Halloween Candy Totes

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Kelsey & Sushi are here and it's all out Halloween weekend!

First thing is a Tesla breakfast with the Tesla people at the restaurant this morning that Shawn asked me to attend with him. Kelsey will keep an eye on Bailee while we are gone. Miss Bailee had her Vet checkup yesterday. Happy to report she gained some weight and got her Cytopoint injection for the seasonal itch. Also got her meds refilled so we are good to go for awhile. She is to return in 1 year.

Today I am sharing a Halloween candy treat that I made. I was looking for something different and think that a candy tote is a neat little gift to give someone.

This was a fun one to make! I used 2 different embossing folders on this giving it so much texture! I love how it turned out!

This will be fun to send to a coffee loving friend for Halloween! I know just the person!

Festive Friday

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

The weekend is here! Do you have any fun plans?

I may pop out to grab some Fall plants for my front porch now that is it sitting bare. 

Shawn wants to smoke a pork roast in the smoker for pulled pork sandwiches tomorrow so that means I will most likely make some butter parsley potatoes & deviled eggs to go with that! Ryan will definitely like that meal! LOL

Today it's time for another Festive Friday Challenge that I have been doing for the last 8 weeks! I have been pulling out old wood mounted stamps and making a Christmas card with them. I'm getting quite the collection which makes me happy! Today's card uses a wood mounted Stampin Up! set called Snowy Play from 2003.

Beautiful Friendship Congratulations

Today I am sharing a card that I made months ago using the retired Beautiful Friendship stamp set. I saw the color combination somewhere which lead me to creating this card. You might need your sunglasses for this one....it is bright but also pretty!

It seems a bit busy to me but when I was finished with it I loved the outcome! Such a different variety of colors! I put a retirement sentiment inside and added this to my card rack. 

Hopefully today will be a crafty kind of day! It is to get a bit warmer & more humid today! The Fall weather the last 2 days has been lovely! It inspired me to get a few Fall cards made and sent out. The 1st day of Fall is next Tuesday!!

Santa's Hat Swap Card

Today Miss Bailee has a grooming appointment at noon so that gives us a few hours to do some running around before we have to pick her up. She is definitely in need of a bath & a haircut!

Today I am sharing a swap card that I made and sent to 15 of the other ladies on our team. The swap was for the 2026 Holiday Catalog and the Online Exclusives. I chose the stamp set called Santa's Hat. I paired my stamp set with some Stitched Season DSP that is from the Online Exclusives.

 everything on hand except for the twine. I had to order that last minute! I am currently in the process of doing another swap with my team mates. This one is a Christmas Gift Card Holder! I do have them made just need to print out my supplies list and address my envelopes. I was hoping to get them in the mail today but I think maybe tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest!

Trick or Treat Fun Fold

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Today I am sharing a fun fold that I made with the Oh My Fright suite. I realized spooky season is upon us and I've not shared much Halloween stuff. These last months have me all upside down! The Oh My Fright suite was a July 2026 Online Exclusive offering which I took advantage of right away since I do make cards & treats for Halloween. This year's treats are going to look much different since I don't have Audrey to make for. She always loved my holiday treats and that part I will most definitely miss but I am pushing forward and have made a few things but nothing to the extreme I use too. And speaking of Audrey, today would be her 96th birthday! Happy heavenly birthday, Audrey!

This was fun to make but will be a bit bulky to mail so this one will most likely go in Kelsey's Halloween basket. I picked up a nice Boo basket at Home Goods a few weeks ago and filled it with a Halloween blanket from Sam's Club, a Sanderson Sister's cup, and some Halloween decorations. I will give her the basket on October 10th which is when we are having our Halloween Day! Movies, food, puzzles and we will be wearing our Halloween pj's again! It's become a tradition!

Autumn Is In The Air ( I wish!!)

We're halfway thru the week and boy, is it ever a hot one here!

I spent yesterday down at my stamp table working on some cards that needed inside sentiments. Once that task was finished I pulled out some Fall stamps and got inky for 1 quick card. This one uses a stamp set from 2010 called Day of Gratitude. I do not own this set but found a bunch of stamped off images in my image box. My friend Deb has the set and years ago I borrowed it to stamp some images that I apparently never used. I am going to see if I can borrow it again to stamp with some newer inks. I used Soft Suede, More Mustard, Soft Sky, Certainly Celery & Elegant Eggplant for the images in my Image Box. All those colors are now long retired. 

I paired my images with some retired Spice Cake DSP from 2012. I don't have too much of this designer series paper left...it's been well loved over the years!

I love this card! That color is so pretty and I think this is the first time I have used it since it became available in May. The punch outs in the designer series specialty pack also make it so quick & easy to create a card! It seems many of our paper packs are having these punch outs in them and I for one love it!

Thankful Thoughts & An Audrey Update

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

Today I am feeling a bit down after hearing yesterday that my dear card lady, Audrey, is on hospice care. She has been dealing with cancer for many years and is 95 years old. One thing that she has always said over the years is that God is good and he has blessed her in many ways! My heart sank when I heard the news but at the same time I know how tired she was fighting this fight. I've known Audrey since 2013 when she asked me to make her cards. Each & every month since then she has always given me card orders. She loved blessing someone's day with a card and kind words no matter the occasion. 

My heart is sad but I am surely blessed for knowing her! She is such an amazing lady!

I have a card to share today that I made yesterday. I got some new Stampin Up! products that I wanted to play with. I used the Design A Tag stamp set and the Harvest Hues Mix & Match Ephemera Pack from the 2026 September -December Catalog (aka Holiday Mini). I have loved the ephemera packs the last few years because they make card creating so quick & easy!

Better Together

I am still in the thick of it picking at my puzzle. It's going pretty good and hope to have it finished before the weekend! Today I have 2 cards to share that are the same. I think anniversary cards seem to fly off my card rack pretty quickly so I try to keep on top of making those! These cards use everything retired and honestly I just love them!
