Bottled Happiness Hello Card

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

The weekend is upon us again! Do you have any fun plans?
It's to be a hot & humid one here so I don't think we'll be out and about too much especially with almost $5 a gallon of gas! That's just as crazy as the weather! We've been staying put at home alot more lately!
Today my hubby is off and we are planning on power washing the porches and getting the porch furniture out but they are calling for thunderstorms all weekend so we may just have to work between the rain drops. I also hope to grab a few flowers to get planted now that we are hopefully past the threat of frost.

So, today I have a cute and very easy card to share that I whipped up one day this week.
I used some new In Colors, Starry Sky & Parakeet Party along with the new Bottled Happiness stamp set.

Card Details:

Stamps: Bottled Happiness, Pansy Patch (sentiment)
Ink: Starry Sky, Parakeet Party
Cardstock: Starry Sky, Parakeet, Basic White
Accessories: Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This stamp set comes with a coordinating Vintage Bottle Punch which I did not use on this card but I am planning on using it for another card soon!

Simple Birthday Cards

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

We've been having a lovely stretch of weather here in PA but today the clouds are to roll in with showers the next few days. They say it won't be a total washout like last weekend was so I am hopeful that we might be able to try another bike ride. Last evening we loaded the bikes up and went to the Rail Trail for a ride. The weather was a 10 plus! It was the first time we had the bikes out in almost a year and I hope that we can get back at it on a regular basis. I am hurting a little today but happy that we took that first step to getting back at it. I enjoy it and I wish I could share the sweet fragrance of the honeysuckle blooming alongside the trail. It was not overwhelming but such a sweet smell. I really love this time of year for many reasons!

Today I have a set of cards that my card lady requested for her June cards.
She loves hydrangea's and has some in her yard.
She wanted a simple pack of Happy Birthday cards using the Hydrangea Hill DSP.
This pack of paper is retired but that does not matter to her, she says to use what I have on hand and keep them simple.

Card Details:

Stamps: Pansy Patch
Ink: Gorgeous Grape
Cardstock: Gorgeous Grape, Basic White, Hydrangea Hill DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Brushed Brass Butterflies, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

When I deliver a card order to my card lady she always tells me how she loves the cards I made for her. She was pretty thrilled with this set because she loves the paper but also loved the cute butterfly embellishments! I love them, too!
They lay flat and do not bulk up your projects! The perfect little add on!

Coffee & A Mystery Card Challenge

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Hope your weekend is off to a great start!
I have a few errands to run this morning then i'm planning on doing so stamping this afternoon. We are in for a chilly/cold weekend here in PA with the chance of some wet snow flurries. That doesn't sound very springy does it? I am going to take advantage of it and do some creating.

Yesterday I watched another Facebook Live with Marisa from Kitchen Table Stamper and played along with the Coffee & A Mystery Card Challenge. It was to create a Gift Card Holder.
Here are the things we needed to make the challenge...

Here is my Gift Card Holder...

A friend of mine is having a birthday in April and I thought the Pansy Patch bundle was perfect for creating a springy birthday card! I will add a Panera Gift Card once it gets closer to her special day!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pansy Patch
Ink: Bumble Bee, Fresh Freesia
Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Pansy Petals DSP
Accessories: Pansy Dies, Tailor Made Tags Dies, White Glittered Ribbon, Iridescent Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm not crazy on Pansies but I really love this suite of products!
It makes the prettiest cards! I am thrilled that this bundle has carried over into the NEW Stampin Up! catalog that will be coming in May but sadly the DSP won't carry with it. I made sure to order myself another pack as the one I have now is almost gone.

I'm not sure why when Stampin Up! brings out a new suite of products that have Designer Series Papers to coordinate with it and it ends up carrying over into a new catalog that the DSP doesn't carry over with it? I wish they would start to reconsider this option in the future.

Hand Penned Birthday

Hello & Happy Thursday, Friends!

The weekend is almost here!
They are saying more wintry weather for Saturday. I really hope not.
Yesterday's weather turned out to be a sloppy wet mess and thankfully the snow did not stick around very long!

Today I have a pretty set of birthday cards to share using the Hand Penned Suite.
I made these to put on my card rack.

Card Details:

Stamps: Hand Penned, Pansy Patch
Ink: Mist Moonlight, Memento Black, Stampin Blends- Misty Moonlight, Pale Papaya, Mint Macaron
Cardstock: Pale Papaya, Misty Moonlight, Basic White, Hand Penned DSP
Accessories: Painted Texture 3D EF, Circle Layering Framelits, Penned Flowers Dies, Genial Gems, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

A beautiful suite of products that I really like!
The papers are a bit busy but I think with this design it helps to keep them calmed down and your eye is drawn to the focal point.

Parts & Pieces Challenge

Good Morning & Happy Sunday, Everyone!

It's a beautiful sunny morning here in PA after a very cold day yesterday.
Temps are to get to 50 this afternoon but it's to get very windy again.
We just can't seem to shake the wind but I guess that's a tell tail sign we are headed into March!

On Friday I decided to play along with a Facebook Challenge that Marisa Alvarez did during her Thursday FB Live that she does every week on her FB page.
This challenge was called parts & pieces and she tells you what you need like sizes in cardstock & DSP. Then it's up to you to design your cards with those measurements. She used the Honey Bee bundle and the Friendly Hello from the SaleABRation offering.
We can decorate our cards however we please but have to use the "Parts & Pieces" that she gives us.

Here is the challenge...

Here are my cards...

My cardbase measured 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.
I ran one half of my cardbase thru the Big Shot with the Tasteful Textile 3D EF.
Next I cut my Pansy Petals DSP to the challenge size of 3 x 5. That 3 x 5 piece we can cut down but the size cannot be any bigger. I cut mine down. 2 pieces measured 1 x 3. And 1 piece measures 3 x 3. I staggered those pieces on mixing up the patterns.
My diecut sentiment panel is from the Hippo & Friends Dies. I stamped my sentiment on it from the Pansy Patch stamp set and glued it down.
Next I diecut my pretty flowers from the Pansy Petals DSP using the coordinating Pansy Dies. I diecut a large and a small pansy from the DSP and layered them along side my sentiment. Lastly, I added a Bumble Bee Gingham bow and some Polished Pink In Color Jewels for a pop of sparkle.

I was so thrilled with these and love the texture that the embossing folder gives my cards.
I made a pack of 5 and put them on my card rack to sell.

Card Details:

Stamps: Pansy Patch
Ink: Polished Pink
Cardstock: Pale Papaya, Basic White, Pansy Petals DSP
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Hippo & Friends Dies, Pansy Dies, Bumble Bee Gingham, In Color Jewels, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Apples & Pears, OH MY!

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Hope your weekend is off to a great start!

We are up bright & early this morning as my dear hubby has to head in to work.
His work has mandated the vaccines and so many have not gotten them that they are walking off the job and quitting. They must be vaccinated by Nov. 1st or lose their jobs. He will most likely lose 3 of his guys. The one even went to see his lawyer to see what could be done about it. He has a bunch of great hard working guys that have been there many years but will not comply with the mandate. So now Shawn is busting his butt to keep things moving but after a week....I can see how tired & worn out he is. It's just never ending!

So, today I have one last set of apple cards to share with you!

As I went on a scavenger hunt to look for apple paper I found this pack of Tutti Fruitti from a few years ago and thought this would make a nice set of cards. Not only does it have red & green apples but pears, too! Luckily, I had enough to create this set of cards and use a mix of the patterns to coordinate with the colors in my apple DSP!
I started with a Real Red cardbase then a layer of Basic White that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Timeworn Type 3D EF. It's my new favorite! LOL
Then I cut all my DSP 2x3 and staggered them on my Basic White panel. I love this look as I think it's pleasing to the eye!
I then diecut some tags with Basic White cardstock using the Tailor Made Tags Dies (another favorite!) and stamped my sentiment on them in Real Red ink. The saying comes from the Pansy Patch stamp set. Lastly, I added a pretty sheer Real Red bow to each tag and added some Red Rhinestones for a bit of sparkle. I do believe these were my favorites from all the apple cards! I was very fond of the Real Red bows!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pansy Patch
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Tutti Fruitti DSP (retired)
Accessories: Timeworn Type 3D EF, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Real Red Sheer Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

And of course, my card lady loved them as well!

Thank You Cards

 Hello & Happy Friday!

Today I have another set of apple cards to share!
My card lady is on a roll with apple cards since it is apple picking season around here. I pulled out a retired stamp set called Tart & Tangy and got to work.

First I went thru my papers and found scraps of this pretty paper from October Afternoon. I'm not sure when this was available but it was a long time ago.
I started with a Real Red cardbase then a layer of Very Vanilla that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Tasteful Textile 3D EF. Next I added a 1 x 5 piece of retired Old Olive DSP then my cute apple paper. I had enough to make this set of cards with a few pieces left. I tried to make it work with what I had left.
Then I stamped my apple image using Real Red & Old Olive Stampin Write Markers. They were diecut with Very Vanilla Circle Layering Framelits then matted with an Old Olive Scalloped Circle. My sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso and diecut with the Seasonal Layers Dies. Lastly, I added 1 Red Rhinestone to each apple and popped up the sentiment panel.

Card Details:

Stamps: Pansy Patch (sentiment), Tart & Tangy (retired)
Ink: Early Espresso, Real Red & Old Olive Stampin Write Markers
Cardstock: Real Red, Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Old Olive DSP (retired), October Afternoon Paper
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Circle Layering Framelits, Seasonal Layers Dies, Red Rhinestones, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Pansy Petals HB

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I am sharing a set of cards that I made for that recent card order.
My card lady requested another pack of cards using those pretty pansies!
I pulled out my Pansy Petals DSP and cut some strips to use for one of my favorite layouts!

I have gone thru 3/4 of this package of DSP and that means I might have to order another one eventually! This paper is so darn pretty!
Each card has a diecut pansy from the DSP on it.

Card Details:

Stamps: Pansy Patch
Ink: Fresh Freesia
Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Soft Succulent, Basic White, Pansy Petals DSP
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits, Pansy Dies, Soft Succulent Ribbon, Soft Succulent In Color Jewels, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These are my favorites and my card lady loved them!

Pansy HB

Hello & Happy Friday!

Yay! We made it to another weekend!

Today I am sharing a card that I made for my customer who requested a Pansy card for a very good friend of hers using the Pansy Patch stamp set.

Her friend's favorite color is pink so this card is loaded with the new In Color, Polished Pink! It's a bright color reminding me of Pink Passion from many years ago!
Those pretty pansy flowers were diecut from the  Pansy Petals DSP using the Pansy Dies. I love that they do this with their dies & DSP!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pansy Patch
Ink: Polished Pink
Cardstock: Polished Pink, Basic White, Pansy Petals DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Pansy Dies, Polished Pink Ribbon, Bumble Bee Trinkets, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Pansies are my least favorite flower but I have loved playing with this suite of products! I have more cards to share coming up using this suite!

Sneak Peek!

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I want to share a sneak peek of a new suite of products that is coming from the NEW Stampin Up! 2021-2022 Annual Catalog!
This suite is the Pansy Petals line that is really nice!
I'm not a fan of pansies but I am loving this suite!

This new suite of products will be available starting May 4, 2021.

Do you see that little gold bumble bee?
I wasn't going to order it on the preorder but I am so glad I did!
They are so cute and I don't think it bulks up the card.
I added that to my card with glue dot.

I know the Stitched Shapes Framelits are retiring along with the Square Layering Framelits but you will continue to see me using them! I'm really sad that they retired these amazing dies!

Here are all the details!!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pansy Patch
Ink: Polished Pink
Cardstock: Polished Pink, Bumble Bee, Whisper White, Pansy Petals DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Square Layering Framelits, Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon, Bumble Bee Trinkets, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

What do you think?

I haven't yet played with the flower stamps & dies but I hope to soon!
This suite is perfect for this time of year!
