Ornate Thanks

Hello & Happy Friday!

Today is the start of some very hot weather coming our way!
I think for the next week I seen temps in the upper 90's with high humidity.
I'm not at all looking forward to that and will be hibernating inside!

I have a busy day ahead with getting ready for my Stamp Day w/ Friends tomorrow morning!
I've got 5 projects ready for them and what better way to stay cool then to spend it friends stamping!
I will share those projects next week.

Today I have a set of quick & simple Thank You cards that my card lady ordered back in May.
Life got away from me back then so I am playing a bit of catch up!

I used Stampin Up's Whisper White Notecards & Envelopes to crank these out quickly!
The toughest part was running the delicate die thru the Big Shot and getting all those pieces out.
I used the Big Shot Die Brush (retired) to do that and it actually went very fast.

Card Details:

Stamps: Ornate Thanks
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Whisper White Notecards & Envelopes, Terracotta Tile, Ornate Garden Specialty DSP
Accessories: Ornate Borders Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

No ribbon or rhinestones added to these to keep them flat for mailing.
And if you know me, that is a hard task!
I love the bows and lots of bling!

The Ornate Garden Suite is a beautiful variety of products!
Lots of flowers which makes me smile!
Hope you like my quick Thank You cards today!

Thank You for Caring...

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your week is going smoothly.
The last few days here in Pennsylvania the weather has been absolutely gorgeous!
I'd be a happy girl if it would stay this way the rest of the summer.
Sunshine & 70's is my favorite weather! 🌞

Yesterday I had every intention on posting here because I needed to make a few more Thank You cards.
We received a wonderful gift basket from Shawn's work and a gift certificate and beautiful letter from my card lady for my Dad's passing. I started out making my cards then just ended up in tears.
Last week I was so sick I could barely get out of bed.
Surely it is my nerves getting the best of me and I know I have to push thru this one way or another but still give myself time to grieve. This has been one of the toughest losses I ever had to experience and the family situation has only made this 10 times harder...

I did manage to get these cards made and I wanted to share them.

My sentiment comes from a retired set called Lots of Thanks.
I felt like this sentiment was perfect for what I wanted it to say.
The ink & cardbase is a new 2020 In Color called Bumble Bee.
The gingham ribbon is also Bumble Bee!

I put a close up picture of the sentiment panel that was stamped and diecut with the Ornate Frames Dies that came out last year with a Halloween stamp set. The stamp set did not make the cut but the dies made it thru to the new catalog! They are very intricate and beautiful!

My paper is from the Ornate Gardens Suite of products.
I think it is one of my favorites!
Each sheet is beautiful and has Gold Foil in it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Lots of Thanks (retired)
Ink: Bumble Bee
Cardstock: Bumble Bee, So Saffron, Whisper White, Ornate Gardens Specialty DSP
Accessories: Ornate Frames Dies, Rectangle Stitched Framelits, Bumble Bee Gingham Ribbon, Champagne Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

On a better note, yesterday I heard from my hair girl.
They are finally reopening the hair salon on Friday.
She made my appointment for first thing Sunday morning!
I've not had a haircut since Feb 9th...

Ornate Garden Fun Fold

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Hope your enjoying your weekend!
It's a rainy start to our day here in PA but the sun is to come out later.
I am headed to my stamp table to work on a card order that I got yesterday from my card lady.

I have 2 cards to share again today that I whipped up with the Ornate Garden Suite.
I just love the DSP !

These are a fun Z Fold style that I love making!

Cardbase is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
Score on the 8 1/2 side at 1 1/4 and again at 4 1/4
The 1 1/4 score you want to fold that forward.
Then decorate as you like!

Card Details:

Stamps: Accented Blooms
Ink: Mint Macaron
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Mint Macaron, Whisper White, Ornate Garden Specialty DSP
Accessories: Ornate Floral EF, Tailored Tag Punch, Mint Macaron 1/4 Ribbon, Gilded Gems, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love this suite of products and let me say that the dies that come with it are amazing!
I haven't touched them yet but hope to play with them later!

Ornate Garden Cards

Good Morning & Happy Friday!

Yesterday I sat and played with a new suite of products that Stampin Up released early called Ornate Garden. It's a beautiful suite of stamps, dies & paper! Oh and an embossing folder!

The DSP is very pretty with lots of floral prints!
This card uses the Daisy Punch.

Card Details:

Stamps: Ornate Thanks, Daisy Delight
Ink: Early Espresso, Mint Macaron
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Mint Macaron, Ornate Garden Specialty DSP
Accessories: Daisy Punch, 1/2 Circle Punch, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Both cards are addressed and headed out in the mail today...destination unknown!
I have been trying to make cards to send out to let people know they in my thoughts during this strange time we are all going thru.
Last evening I popped out for my weekly groceries.
The wearing of the masks is just odd to me but one I feel is necessary!
And the grocery store line to check out was wrapped around the store.
Everyone followed the rules but there was such a cold feeling about people.
No warmth, no smiles...nothing.
I hope things soon clear out so life can get back to some sort of normal...
