHoo! My A1C and Sugar Glucose has dropped and my Potassium level also improved. Was SO happy about that! I continue to keep myself away from taking diabetes meds and that is my goal!

Ok, enough on the chit chat....let's get to some stamping fun!
This is the 2nd card from The Kitchen Table Stamper's Taco Fiesta Stamp A Stack that she is sharing this week...

OMGosh, I just love the faces on the taco and avocado! Don't they make you smile?!
I did my Stamp A Stack a bit different than the original as I stamped some of the images directly on the Circle panel and fussy cut the taco and lime slice. Fussy cutting is not my thing so sometimes I do go the easy route. I put my sentiment on a Tailor Made Tags Die and added my ribbon. I also used Rhinestones on all my cards instead of the Iridescent Flat Pearls. So much fun!

Card Details:

Stamps: Taco Fiesta
Ink: Memento Black, Garden Green, Stampin Blends- Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Malon Mambo, Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Basic Black, Basic White, Enjoy The Journey DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Tomorrow I will share card # 3 which is perfect to end my Taco Fiesta celebration on Cinco de Mayo! I was going to suggest going out for Mexican for supper but after this past week of unexpected dentist/oral surgeon visits I think it's probably best to stay home and maybe try my hand at making our own fajita's!
I hope your enjoying the Taco Fiesta Stamp A Stack so far!
Big Thanks to Marisa for always sharing & inspiring everyone to be creative!

Taco Fiesta Stamp A Stack

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I am off to the dentist this afternoon so he can look at my broken crown and determine what is next. I have been babying it since last week so I hope I don't have to wait too long to get it replaced.

Last evening Shawn finally passed that dreaded kidney stone! He's passed a few big ones over the years and this one was a pretty decent size, too! Now let's hope that's it for awhile. He passed a smaller one about a month ago without any pain or issues.

So, this week Marisa over at Kitchen Table Stamper is doing a Stamp A Stack with the very fun Taco Fiesta stamp set. I am playing along and loving it so far! Here is card #1.

Card Details:

Stamps: Taco Fiesta (Million Dollar Achiever Set)
Ink: Memento Black, Mango Melody, Stampin Blends-Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Basic Black, Basic White, Enjoy The Journey DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Rhinestones, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Taco Fiesta was not on my radar when it first came out but I am glad that I eventually got it! It's such a fun set!

I changed up many things on these cards but kept the same focal image as the original.
My DSP strips measure 1 3/4 X 3 3/4.
Most everything was fussy cut which I am not good at and don't like to do because it hurts my hands but I managed to get it done. I love how they turned out and can't wait to show you the 2nd card tomorrow!
