Autumn Is In The Air ( I wish!!)

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

We're halfway thru the week and boy, is it ever a hot one here!
I spent yesterday down at my stamp table working on some cards that needed inside sentiments. Once that task was finished I pulled out some Fall stamps and got inky for 1 quick card. This one uses a stamp set from 2010 called Day of Gratitude. I do not own this set but found a bunch of stamped off images in my image box. My friend Deb has the set and years ago I borrowed it to stamp some images that I apparently never used. I am going to see if I can borrow it again to stamp with some newer inks. I used Soft Suede, More Mustard, Soft Sky, Certainly Celery & Elegant Eggplant for the images in my Image Box. All those colors are now long retired.
I paired my images with some retired Spice Cake DSP from 2012. I don't have too much of this designer series paper left...it's been well loved over the years!

Card Details:

Stamps: Day of Gratitude (retired 2010), Sentiment by DRS Designs
Ink: Soft Suede (retired), Pool Party, More Mustard (retired)
Cardstock: Pool Party, Soft Suede (retired), More Mustard (retired), Basic White, Spice Cake DSP (retired 2012)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Pool Party Ribbon (retired), Pool Party Glossy Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Always feels great to use up the older stash!

Framed Violets

 Hello & Happy Monday, Friends!

Hope you had a nice weekend!
Today I have a sweet card to share that I made with the Framed Violets bundle. It's such a pretty set! For this card I used some of the punch outs that is in the designer series paper pack and some Gingham Gallery DSP from the Online Exclusives.

Card Details:

Stamps: Framed Violets (Online Exclusives), Make An Impression (inside sentiment)
Ink: Hydrangea Hue (New In Color)
Cardstock: Hydrangea Hue (New In Color), Basic White, Gingham Gallery DSP & Violet Dreams Specialty DSP (both Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Hydrangea Hue In Color Dots, Hydrangea Hue Ribbon (2026 Sept-Dec Catalog), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love this card! That color is so pretty and I think this is the first time I have used it since it became available in May. The punch outs in the designer series specialty pack also make it so quick & easy to create a card! It seems many of our paper packs are having these punch outs in them and I for one love it!

Thankful Thoughts & An Audrey Update

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

Today I am feeling a bit down after hearing yesterday that my dear card lady, Audrey, is on hospice care. She has been dealing with cancer for many years and is 95 years old. One thing that she has always said over the years is that God is good and he has blessed her in many ways! My heart sank when I heard the news but at the same time I know how tired she was fighting this fight. I've known Audrey since 2013 when she asked me to make her cards. Each & every month since then she has always given me card orders. She loved blessing someone's day with a card and kind words no matter the occasion.
My heart is sad but I am surely blessed for knowing her! She is such an amazing lady!

I have a card to share today that I made yesterday. I got some new Stampin Up! products that I wanted to play with. I used the Design A Tag stamp set and the Harvest Hues Mix & Match Ephemera Pack from the 2026 September -December Catalog (aka Holiday Mini). I have loved the ephemera packs the last few years because they make card creating so quick & easy!

Card Details:

Stamps: Design A Tag
Ink: Secret Sea
Cardstock: Secret Sea, Basic White, Harvest Hues Mix & Match Ephemera Pack
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Seasonal Cheer Mini EF (Online Exclusives), Secret Sea Sheer Ribbon, Darling Duckling In Color Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The Harvest Hues Mix & Match Ephemera pack now has sticky on the back of each piece! I was so excited to find this which makes it even easier to create cards with them so do not over look them in the new catalog!

Better Together

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

I am still in the thick of it picking at my puzzle. It's going pretty good and hope to have it finished before the weekend! Today I have 2 cards to share that are the same. I think anniversary cards seem to fly off my card rack pretty quickly so I try to keep on top of making those! These cards use everything retired and honestly I just love them!

Card Details:

Stamps: Painted Petals (retired 2015), Reason to Celebrate
Ink: Pacific Point, Garden Green
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Garden Green Basic White, Painted Blooms DSP (retired 2015)
Accessories: Everyday Arches Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Spring Flowers EF (retired), Waves Rhinestones (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have always loved those pretty flowers & the matching DSP. A friend recently gifted me with a whole pack of this paper on top of what I already have. I know this particular sheet will get used but not so sure on the rest.

Epic Celebration HB

Good Morning & Happy Sunday, Friends!

Sorry for the late update today!
Yesterday was a busy day as Miss Bailee had a Vet appt in the morning. We waited 40 minutes for the Vet to come in the room and needless to say she was not very patient waiting. He examined her, listened to her heart and refilled her steroid meds. Did not really have much to say other than he is happy to see her doing so well and he won't be changing up her diet since it's working for her. He spent 10 minutes in the room with us and we were out the door.
We got her home, had lunch then we headed out to do some errands. Back home by supper time then we took Miss Bailee out for a walk. We did 2 laps around the neighborhood on our bikes then home to watch our Baltimore Ravens 1st preseason football game against the Eagles. Wasn't sure what to expect since our team has made alot of changes over the off season. They got a win and played some great football. 24-7! It was late when the game was over and I could hardly keep my eyes open. So, I slept in this morning since they are calling for a rainy/stormy day. It might just be a pajama day for me!!

So my card that I am sharing today is made with a retired SaleABRation set called Epic Celebration. I need some teen cards on my card rack so I reached for this set and got busy!

Card Details:

Stamps: Epic Celebration (SAB 2018), Sketched Plaid Background (retired 2023), Biggest Wish (retired 2021)
Ink: Dapper Denim (retired In Color)
Cardstock: Dapper Denim (retired In Color), Basic White
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Dotted Circles 3D EF (retired), Dapper Denim In Color Dots (retired), Blender Pen, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Such a fun card for a teenager, don't ya think?

Festive Friday

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

The other day I challenged myself to buy less of the new Stampin Up! Holiday Mini catalog since I am just a hobby demo and start using what is in my 25 years of stamp collecting! Lord knows I have wall to wall stamps, ink & paper that will last me the rest of my life! So, today is my 1st holiday card using what's in my stash! I pulled out a used retired set that I picked up some time ago at L&L Stamps. It is a wood mounted set from 2005 called Renaissance Angels.

Card Details:

Stamps: Renaissance Angels (retired 2005), Four the Holidays (retired 2009)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Thick Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Festive Farmhouse DSP (retired 2018)
Accessories: Everyday Arches Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Cherry Cobbler Twine (retired), Holiday Rhinestones (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

If you have been following me for awhile now you know that I love pulling out the old stamps and breathing new life into them. Blowing the dust off of them and inking them up in fresh ink always makes me smile and this card definitely makes me smile!

I'm going to challenge you to pull out your old stamps and make a Christmas card every Friday for Festive Friday up until Christmas! It's a great way to use what we already have in our stashes!

Frosted Snowflakes

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

Today I have one last spiral bound notebook to show you for Christmas in July!
This one came together so nicely and the mix of blues really spoke to me.
I used the retired Gingerbread Dies which went with the Frosted Gingerbread Bundle (retired 2021) for this along with the Beary Christmas DSP that I used yesterday. Take a look...

Project Details:

Stamps: Simply Said (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Very Vanilla, Beary Christmas DSP (retired 2023)
Accessories: Gingerbread Dies (retired 2021), Stylish Shapes Dies, Balmy Blue Sheer Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Two Sided Tape, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I am now out of spiral bound notebooks so I will start looking for more soon. I usually get them at the Dollar Tree but it is hit or miss with them.

Beary Cute Notebook

 Hello & Happy Tuesday, Friends!

Today I have another spiral bound notebook to share with you that I whipped up using some old Stampin Up! holiday papers. I left most of the paper do all the work and added just a sentiment to finish it up!

Project Details:

Stamps: Simply Said (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Night of Navy, Basic White, Blue Shimmer Paper (unknown source), Beary Christmas DSP (retired 2023)
Accessories: Everyday Arches Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Martha Stewart Jumbo Snowflake Punch, Night of Navy Ribbon (retired), Drusy Adhesive Backed Embellishments (retired), Dimensionals, Two Sided Tape, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love how this one turned out with those fun papers!
The focal image was diecut directly from the DSP. It reminds me of the Coca Cola bears that were out year ago! Do you remember those adorable Coke commercials?

All of my spiral bound notebooks are for sale if anyone is interested in them. Just shoot me a message! All notebooks come with the RSVP Pens that have a strip of DSP in the barrel to match the notebook. These pens are worth their weight in gold! LOL

Today we are in for a very humid day with thunderstorms likely!
I know my yard & flowers could use some rain!

Boo To You!!

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Things are still going good here at the Aungst Pad with Miss Bailee.
The last 2 days we have seen a big improvement in her. Her spunky attitude seems to have returned and her tail is definitely wagging alot more. We even took her out for a small walk last evening! I am hoping things will continue to be good.

I made my way to my stamp table yesterday. I have so many new stamp things sitting on my table that were begging to be used. I pulled out the Oh My Fright bundle that is on the Stampin Up Online Exclusives list. I've had this suite for awhile but haven't been able to use it till now.

Card Details:

Stamps: Oh My Fright (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Basic Gray
Cardstock: Timid Tiger, Basic Gray, Basic White, Basic Black, Frightfully Fun DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Oh My Fright Dies (Online Exclusives), Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Swirls of Magic EF (Online Exclusives), Adhesive Backed Bats, Ghost & Dots, Black Satin Ribbon (Online Exclusives), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This suite of products is very nice and the dies have some great ones in it! I especially like the tag that is included. I already diecut several to use for future cards!

I am hoping to make my way to my stamp table this afternoon since I found a cool sketch I would like to try. Shawn wants to go for a bike ride first since we are having some pleasant weather. Trying to get back into the groove again!
