Spruced Up Merry Christmas

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today I have another Christmas in July card to share with you!
This one is a semi case that I just loved and wanted to make since I already had all the supplies needed. These cards use the retired Spruced Up Bundle that was out in the 2022 Holiday Catalog.

Marisa from Kitchen Table Stamper made this card last year as part of her Shortcut Sketches Series that she does. This is Shortcut Sketch #2. I love how it showcases all the different strips of DSP.

Card Details:

Stamps: Spruced Up (retired), Framed & Festive (retired inside saying)
Ink: Pool Party, Garden Green, Real Red
Cardstock: Pool Party, Basic White, Sweetest Christmas DSP (retired)
Accessories: Spruced Up Outlines Dies (retired), Handmade Tag Punch, Whimsical Woodland 3D EF (retired), Pool Party Ribbon, Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I had so much fun making this set of cards!
I am getting quite the pile of holiday cards by using what I already have in my stash.
Who knows, maybe this year I will not have to purchase anything more!

Stamp Day Card #1

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a nice weekend!
It was very busy here so I am going to give my aching back and hands a rest for a few days before I start my housework this week. I feel like I have been going 100 mph the last few weeks and need to take a breather.

Today I am sharing a festive card from my Stamp Day w/ Friends get together from Saturday!

This one was pretty simple to do but adds a nice pop of sparkle with the retired glittered Shaded Spruce Glimmer Paper and the pretty iridescent Wonderful Snowflakes!
I had already run the Basic White panel thru the Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine using the Whimsical Woodland 3D EF so that was one step the girls did not have to do. I also diecut the glimmer paper and the circle ahead of time. It's hard to tell but the Shaded Spruce Glimmer Paper was diecut with the Labels Aglow Dies. They just had to stamp the sayings and adhere it all together.

Card Details:

Stamps: Brightest Glow
Ink: Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Basic White, Shaded Spruce Glimmer Paper (retired), Santa Express DSP
Accessories: Whimsical Woodland 3D EF, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Labels Aglow Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits,  Iridescent Rhinestones, Wonderful Snowflakes, White Glittered Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Miss Emily loved this card but it was not her favorite.
Tomorrow I will share card #2.

Here are the Gingerbread Cupcakes that Shawn picked up at a local bakery for my stamp get together. Gingerbreads are my thing!!!

They were SO good!

Christmas Scottie #3

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I hope that your week is off to a great start!
Yesterday I finally got my house all straightened up and cleaned so that means today I can get back to my craft table to get some card kits created for my next Stamp Day w/ Friends get together! I have so many idea's running thru my head.

Today I have the last Christmas Scottie card to share with you!
Thanks to Marisa at Kitchen Table Stamper for offering this online Stamp A Stack.
I made these cards for Kelsey to give her co workers and she just loves that little dog!

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas Scottie
Ink: Memento Black, Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce, Mint Macaron
Cardstock: Mint Macaron, Basic White, Santa Express DSP
Accessories: Whimsical Woodland 3D EF, Celebration Tags Dies, Scottie Dog Punch, Evening Evergreen Ribbon, Linen Thread, Jingle Bell Trinket, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Again on this card the dog, the presents and the ribbon images were all fussy cut and adhered with either Tombow or Dimensionals.

I also created an Acetate Card Box for the cards...

So adorable!

On this card the dog, string of ribbon & the presents were all fussy cut.

Sweet Candy Canes

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

I hope your all doing well and survived the Thanksgiving Day & Black Friday shopping!
Thanksgiving was low keyed but the food was so good!
My pumpkin pie was the highlight! YUM!
We worked most of Thanksgiving to get decorations out.
The kitchen is done and only yesterday did I get my Christmas tree up.
Shawn spent all day with Kelsey moving her home. Her lease was up at the apartment and she said she did not want to renew it. Her & Corey have decided to go there separate ways. This did not come to any surprise to us as she has talked about it for several months now.
Yesterday she took over the extra bedroom once again which was once her room. Her dog, Shady is doing pretty good with the change but Bailee isn't too happy to have him living here which I am sure in time will get better. He's a very high strung Jack Russell and she is complete opposite of that. I think in time Kelsey will find another place to move to that is close to her work so for the time being we are all adjusting to the change.
Today Shawn has to go into work for a bit to look at a machine while nothing is running. I will be putting the last few ceramic Christmas trees out and calling it a day!
Yesterday our power was out for a good while. There was an accident close by that took out a electrical pole. So this girl is beyond tired and may need a nap by early afternoon!

So, enough on the chit chat....let's get to some cards!

For these cards I used the Sweet Candy Cane bundle which was a pleasant surprise!
It was the first thing I ordered back in July from the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog.

These cards are the same except the sentiment was stamped in a different color and the ribbon was different.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweet Candy Canes
Ink: Real Red, Garden Green
Cardstock: Real Red, Garden Green, Basic White, Sweetest Christmas DSP
Accessories: Candy Canes Dies, Whimsical Woodland 3D EF, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Real Red & Garden Green Linen Ribbon, Red Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The candy canes were diecut from the Sweetest Christmas DSP which is a pretty pack of paper this year! I have used lots of it on cards & treats!

That looked like me yesterday dragging my artificial tree up the basement steps! LOL
It was no easy feat!

NEW! Framed Florets

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

We woke up today to some very windy, cold temps!
I think winter has come early this year!
We got all our chores done yesterday and I put a huge dent in my Christmas treats, too!
Today is football day for us! We haven't had a Sunday game in a few weeks so that in itself is a treat! I don't think I will be doing any crafting today.

Last week I sat one day and played with the New Framed Florets Suite that is an early release. It will also be in the new 2023 January-April Mini Catalog and is it ever pretty!
I wasn't really keen on another floral set but the sayings in the set sold me.
This card I made as a Thank You card for my customer that orders every month.

Card Details:

Stamps: Framed Florets
Ink: Evening Evergreen
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper, Ever Eden DSP (retired)
Accessories: Framed Florets Dies, Whimsical Woodland 3D EF, Gold Adhesive Backed Swirls, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Just a heads up that the paper I used on this is from last years Ever Eden DSP.
I have a whole pack of this paper and wanted to try and use it for some holiday cards this year. Stampin Up! always give us some beautiful prints on our paper packs, don't they?!

But let's talk about this new suite for a moment....

Stampin Up! has announced it will start naming the stamp set & coordinating dies the same name which is a blessing because it's always hard to remember the names of the dies that match a stamp set. I for one am happy about this change!

This suite also comes with a holiday stamp for a limited time. Framed & Festive is a winner in my book with wonderful sayings for Christmas projects & cards. It also has the same style of font as the Framed Florets stamp set.

In this suite is a pack of paper called Fitting Florets DSP but that is only available for a limited time as well. Not sure why Stampin Up! does not carry the DSP along with the stamp set but it will be going away when supplies are out.

Also in this suite is the Gold Adhesive Backed Swirls. These are so AMAZING! I used them on my card here today. They are flat and will not bulk up your cards. I just love them and they too are only available while supplies last.

The Framed Florets Bundle will be available thru the end of the upcoming mini catalog.
The Framed Florets Dies are AMAZING as well!
I think you will love it!
I certainly do!

Sweet Gingerbread #3 & Ceramic Christmas Trees

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

I hope your having a good week!

Today I have card #3 of the Sweet Gingerbread Card Kit to share with you!
I bought the card kit from Marisa at Kitchen Table Stamper and have enjoyed putting it together. I originally bought it for Kelsey & I to put together but I got anxious and went ahead and did it. She didn't care since it has been years & years since she last stamped with me.

I love the texture that the Whimsical Woodland 3D EF brings to these cards!
And the Sweetest Christmas DSP is the perfect choice to use with the gingerbread house.
Lots of diecutting but so worth it in the end!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweet Gingerbread, Handmade Wishes
Ink: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, So Saffron, Sweet Sorbet, Garden Green, Real Red, Pool Party
Cardstock: Garden Green, Basic White, Sweetest Christmas DSP
Accessories: Whimsical Woodland 3D EF, Gingerbread House Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Garden Green Linen Ribbon, Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This one is my favorite!

*************************************************

I promised that I would share the pictures of my ceramic Christmas trees that I started to put out downstairs before Halloween. It's quite the chore but atleast now the downstairs is done.

This table took the place of my tanning bed that once sat here. So glad Shawn got rid of it!
I adore this table and can fancy it up for any occasion! Above the table is my shelf that has my Rae Dunn Frosty stuff on! Still in shock that we found any of it because the Frosty line is hard to find stuff. I also dug out my little 3 ft artificial tree this year and put her up on a wooden crate and decorated her. She shines beautifully now!

On the Ravens side of the room is the fireplace and alot of my ceramic trees. I love sitting down here with a fire going in the fireplace watching a movie and having all of these trees lit up! It's a magical place come the holidays!

This shelf is wedged into a werid section of the basement below a small window.
I let this shelf up all year long because it is not easy to get out of this area. I also let these trees, houses, churches, and igloo's up all year long! I love sitting and looking at them!
My friends that come stamp with me are use to seeing this display out all year. Once the holidays come all I have to do is plug in the surge strip and enjoy!

This corner shelf I have had for years! I honestly think I got it years ago from S&H Green Stamps if you remember them. I let my little trees on here all year long as well. The Carolers at the top get put away and a lamp sits there during the year. The purple tree is a Holland Mold and my absolute favorite. This tree was a mish mash of colors and paints when I first got it. I decided to clean it, spray painted it with primer then spray painted it with a Purple gloss for the Ravens room. It turned out perfect!

The tree on my coffee table is not one that is electric but rather there are tapered candles that fit in each layer where the red bows are. I don't put them on the tree because they fall off as soon as the table gets bumped. This is a Marcia Ceramics Mold. We have not been able to find much info on this tree but I remember the day we purchased it from an older gentlemen at an antique store in Lancaster, PA. We told him it would be well loved in our collection!

This last picture is still a work in progress as I am still playing around with my little coffee/cocoa bar. The ceramic trees that sit on my dry sink stay out all year long as well. The ones on top of my "Shot Glass Cabinet" are all small trees with no lights or electric that I like to use in area's to fill in an open spot in the forest or where there are no outlets. Those small trees were found over the years at antique stores. On the dry sink are 2 small Holland trees that are my favorites! I think I own about 20 of them between downstairs & upstairs. The big tree in the middle is an Arnels Mold. I love this one and also own a white Mother of Pearl one that has Gold Tips and a music box. Absolutely beautiful trees!

That is all of my ceramic Christmas trees that I put out downstairs.
The week after Thanksgiving I will have more pictures to share of the ceramic Christmas trees that I put upstairs. I'm already pooped thinking about that chore! LOL
They are beautiful once done and all lit up!
They bring so much joy!

Sweet Gingerbread

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday was a beautiful day and I got all my housework done.
Shawn came home from work and got on the roof to clean the leaves out the rain gutters.
Glad that is done for now but the neighbors trees are still dropping leaves so I am sure he'll be doing that chore again! 2 years ago we had all our trees taken down so we did not have to deal with raking leaves but the neighbor has LOTS of trees in her yard and they fall and blow into our yard. *sigh*

Today I am sharing an adorable Christmas card using the Sweet Gingerbread bundle.
Gingerbread are my thing! My kitchen is done up with Gingers all year long!

A few weeks ago I purchased the Sweet Gingerbread card kit from Kitchen Table Stamper and as soon as they came I put them together.
Y'all know that I love all the projects that Marisa makes and she inspires me all the time so I had to get this kit!
This is the first card of 3 that I am sharing today...

I love these!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweet Gingerbread, Handmade Wishes
Ink: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Real Red, Sweet Sorbet
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Sweetest Christmas DSP
Accessories: Gingerbread House Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Whimsical Woodland 3D EF, Real Red Linen Ribbon, Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins, Glue Dots, Adhesive Sheets, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'll be back tomorrow to share card # 2 so please stop back!
