Sunny Splash Meets Watercolor Shapes

I hope you all had a nice weekend!

Our weather has been nice but a bit on the windy side. I'm hoping for another day of nice sunshine to keep me motivated to get my house cleaning done. I got most of it done yesterday and just have a little bit left. 

Today I have a fun card to share that I made on Friday when it got so hot out. I wanted to play with the retired Sunny Splash set since I did not use it much while it was available. Then I had a piece of cardstock on my shelf that I stamped with the Watercolor Shapes that just recently retired as well and paired the 2 together. I had the Watercolor Shapes set for a few months and only ever played around with it using different colors but never applied it to a card. Finally I was able to use it on a card....a fun, colorful card at that!

Ink: Tahitian Tide, Parakeet Party

Cardstock: Tahitian Tide, Parakeet Party, Basic White

Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Scalloped Contour Dies, Parakeet Party Ombre Matte Dots, Parakeet Party Metallic Ribbon, Glue Dots. Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I can see this card being done with lots of other bright fun colors, too!

Hello Sunshine Set

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

Another hot & muggy weekend is upon us.

We've had a week of cooler temps and no humidity (which was fabulous!!). 

Do you have any fun plans?

Tomorrow I am having the girls over to make some cards which I am excited to share with them! We won't be getting together until after lunchtime since one of the girls already has a morning commitment. It's to be a hot one so whatever your doing....stay hydrated and stay cool!

Today I have a bunch of cards to share.

These cards were requested by my card lady after I sent her a card made using the Sunny Splash stamp set. I made a set for her since that is what she wanted and made them in different colors.

She could not wait to get these to send out to people!

I think the Starry Sky one is my favorite along with the Melon Mambo one. 

Such a cute stamp set which i'm so glad I ordered!

Hello Sunshine

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

We are in the midst of yet another heatwave this week.

I'm sure I am sounding like a broken record.

I am so not a fan of this hot & humid stuff probably because I hate running my ac but we just can't do without it! Everyday we get one day closer to Fall!! :)

My card today is a perfect one for this hot & humid weather!

We no longer have a swimming pool so I can't say that I lounge around in a bathing suit anymore but it sure would be nice during these hot days!

I sent this card to my card lady last week.

She called me yesterday and she was so funny!

I made this card on a whim and I was not sure what Audrey would say about it but I thought it would brighten her day!

She absolutely loved it and just raved over it....even ordered a pack like it!

She knows sometimes I throw some odd cards at her and I just wasn't sure what she'd think about the bathing suit. Maybe she thought I was werid but heavens no! She loved everything about it which made me smile & laugh! It was the first time I used this set so I am over the moon that she loved it!
