Double Easel Card

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

Today I want to share a card that I made with my stamp friends Friday night.
I watched a tutorial by Patty Bennett on how to create this card.
It is a Double Easel Card.

If your interested in making this here is Patty's tutorial.

After watching her video I took DSP and cardstock to match and made the card.
The one I am showing today was my sample card.
(I still have my card to share another day)
Each of the girls made cards that are completely different from my sample.
I wish I would have taken pictures of the girls cards!
They were awesome!

Card Details:

Stamps: Picture Perfect Birthday, Tropical Chic
Ink: Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green, Blushing Bride
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green, Blushing Bride, Whisper White, Tropical Escape DSP
Accessories: Tropical Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Granny Apple Green Glittered Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I thought this card was so cool and it matched the bags I made them!
I will be making more of this style card!
So much fun!

My thoughts today.....

I heard we are to get in the 90's today!
Yea, not my favorite kind of weather so I will be staying put inside.
It's my day of housework anyways.....BLAH!
Hope your day is more exciting!

Thanks for stopping by & stay cool!

Our Creative Corner Challenge

Hello & Happy Sunday!

As your well aware of, I was having camera issues this week so hubby ran out to Walmart last night and got me a new camera for Easter! He knows I use my camera for lots of things and was kinda lost without it the last few days. Thank you, Buppie!! :)

So, this morning I got my pictures retaken of my easel card that Vicki from over at the Our Creative Corner Blog challenged us to make. I made an easel card way back when they first came out on the scene but it did not come out right so today was interesting to me on how easy they really are! I loved this challenge and i'm sure down the road you will see me make more of them now that I know how! Thanks Vicki!! :)

Bear with me on the camera issue. I don't take well to new things so a new camera will certainly be another learning process for me! LOL

Our Creative Corner Challenge~Easel Card:

Ink: Always Artichoke
Cardstock: Always Artichoke, Baja Breeze, PTI Vanilla, Springtime Vintage DSP

Also i'd like to pass along a happy birthday wish to my friend here in Missouri, Vicki Burdick! Hope you have a great day!! :)

Well, that's all for now!
Gotta go get my potatoes peeled and a cookin for supper. The ham's smelling really good!
I'll be back later to share Shawn & Kelsey's Easter Treats I made them so stay tuned!

Have a wonderful day!
