Greatest Part of Christmas

Hello & Happy Thursday!

I spent most of yesterday working on Christmas treats!
Today I have 2 more things to finish up then I need to move on to some non holiday cards.
I also need to get my Thanksgiving cards addressed and out in the mail.
It just seems some days are very productive and some aren't!

I have a set of Christmas cards to share today that I made a while back.
This set uses Kaisercraft patterned paper and a hostess set from Stampin Up called Greatest Part of Christmas.

I believe I picked this paper up at L&L Rubber Stamps on one of my trips there over the summer and i'm working hard to use up what's in my stash!
Isn't that sentiment pretty?! I love the font!

Card Details:

Stamps: Greatest Part of Christmas (hostess)
Ink: Always Artichoke (retired)
Cardstock: Thick Very Vanilla, Very Vanilla, Kaisercraft Paper
Accessories: Stitched Nested Dies, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

They don't get any easier than this!

Rustic Retreat HB

Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

Late post today as I was able to sleep in this morning!
That doesn't happen too often anymore.
Tuesday when I was at the doctors I got a tetanus shot since my last one was 2009.
Yesterday I woke up with a sore arm from it. The nurse did tell me this would happen.

So, today I am doing some laundry and just taking a breather.
I am aching from top to bottom....maybe from over doing it the last few days or maybe from the cooler weather we have. It feels like Fall today!

I have the last card from Saturday's Stamp Day w Friends to share.
I only had 4 cards to make which is less than usual. I thought I had 2 more kits ready!

This card uses the Rustic Retreat set from the Stampin Up Annual Catalog on page 49.
It's a Million Dollar achiever set by Mary Polcin.

This is a great set for masculine images but it also has some that could be used for Christmas along with several sentiments which includes the Happy Birthday and a Christmas one!

Card Details:

Stamps: Rustic Retreat
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Mint Macaron, Whisper White, Kaisercraft DSP (Mountain Air Collection- Outdoors)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Silver Metallic Enamel Dot, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card took all but 10 minutes to stamp and put together!
The girls love the masculine style cards!

Christmas Cards

Hello & Happy Saturday!

My girls are off to doggy day spa this morning so I am going to make this a quick update.
Today's cards were made with some beautiful papers I found at L&L about a month ago.
It is made by Kaisercraft.

There is no stamping on these!
Everything on these is what is on the papers!
And that copper foil in it is gorgeous!

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Basic Black, Copper Foil
Accessories: Petal Pink Ribbon, Copper Cord, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These are so much prettier in real life than what they look here.
This is one of those examples of the paper doing all the work!

Season's Greetings Card Set

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!

Our weather here in PA was very nice but I have to say that I feel bad for those folks down in Texas dealing with all that rain & flooding.

We made our way home from Baltimore Saturday night around midnight. It was quite an experience going to see an actual football game and as much as I enjoyed it I do not think I would go again. We drove to Hunt Valley, MD and hopped on the Maryland Lightrail which takes you directly to the M&T Bank Stadium and many other places too. The football game was good but it was hard to focus on it with so much going on around you. We sat 12 rows from the bottom which was fantastic....you could see everything! For me personally, i'd rather sit in my own home and watch. You will know more of what's happening. The Ravens won against the Buffalo Bills 13-9. WooHoo!

So, today is my cleaning day and before I head off to get started on that I wanted to share a set of cards I whipped up for Christmas.

This patterned snowflake paper I picked up at the Flower & Craft Warehouse a few weeks ago. It's such a pretty purple paper with silver foil snowflakes in it! I thought it went great with the Snowflake Sentiment stamp set!

Season's Greetings Card Set:

Stamps: Snowflake Sentiment
Ink: Versamark
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Silver Foil Paper, Kaisercraft
Accessories: Heatgun, Silver Embossing Powder, Silver Trim Ribbon, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope to get back to get more of this paper, eventually!
It makes pretty cards!

Merry Monday Challenge 193

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a great weekend!

Today we have a new challenge for you from over at Merry Monday!
Linda is our hostess this week, so let's get to it!

I have one stamp that has bells on and I just did not want to use it for this challenge. As I looked around my stash I found this patterned paper that had these vintage Santa's on and this one was holding a bell!! I cut it out and mounted it on the opposite side of the patterned paper for a quick card! I know I made a card almost like this last year but the images are different. I love the vintage feel of this card.

Merry Monday Challenge 193 Card:

Stamps: None
Ink: None
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Kaisercraft DSP
Accessories: Antique Brad, Cherry Cobbler Sheer Ribbon, Tombow Liquid

I hope you will stop by the Merry Monday blog to check out the cards from the design team! Many different varieties of bells to inspire you!

That's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Christmas Goodies

Hello & Happy Monday!

Just a reminder that there is no Merry Monday this week.
Since we are on a holiday break I am continuing to share Christmas items from my craft show season.

The Lindor Truffle bags I picked up at the Dollar Tree and added a pretty topper to it using the "Oh, What Fun" stamp set. I made these up as "Thank You" gifts for special orders.

Here are more Crystal Light containers covered with paper and decorated. I filled these with the Hershey's Minature's Candies. The pretty snowflake paper is from Kaisercraft. The stamp set used is Flurry of Wishes from the Stampin Up Holiday Mini Catalog 2015.

I hope you are enjoying the holiday break!
I have been relaxing and giving my hands a much needed break!
I have already taken down my holiday decorations and packed them away for another year.
Today I have a few chores around the house to do then hopefully heading to my craft room to do some cleaning out and reorganizing. It finally feels like winter has arrived. Today's temps are much colder than our 70 degrees yesterday! Crazy weather!!!

That is all for me today!
Stay tuned this week as I continue to share my Christmas goodies and then on Thursday (New Years Eve), I will share my Year in Review! For me it's always fun to look back on all the things I created!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Merry Monday Challenge #154

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! My mom's birthday get together went very well yesterday and we had some beautiful weather to go with it! Hard to believe she is 75!

So today we have a new challenge for you over at Merry Monday
Nina is our hostess so let's get to it!

This was a toughie for me since I don't do "vintage" very well. I was unsure what to do! I came across this paper at my last trip to L&L Stamps. It had lots of different vintage style Ole Saint Nick's on it so I picked it up. I ended up cutting this one image out of it and then using the back side of the same paper to layer it on. I used a PSX stamp for my sentiment and added some cherry cobbler sweater trim to finish it off. It looked ok to me! LOL What do you think? Vintage or not?

Merry Monday Challenge #154 Card:

Stamps: PSX Sentiment
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Kaisercraft-Yuletide Collection DSP
Accessories: Antique Brad, Cherry Cobbler Sweater Trim, 2 Sided Tape

Hope you will stop by the Merry Monday Blog to see what the ladies have created! This group of ladies always has some really amazing idea's! Can't wait to see all the vintage style cards in the gallery this week! Hope you'll play along!

Well, that's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a marvelous Monday!
