Taco Fiesta Stamp A Stack Card #2

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

All went well at my dentist appointment yesterday and he determined that my old crown should hold up until July when they can get me in to replace the broken one. He kinda suspects that it may have been already cracked by the way it broke. It was a clean break and not jagged. They put me on the ASAP List incase of a cancellation they will call me. Still have to be cautious with it and nothing hard to eat. The reason they put me on the ASAP List is because they are so crazy busy since the other dentist left at the end of December and a new dentist does not start until July. I also looked back to when this tooth had the root canal and crown put on and it was in July of 2000. The broken crown was on for almost 23 years! Although in my gripes I would think crowns should last a lifetime!

This evening Shawn has his 6 month check up with his doctor. I finally got my results of my bloodwork from last week. She sent me my results and typed at the top....Test results look great! WooHoo! My A1C and Sugar Glucose has dropped and my Potassium level also improved. Was SO happy about that! I continue to keep myself away from taking diabetes meds and that is my goal!

Ok, enough on the chit chat....let's get to some stamping fun!
This is the 2nd card from The Kitchen Table Stamper's Taco Fiesta Stamp A Stack that she is sharing this week...

OMGosh, I just love the faces on the taco and avocado! Don't they make you smile?!
I did my Stamp A Stack a bit different than the original as I stamped some of the images directly on the Circle panel and fussy cut the taco and lime slice. Fussy cutting is not my thing so sometimes I do go the easy route. I put my sentiment on a Tailor Made Tags Die and added my ribbon. I also used Rhinestones on all my cards instead of the Iridescent Flat Pearls. So much fun!

Card Details:

Stamps: Taco Fiesta
Ink: Memento Black, Garden Green, Stampin Blends- Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Malon Mambo, Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Basic Black, Basic White, Enjoy The Journey DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Tomorrow I will share card # 3 which is perfect to end my Taco Fiesta celebration on Cinco de Mayo! I was going to suggest going out for Mexican for supper but after this past week of unexpected dentist/oral surgeon visits I think it's probably best to stay home and maybe try my hand at making our own fajita's!
I hope your enjoying the Taco Fiesta Stamp A Stack so far!
Big Thanks to Marisa for always sharing & inspiring everyone to be creative!

Card Set W/ Coordinating Box

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

I don't think we've had any sunshine since Tuesday and today there definitely won't be any since they are saying a mix bag of precipitation. I think the seasonal blues are setting in!
This girl does so much better with sunny days!

I've got a cute project to share with you today!
I worked for hours last Saturday to put this together and I love the outcome.
Marisa at Kitchen Table Stamper made this box for a few projects she did back before Christmas. I saved it for when I had the time.
This is the card box and a picture of the card box open...

She used The Yeti stamp set on one set and Forever Friendship on the other. Both stamp sets are from the Holiday Mini Catalog that just retired. I did not have either stamp set so I substituted the Cottage Wreath set for mine.

The inside has 2 pockets, one for the postage stamps and the other holds 6 cards & envelopes which on hers she put 8.
Here are the cards I made for inside...

Project Details:

Stamps: Knit Together, Cottage Wreath, Go To Greetings, Celebrating You
Ink: Sweet Sorbet, Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Basic White, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Cottage Gingham DSP  (retired- Mint Macaron, So Saffron & Calypso Coral)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Country Wreath Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, 1 1/2 Circle Punch, Genial Gems (retired), Mint Macaron Ribbon (retired), Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made this for myself but more than likely I will gift this away!
I'd really like to make another one but we'll see!
Hope you enjoyed seeing my recent project.
It was alot of fun!

Sweet Gingerbread

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday was a beautiful day and I got all my housework done.
Shawn came home from work and got on the roof to clean the leaves out the rain gutters.
Glad that is done for now but the neighbors trees are still dropping leaves so I am sure he'll be doing that chore again! 2 years ago we had all our trees taken down so we did not have to deal with raking leaves but the neighbor has LOTS of trees in her yard and they fall and blow into our yard. *sigh*

Today I am sharing an adorable Christmas card using the Sweet Gingerbread bundle.
Gingerbread are my thing! My kitchen is done up with Gingers all year long!

A few weeks ago I purchased the Sweet Gingerbread card kit from Kitchen Table Stamper and as soon as they came I put them together.
Y'all know that I love all the projects that Marisa makes and she inspires me all the time so I had to get this kit!
This is the first card of 3 that I am sharing today...

I love these!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweet Gingerbread, Handmade Wishes
Ink: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Real Red, Sweet Sorbet
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Sweetest Christmas DSP
Accessories: Gingerbread House Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Whimsical Woodland 3D EF, Real Red Linen Ribbon, Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins, Glue Dots, Adhesive Sheets, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'll be back tomorrow to share card # 2 so please stop back!

Happy Hearts

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

A wet & rainy day is on tap here in south central PA with temps in the high 40's!
Yesterday the sunshine felt wonderful and melted a good bit of our snow.
I hope today it continues to melt before more cold & yukky weather comes tomorrow.

Today I have another cute Valentine's Day card to share.
I have been on a roll with the Sweet Talk DSP this year!
It's from the Stampin Up! 2022 January - June Mini Catalog.

I love the font on my sentiment panel which is an old one from Inky Antics!
My pretty heart dies are made using the Many Hearts Dies which retired last year.
I thought it all went well with the Sweet Talk DSP!
I do think it's one of my favorites this year!

Card Details:

Stamps: Inky Antics
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Blushing Bride, Basic White, Real Red, Sweet Talk DSP
Accessories: Gingham EF, Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Many Hearts Dies (retired), Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon, Red Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

That is all from me for now!

Hearts, Hearts & More Hearts...

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your week is going well so far!

Today I am sharing a Valentines Day card that I made up for myself.
I got my card lady's order finished and delivered to her. Hopefully that will hold her over for a bit. It felt good to sit and just play with things in my stash. I wanted to get some Valentines Day cards made to send out soon.

You know I like to mix new and old things together and this card is no different!
I started with a cardbase of Highland Heather then a layer of Basic White that was run thru the Big Shot with the NEW Gingham EF.
Next I grabbed some paper scraps from the Sweet Talk DSP measuring 1 x 4. I staggered them on my embossed Basic White cardstock. Next I pulled out the retired Meant to Be Bundle and diecut a Highland Heather stitched heart from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits. The other heart were pieces already diecut that I keep in a clear envelope inside each stamp case. I then stamped my sentiment from the Meant to Be stamp set in Real Red ink on my Basic White heart and glued it all together. I added a bow with the White Glittered Ribbon and added some Red Rhinestones for sparkle.
I liked that my Highland Heather diecut heart matched the hearts in the one sheet of DSP.
The Sweet Talk DSP is one of the nicest packs of Valentines Day paper that we've had in awhile. Such pretty prints & patterns!

Card Details:

Stamps: Meant to Be
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Highland Heather, Basic White, Real Red, Sweet Talk DSP
Accessories: Gingham EF, Be Mine Stitched Framelits (retired), White Glittered Ribbon, Red Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Today Shawn is off since he worked all weekend.
I'm not sure what kind of trouble we will get into but I need to grab some groceries sometime before we get another blast of artic air that is to come during the night tonight.
After that I will hibernate a few days and work on some more Valentines Day cards!
Stay tuned! LOL

Apples & Pears, OH MY!

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Hope your weekend is off to a great start!

We are up bright & early this morning as my dear hubby has to head in to work.
His work has mandated the vaccines and so many have not gotten them that they are walking off the job and quitting. They must be vaccinated by Nov. 1st or lose their jobs. He will most likely lose 3 of his guys. The one even went to see his lawyer to see what could be done about it. He has a bunch of great hard working guys that have been there many years but will not comply with the mandate. So now Shawn is busting his butt to keep things moving but after a week....I can see how tired & worn out he is. It's just never ending!

So, today I have one last set of apple cards to share with you!

As I went on a scavenger hunt to look for apple paper I found this pack of Tutti Fruitti from a few years ago and thought this would make a nice set of cards. Not only does it have red & green apples but pears, too! Luckily, I had enough to create this set of cards and use a mix of the patterns to coordinate with the colors in my apple DSP!
I started with a Real Red cardbase then a layer of Basic White that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Timeworn Type 3D EF. It's my new favorite! LOL
Then I cut all my DSP 2x3 and staggered them on my Basic White panel. I love this look as I think it's pleasing to the eye!
I then diecut some tags with Basic White cardstock using the Tailor Made Tags Dies (another favorite!) and stamped my sentiment on them in Real Red ink. The saying comes from the Pansy Patch stamp set. Lastly, I added a pretty sheer Real Red bow to each tag and added some Red Rhinestones for a bit of sparkle. I do believe these were my favorites from all the apple cards! I was very fond of the Real Red bows!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pansy Patch
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Tutti Fruitti DSP (retired)
Accessories: Timeworn Type 3D EF, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Real Red Sheer Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

And of course, my card lady loved them as well!

Can't Thank You Enough

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

A hot & humid day is on tap with thunderstorms off & on all day!
I'm going to try to hide downstairs and do some stamping to pass the time.

Today I have a set of Thank You cards to share that I whipped up a few weeks ago for my card rack. They did not last long as my card lady needed a pack on her last order. This set was inspired by someone on a Facebook page I belong too and they use retired products.

Card Details:

Stamps: So Sentimental (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, White Craft Pad
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Basic White, Botanical Butterfly DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Brilliant Wings Dies, Layered Leaves 3D EF (retired), Highland Heather Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have so much retired stuff in my stash that pulling it out and using it again just makes me smile!
I used one of the Wonder Recipes for the card design.
Each piece of DSP measures 2x3 that are adhered on top of the embossed panel.
Any time you use an embossing folder it gives your card some nice texture!

Pansy Petals HB

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I am sharing a set of cards that I made for that recent card order.
My card lady requested another pack of cards using those pretty pansies!
I pulled out my Pansy Petals DSP and cut some strips to use for one of my favorite layouts!

I have gone thru 3/4 of this package of DSP and that means I might have to order another one eventually! This paper is so darn pretty!
Each card has a diecut pansy from the DSP on it.

Card Details:

Stamps: Pansy Patch
Ink: Fresh Freesia
Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Soft Succulent, Basic White, Pansy Petals DSP
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits, Pansy Dies, Soft Succulent Ribbon, Soft Succulent In Color Jewels, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
