Anniversary Cards for Fall

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope that you had a nice weekend! The weather around here was beautiful!
Today I have a set of Anniversary Cards that I made for Audrey. She said she was completely out of them and wanted something geared towards Fall. I found 2 sheets of this Echo Park paper and thought they would make pretty cards!

Card Details:

Stamps: Many Mates (retired)
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: More Mustard (retired), Basic White, Really Rust (retired), Leaves-Echo Park
Accessories: Polka Dot EF (retired), Stitched with Whimsy Dies, Nested Essentials Dies, Autumn Leaves Dies, Champagne Rhinestones (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

More Mustard has been retired for many years now and as I went to get a few whole sheets of cardstock from it's folder I found these small pieces already embossed. I must have embossed them and never used them until now! More Mustard was always a favorite color for Fall and i'm glad that it worked well for this set for Audrey!

Sara's Anniversary

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Looking to be a hot & humid day here in Pennsylvania. Even though the calendar says it's the end of August we still have more hot & humid weather to get thru before Fall arrives in a few weeks. We've very much enjoyed the last week or so that it was pleasant out but now the ac is back on.
Today I have one last Anniversary card to share with you!
This card wasn't needed until December so i'm not sure why Audrey requested it so early but this one is for her granddaughter Sara who got married at the end of December in 2023.
This is the wedding card I made and here is the 1st anniversary...

Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Fern (retired), First Frost (retired), Many Mates (retired)
Ink: Baroque Burgundy (retired), Mossy Meadow, Sahara Sand (retired)
Cardstock: Baroque Burgundy, Mossy Meadow, Basic White, Copper Foil Paper
Accessories: Forever Flourishing Dies (retired), Frosted Bouquet Framelits (retired), Burgundy Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I kept trying to add things like sequins and enamel dots but I wanted it to stay as original to the wedding card as I could get it. I also have to remember that Audrey does not like all the sparkle with the rhinestones and ribbons so we kept it original. In the end she loved it!

Wildflower Designs Anniversary

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I got Audrey's card order delivered to her last evening but she was not home. I already knew that before I went. She had a function at church with her daughter so I left her bag in between her front doors and she left me payment in a secret place. We've done this before. LOL I did talk to her yesterday and she seemed in really good spirits and anxious for the next grandson's wedding next week. That lady is something else and just remarkable! I'm so glad my Dad hooked us up years ago!

Today I have the 2nd set of Anniversary cards to share with you that she requested. I pulled out a new suite of products that I ordered last week called Wildly Flowering. I loved it the minute I saw it! The stamp set is called Wildflower Designs and the DSP is called Wildly Flowering. I can't wait for her to call and let me know how she liked her big bag of cards!!

Card Details:

Stamps: Wildflower Designs, Many Mates (retired)
Ink: Misty Moonlight, Moody Mauve
Cardstock: Moody Mauve, Misty Moonlight, Basic White, Wildly Flowering DSP
Accessories: Wildflower Designs Dies, Moody Mauve In Color Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Oh, I am in love with this suite!
Every single sheet of the DSP is beautiful and the dies are pretty cool, too!
I really cannot wait to pull it out and use it again soon!
But for now....I am off to get some cleaning done. My house is in major need of it! LOL
It's suppose to get pretty warm today so I may end up with the AC on.

Happy Anniversary

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today I am sharing card # 4 from my recent Stamp Day w/ Friends event.
I always ask if there is a special occasion that they need a card for but they usually tell me all occasion. So today I am sharing the Anniversary card we made. It uses everything retired.

Such pretty colors on this one especially for the summer months.
I love pulling out the old stuff and breathing new life into it and the girls really liked this one.

Card Details:

Stamps: Many Mates (retired)
Ink: Watermelon Wonder (retired)
Cardstock: Peekaboo Peach (retired), Pale Papaya (retired), Watermelon Wonder (retired), Basic White, Fruit Stand DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Lots of Labels Framelits (retired), Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Daffodil Delight Ruched Rinbbon (retired), Pale Papaya Dots, (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Lots of oldies but goodies!

Update on Vicki:

I talked to her hubby last evening and they are hoping Vicki gets discharged today!
She has been doing so well and if all looks ok when the doctor stops to see her she will be on her way home! I did not talk to him for long as he was getting ready to help her out of bed so I don't know if her swelling has gone down but I do know she is going home with the trach & feeding tube. I assume just until the swelling goes down in her face. I hope tomorrow to have another update on her but in the meantime please continue to keep her in your prayers. The first part of her cancer journey was surgery and once she is healed she will more than likely start the second part of chemo & radiation.

Congrats!

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

I hope your having a nice weekend!
Today is Kelsey's 30th birthday! No celebrations happening here though. She went out to dinner with some friends from work to the Cheesecake Factory in Towson, Maryland this evening. And Shawn is off on a fishing trip to Delaware. Ryan & I fended for ourselves with frozen pizza and a quiet house! LOL I spent most of the day at my stamp table finishing up Audrey's order and working on a few cards for my card rack. I made some Retirement cards for men & women. My card that I am sharing today is one of those cards which was so fun to make!

I dug out so many stamp sets that they were all over my tables!
I wanted to look back at what I have and use the most perfect sentiments I could find.

Card Details:

Stamps: Wild About Flowers (retired), Many Mates (retired)
Ink: Mossy Meadow, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Mossy Meadow, Daffodil Delight, Basic White
Accessories: Dots & Spots Die, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Tailor Made Tags Dies, Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon (retired), White Twine, Elegant Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was pleased with how this one turned out!
This was the first time I used the Dots & Spots Die and wasn't sure what to expect but wowza's! I love it!
Wild About Flowers stamp set is a retired photopolymer set but it's always my go to for Retirement cards because of the sayings in the set.
And for some reason I paired Mossy Meadow with Daffodil Delight and loved the look of them. So much fun!

Happy Anniversary Set

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

A rainy day is on tap here in PA and I hope to make it another stamp day!
All went well yesterday at the dentist. The new crown was a perfect fit and no adjustments were needed. As soon as I got home yesterday Audrey called and gave me a big order which I got started on after lunch.
She requested a pack of Anniversary cards and this is what I made her...

Card Details:

Stamps: Many Mates (retired)
Ink: Blackberry Bliss
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Pool Party, Blackberry Bliss, Basic White, Design A Daydream DSP (Hostess)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Radiating Stitches Dies, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Have you noticed those new dies I used on these cards?
Those are the Radiating Stitches Dies that are part of the Online Exclusives.
They diecut so nicely and I love the stitching!
I paired the dies with the Dream A Daydream DSP that is a hostess offering in the 2022-2023 Stampin Up Annual Catalog. It had the perfect colors for spring and it's a huge 12 x 12 paper stack! It will take me forever to use that pack up! LOL

Special Anniversary Card

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I have a special card to share today that was made for Audrey's grandson.
He got married a year ago and she requested the 1st Anniversary card to match the wedding card. Sadly I could not find a picture of the wedding card and I don't think I ever posted it so I went off of the Bridal Shower card instead.

Everything on this card is retired.
Can you guess the color of cardstock I used?

Card Details:

Stamps: Amazing You (SaleABRation 2018), Many Mates (retired)
Ink: Versamark, Bordering Blue (retired)
Cardstock: Bordering Blue (retired), Basic White
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Oval Layering Framelits (retired), White Glittered Ribbon, Rhinestones, White Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

She was pleased with it and that makes me happy!

Gorgeous Leaves

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I have a set of Fall Anniversary cards to share that my card lady requested on her next order. I pulled out my Gorgeous Leaves stamp set and a piece of the In Good Taste DSP and got started.

I started with a cardbase of Bumble Bee cardstock then added a layer of this pretty woodgrain DSP. Next I diecut some Very Vanilla cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle Framelits and then took my leaves and inked them with Bumble Bee ink but before I stamped them I took my Sponge Dauber and inked it up with Cajun Craze ink and dabbed it onto my leaf stamps and then stamped it onto my Very Vanilla cardstock. I love the look of this technique as it makes it look like real leaves! Once my leaves are done I stamped my sentiment from the retired Many Mates stamp set in Cajun Craze ink. Next I added a layer of Bumble Bee cardstock that I diecut with the Scalloped Contour Dies. Once I had all that done I finished up my cards with a Bumble Bee Gingham Ribbon bow and a couple of Champagne Rhinestones.

I hope that she will like these!

Ink: Bumble Bee, Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Bumble Bee, Very Vanilla, In Good Taste DSP
