Happy Halloween!

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Happy Halloween, my friends!

Today I have a cute treat box to share with you that I made using the Tricks & Treats Dies. I like that the set of dies has this particular die in it to make a box! Once I had my boxes diecut, I glued them together and then decorated it with some Them Bones DSP. Take a look...

I found the individually wrapped Halloween Oreo cookies at Sam's Club back at the end of August. I know that Audrey loves giving these cookie out to the kids she knows! I also kept my packaging in the same colors to match the cookie wrapper.

Project Details:

Stamps: Tricks & Treats, Sentiment from Spooky Fun (retired)
Ink: Orchid Oasis, Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Orchid Oasis, Basic White, Them Bones DSP
Accessories: Tricks & Treats Dies, Classic Label Punch (retired), Nested Essentials Dies, Glow in the Dark Bats & Ghosts, Hand Held Hole Punch, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have sold 9 of these cookie totes! The last one I gave to Kelsey's manager at work for Halloween. She's been very helpful to Kelsey recently and she just loved the cookies!

And I was recently at Sam's Club and they now have the Christmas Oreo Cookies in the individual wrappers! Of course, I had to grab a box to decorate for Christmas!

Last evening we did not go to the parade as it was raining & got very windy but hopefully tonight we will be able to sit out to hand candy out to the trick or treaters!

Bag of Bones Kit Kats

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope that you all had a nice weekend!
We were so busy that it just fly by for me. I hope next weekend to catch my breath!
Tonight is the Red Lion Halloween Parade which we may try to go to if it's not raining.

Today I am sharing 1 of 2 of my candy treats that I made for Audrey. I picked up a bag of Halloween Kit Kats at the grocery store and loved that they matched the new Bag of Bones stamp set! This is what I made.

These turned out super cute!
The acetate boxes I already had on hand but they are retired. They are 3 1/8 x 3 1/8.
I wrapped a piece of Them Bones DSP around the box to help hold my tag on which I attached with 2 Dimensionals. The tag is from the Tailor Made Tags Dies. I stamped my skeleton on the tag in Basic Black Archival ink which is retired.

Project Details:

Stamps: Bag of Bones
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Highland Heather
Cardstock: Basic White, Highland Heather, Them Bones DSP
Accessories: Acetate Boxes (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Tailor Made Tags Dies, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Tomorrow I will have 1 more treat to share for Halloween!
So I hope you will stop back!

Saturday Night Out

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

I don't have anything stamp related to share today but wanted to share our Saturday Night out...

The concert was very loud but very nice! It took about 45 mins to an hour to get there. It is a music venue but not nearly as big as an arena or stadium. We had a table to start out then moved up in front of the stage once Paul Cauthen came on. Took alot of pictures & video's and had the best time! I liked that it was not huge and not crowed! Definitely would go again!

Paul Cauthen is a country music singer that has released 3 albums in recent years.
In my opinion he sounds just like Johnny Cash. Shawn's tattoo guy is the one who turned Shawn on to his music and of course I followed right behind.
It was almost 12:30 till we pulled into the garage this morning after dropping Kelsey off at her place. And this morning it feels like I have a hangover! LOL Glad it's a rainy day because I think I will be doing laundry and grabbing a nap in between! 1 am. bedtime is way late for me! But it was a good time and i'm glad I went!  Shawn must have thanked us a million times for going! I know he LOVED it!

Well, that is all I have to share today!
I'll be back tomorrow with something stamp related so I hope you will stop back!

A nap is definitely on my agenda today! LOL

Russell Stover Halloween Boxes

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

Looking like a beautiful day ahead here in PA! So far this morning we've had some brilliant sunshine and warm temps. Going to get to 80 later today!

Yesterday I did some stamping then Kelsey & Mr Shady did a surprise visit! I never even got my laundry started. Not sure today that I will have any luck but I can do it tomorrow while football is on. This evening we are headed to Harrisburg to a concert at a music venue. Shawn has been wanting to go see Paul Cauthen so Kelsey & I are going along. I hope we aren't out too late tonight.

This past Thursday Marisa at Kitchen Table Stamper usually does a Craft With Me LIVE on Facebook. The day before she posts about what we need to make the project with her. I missed the LIVE but I did play along when I had some free time. Here is the directions of what we needed if your interested in making this.

I said that I think Marisa had ESP because I had 4 of the Russell Stover Marshmallow treats in my cupboard to use for Halloween. And these are what I made...

These were so quick & easy to whip up! I will most likely use these again for Christmas. I love the Russell Stover Marshmallow treats. The also have very good sugar free treats, too!

Since I used a variety of Stampin Up! products on these I did not list them.
If you need to know anything please leave me a comment and i'll answer it for you.

Thanks Marisa for always inspiring and encouraging us to use our supplies!

Sara's Bridal Shower Card

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

Another beautiful day is upon us here in south central PA today and most of the weekend!
I got Audrey's card order delivered last evening. It was so nice to visit with her and catch up on things. She looked better this time and was just in a great place with just getting home from seeing her newest great granddaughter! The card I am sharing today was part of her card order. This is for her one granddaughter that is getting married in December. She got invited to another bridal shower for her and that is why she asked for a 2nd card. I pulled out a bunch of old stamps till I found something that worked well for this.

I used a retired set called Weather or Not. It is a wood mounted set which I think was from maybe 2005? I will double check that when I get back to my stamp room.
I stamped that row of umbrella's in Night of Navy several times using my Stamp A Ma Jig.
The sentiment came from the retired Teeny Tiny Wishes which I stamped with Baroque Burgundy which has been long retired. My sheer Navy Ribbon is retired too but wow, does it ever tie a nice bow. I wrapped some retired Gold Twine around it and tied another bow. I just love the ribbon treatment on this! Audrey loved it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Weather or Not (retired), Teeny Tiny Wishes (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy, Baroque Burgundy (retired)
Cardstock: Baroque Burgundy (retired), Gold Foil Paper, Basic White
Accessories: Classic Label Punch (retired), Festive Pearls, Navy Sheer Ribbon (retired), Gold Twine (retired), 2 Sided Tape

I have a busy day ahead with getting some things on my stamp table finished up and laundry to do. Tomorrow night we are headed to a Paul Cauthen concert which will be fun!
Sunday will be a day of rest with watching football.
I'm tired just thinking about it! LOL

Another Baby's 1st Halloween

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

I finished up Audrey's order yesterday so it will get delivered this evening!
I am anxious to see her! I hope she likes the cards I made her.
The card I am sharing today is part of her order. Since her granddaughter had her baby on Monday (wasn't due until the 2nd week of Nov) she wanted a baby's 1st Halloween card for her. She is now the great grandmother of 2 little girls, one born in July and the other this past Monday. She was so happy....you could hear it in her voice. Anyways, here it the card I made for her...

Pick of the Patch bundle to the rescue again!
It's quite perfect for a baby's 1st Halloween isn't it?

Card Details:

Stamps: Pick of the Patch, Sentiment computer generated
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Pecan Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Cajun Craze, Them Bones DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Pick of the Patch Builder Punch, Cobwebs 3D EF (retired), Champagne Rhinestones, Black & White Gingahm Ribbon, Glue Dots,  Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Today our temps are to warm into the upper 70's. Looking like a few warm days ahead which is good....won't have to run the heat! YAY!

Happy Thanksgiving

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today I want to share with you a set of Thanksgiving cards that are heading to Audrey's tomorrow. I have a gift bag filled with cards for her and this set will be included in this bag. She previously told me she was not going to order any Thanksgiving this year and a week later she called asking for a pack. I'm always happy to make whatever it is that she wants!
This year's All About Autumn DSP is a hot commodity! Stampin Up! can't keep it in stock as it is beautiful paper and everyone wants a pack or two! I'm thankful I was able to get mine during the preorder period for demonstrators. Anyways, yesterday Stampin Up! got more in stock so I hope that everyone has gotten a chance to order it before it's gone for good. Here is the set I made for Audrey. She specified that she wanted the paper that had the pumpkins on!

I have not always been a fan of the papers with realistic pictures on it but this pack has changed all that for me. The different pumpkins and another sheet has the leaves changing colors and another has a beautiful path thru the woods with colorful trees....so pretty! It has been hard to cut into this paper with such beautiful scenes on it but I am going to give it my all! LOL

Card Details:

Stamps: Pleasant Pheasant (retired)
Ink: Copper Clay
Cardstock: Copper Clay, Very Vanilla, All About Autumn DSP
Accessories: Tailor Made Tags Dies, Copper Ribbon, Speckled Dots, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The sentiment on this set retired 2 years ago. We do not have any Thanksgiving sentiments this year which I find a bit odd so it's good that I hang on to all my old stuff!

Today I am headed to my stamp table to finish up one more card for Audrey which is another bridal shower card that I started to play around with last evening. Then I am moving on to creating cards for my next Stamp Day w/ Friends get together.

Bridal Shower

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I hope your week is going well so far!
I had a doctor appointment last evening for my 6 month check up. All went well. Got blood drawn to check my A1C and my thyroid levels. Also got my flu shot! I'm not usually one to get all these shots that are available these days but after being sick last Fall I decided to get the flu shot for the 2nd year. My arm is a bit sore this morning but so far so good!

Today I am sharing a bridal shower card that Audrey requested a few weeks ago.
She usually gives me the invitation to make something that matches it but this time she only gave me the colors. The colors being: Burgundy, Navy & Gold.
This is what I made for her...

I don't have much in stamps for this occasion so I pulled out my old standby set called Love & Laughter and got busy!

Card Details:

Stamps: Love & Laughter (retired), Sincere Salutations (retired)
Ink: Baroque Burgundy (retired), Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Baroque Burgundy (retired), Basic White, Gold Foil Paper
Accessories: Bouquet of Love Hybrid EF (retired), Deckled Rectangle Dies, Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Festive Pearls, Burgundy Sheer Ribbon (retired), Gold Twine (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

She was so happy with this card!
It is for her one granddaughter who is getting married in December.
She sure has a lot of big life events going on!

Earthen Textures HB

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope that you had a nice weekend!
The last few days have been much cooler than usual with some gusty winds. Our overnight temps have dropped to around 40 degrees. It was time to turn the heat on and break out the winter coat. Burrr!

Today I have another set of birthday cards to share that I made recently for Audrey.
She wanted something on the masculine side that was not hunting or fishing related. I pulled out the Earthen Textures bundle and got to work.

Card Details:

Stamps: Earthen Textures, Something Fancy
Ink: Pretty Peacock, Pecan Pie
Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Very Vanilla, Copper Clay, Destressed Gold Specialty Paper, Earthen Elegance DSP
Accessories: Earthen Textures Dies, Something Fancy Dies, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This was the first time I was able to use this stamp set on cards for her and she was pleased with them!

Dinosaurs & Halloween

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

I hope your having a great weekend!
Yesterday our weather almost felt like late Fall.
It was definitely a "hang on to your hat" kind of day!

Today I have another Halloween card to share to Audrey requested for a little boy. She asked for something with dinosaurs. I stewed on this one a few days then pulled out a bunch of stuff trying to come up with something. I knew I had to think outside of the box!

Card Details:

Stamps: Dino Days (retired), Spooky Cat (retired), Ghoulish Goodies (retired)
Ink: Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock, Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, Basic White, Granny Apple Green & Pumpkin Pie DSP (retired)
Accessories: Square Layering Framelits (retired), Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Tasteful Labels Dies (retired), Dino Dies (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Halloween Night Twine (retired), Rhinestone, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Some of the pieces on this card came from leftover candy treats from a few years ago.
I keep a baggie filled with leftover parts & pieces that I can pull out and use again. All I needed to do was add my dinosaur, sentiment and create a cardbase and my card was born!
Audrey was pleased with it! I think she said this was going to a 3 year old neighbor boy so I needed to keep it on the cutesy side.

The last 2 days I worked on a Halloween puzzle that I picked up last weekend at Home Goods. I did a Halloween puzzle last year, too! This took me about 12 hours total to put together and it was a 1000 piece puzzle.

I enjoy working on them when I don't have other things to do!
This one was quite fun! I am anxious to soon start some Christmas puzzles that I have waiting on me. After I am done with them I tear them apart, put into a ziplock bag and send them over to my friend Deb. She loves doing puzzles, too!
