Winterly Birthday Set

 Hello & Happy Monday!

We've got a snow day ahead! The snow has been falling here since about 4 am and looks like to continue into this evening. Going to be a coffee kind of day to stay warm! I got my 2025 calendars finished yesterday!! YAY! Once I get them photographed I will share them here.
Today I have a set of cards I made for Audrey in her last order and I think these are perfect to share on a snow day!

Card Details:

Stamps: Everyday Greetings & Greetings of the Season (both Online Exclusives)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Basic White, Nests of Winter DSP
Accessories: Winterly Tree Tops Dies, Greetings of the Season Dies, Deckled Rectangle Dies, Cherry Cobbler/Gold Ribbon, Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The Pool Party snowy print is from the Nests of Winter DSP and the pretty birds are diecut from another sheet of the same paper pack. These are the perfect card for those cold & snowy January birthdays, don't you think?

I really like these and so did Audrey!

Happy Birthday

 Hello & Happy Monday!

It's the last Monday of 2024 and I am getting things back to normal and posting some cards that I made a few weeks ago. A friend was looking to buy a variety of different occasion cards to use for Christmas gifts this year so I got busy making some cards for her to choose from.
This uses all retired products which I really enjoyed pulling out and using.

Card Details:

Stamps: Happiest of Birthdays (retired)
Ink: Just Jade (retired)
Cardstock: Just Jade (retired), Bumble Bee (retired), Basic White, Flower & Field DSP (retired SAB 21)
Accessories: Deckled Rectangles Dies, Bumble Bee In Color Enamel Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Love the colors of this paper which made for a really nice birthday card!
Fortunately, I have an entire pack of this DSP in my stash and I will need to replenish my card rack eventually!

Favored Flowers Anniversary Set

 Good Monday Morning, Everyone!

Hope your weekend was a nice one!
It's still pretty hot & humid here! I'm hoping for an early Fall at this rate!
We usually have some strong cold fronts come thru giving us a few days of nice refreshing air but that hasn't happened much this summer and I know for many this heat & humidity is quite bothersome. Last evening Shawn & I walked the neighborhood and once we got home neither one of us felt good. We both reached for a Ginger Chew before heading to bed.

Today I have another set of cards to share with you. I used the retired Favored Flowers DSP again because it was out on my stamp table and it does have some pretty prints in it that I thought would make some great Anniversary cards. This set will go on my card rack. Since I have the free time I am working ahead on making card sets. I told Shawn yesterday that I will have cards made for when I turn 80 and my hands don't work anymore! LOL

Card Details:

Stamps: Everyday Greetings (Online Exclusives), Greetings of the Season (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Favored Flowers DSP (retired SAB 2023)
Accessories: Deckled Rectangle Dies, Greetings of the Season Dies (Online Exclusives), Fresh Freesia Ribbon (retired), In Color Fresh Freesia Jewels (retired), Glue Dots, Stampin Seal Adhesive

I can't remember at the moment what this technique is called. My small piece of DSP is diecut straight from the middle of the larger DSP piece and layered on with another piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock. I think this is the first time I ever tried this. I kept everything flat on these for easy mailing.

Gorgeously Made Thank You's

 Good Thursday Morning, Everyone!

Hope your day is off to a great start!
I am up way too early this morning because I couldn't sleep. By noon I will be ready for a nap! *sigh*  I have a full day of things to do then a grocery store run this evening so I doubt a nap will be included. It's going to be a bit of a warm one today here in PA. Thankfully, Shawn got all the air conditioners in last evening so we are now ready for the warmer weather! LOL
Today I have a set of cards to show you that I made yesterday with the Masterfully Made Suite that retired. It was out on my table since I wanted to try and put a dent into using up the DSP and create some more Thank You cards. This set is going to Audrey with her next order.

Card Details:

Stamps: Gorgeously Made (retired)
Ink: Berry Burst
Cardstock: Berry Burst, Bubble Bath, Vellum, Masterfully Made DSP (retired)
Accessories: Gorgeously Made Dies, Deckled Rectangle Dies, Adhesive Backed Sequins Trio, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I personally love the combination of colors especially the Berry Burst!
I don't think I really ever cared for it when it was an In Color several years ago but since Stampin Up! brought it back I really do like it!

So, I still do have lots of this DSP left so you may see more of it down the road.
This particular print is one of the prettiest in the pack. It pulls the Berry Burst, Bubble Bath, Pretty Peacock & White all together.

Planted Paradise

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

Today I have an extra special card to share with you!
This one is a mish mash of products. This card was originally an Easter card that I made years ago. The paper is from 2014 called Watercolor Wonder DSP and it had a stamped tulip image on it. As I was going thru my Easter cards last week I noticed the image was colored with Copics and there was a water spot on it which made the ink bleed. I pulled that tulip image off and instead of throwing the card away I just added something else to the front. That DSP is just so pretty so I did not want to waste it. I pulled out my Planted Paradise set and got to work. Planted Paradise was given to demo's as a free gift last Fall for participating in On Stage. I wasn't quite sure I was going to like it but surely has been quite the surprise!

I apologize ahead of time for the dark pictures.
We've had many days this week of gloomy weather.

Card Details:

Stamps: Planted Paradise, Translucent Florals (saying)
Ink: Island Indigo (retired), Lucky Limeade (retired)
Cardstock: Island Indigo (retired), Lucky Limeade (retired), Basic White, Watercolor Wonder DSP (retired)
Accessories: Deckled Rectangle Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Layers Floral 3D EF, Island Indigo Enamel Heart (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was very surprised that when I pulled out the Island Indigo & Lucky Limeade ink pads that they were both still pretty juicy! And they were the old linen pads, too!

Today my demonstrator preorder is to arrive!
The new catalog starts May 1st and a perk of being a demonstrator is getting to order early. I have so much from the last year that has carried over which makes me happy! I only ordered the new In Color items like ink pads, cardstocks, Stamping Blends & a pack of the In Color DSP. And guess what? If you've been around Stampin Up for many, many years you might remember a color called Pretty in Pink.....well it's coming back as a new in Color for the next 2 years! That just makes me so HAPPY! I still have some leftover pieces of cardstock, DSP and some ribbons in that color! I sorta kinda hoard everything! LOL

I hate the days when I have to clean but it always feels so good when it's done and everything smells fresh & clean!
I have a set of Sympathy cards to share today that I made for on my card rack. I used a mix of old & new on these.

Card Details:

Stamps: Something Fancy, Wonderful World (SAB 22)
Ink: Poppy Parade, Stampin Write Markers-Poppy Parade, Mint Macaron (retired)
Cardstock: Mint Macaron (retired), Basic White, Ringed of Love DSP (SAB 22)
Accessories: Deckled Rectangle Dies, Everyday Details Dies, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have always loved the Wonderful World stamp set and lately I have been trying to use it!
The floral stamps are so pretty!

Year to Celebrate

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your all doing well!
I was down & out all weekend with one of the worst migraines I ever had! At one point I wasn't sure if I was going to live or die. It was the worst one I have ever experienced. I was never one for getting migraines up until a few years ago and each time I get them they get more painful. I need to have a talk with my doctor about it because Excedrin did nothing for me this time. I did not get nauseated or sick but my body & stomach are surely off. Yesterday I did get a shower and tried to feel some what normal but wow, it zapped my energy really quick. Back to bed I went. Today is a new day and i'm hoping the headache does not come back and I can muster thru getting some house work done.

ETA: I was not up to doing my housework today. I showered, put my pj's on and went back to bed. I hope tomorrow will be a better day and if not I promised Kelsey I would call the DR.

So, today I want to share another set of birthday cards that I made with some Merry Bold & Bright DSP that just recently retired. This pack of DSP is like a hidden treasure...one side has a Christmas print on and the other could be used for something other than Christmas. I chose this big bold polka dot print to add to my Year to Celebrate cards...

Sadly, this stamp set had retired too but it's definitely one that could be used all year long!

Card Details:

Stamps: Year to Celebrate (retired)
Ink: Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Basic White, Merry Bold & Bright DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Deckled Rectangle Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Hot Pink Gingham Ribbon (from stash), Glue Dots, Glossy Dots Assortment (Melon Mambo), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Perennial Lavender

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Our day is starting out VERY cold and quite snowy!
We are not getting out of the low 20's today and that wind just makes it feel worse. I will be hibernating in my stamp room again today. I finished up my 2024 Calendars yesterday! I will share them soon.

Today I have another set of cards to share with you that I made for Audrey. This pack is also a no sentiment set so that she can use them for whatever occasion arises. She sends out lots of cards so I am sure she will go thru these quick. I pulled out my Perennial Lavender DSP and whipped this set up for her.

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Perennial Lavender DSP
Accessories: Deckled Rectangle Dies, Purple Fine Shimmer Gems, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were so quick & easy to whip up and I made them flat for easy mailing!
She loved this pack with those pretty lavender flowers on the front. That DSP is beautiful as I have used a good bit of it already. I haven't used the Perennial Postage Bundle that also goes with this paper but I hope to play with it soon.

Trucking Along

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Yesterday I finished up my Christmas treats!! YAY!
I will grab pictures today so I can share them with you soon.
Shawn was off yesterday so I hated to be working but I needed to get them wrapped up. He took a big long nap in the afternoon while I finished them up then we popped up to the restaurant for a quick supper. I wanted to be home by 6 to watch a movie on the Hallmark Channel called Holiday Road. I missed the premiere last week and one of my favorite Hallmark actors, Warren Christie, is in it.

Well, this movie turned out to be really good and what a tear jerker!
I am happy we were able to watch it and it is definitely in the top 10 Christmas movies this year! If your a watcher of the Hallmark Christmas movies...This is a must watch!

So, let's get to my card today, shall we?!

I pulled out my Trucking Along bundle and made a super quick card with it.
I used Lost Lagoon & Pebbled Path on this which I pulled the colors from the paper.
I also used this bundle on a project for my upcoming Christmas Stamp Day w/ Friends get together which I will share next week!

Card Details:

Stamps: Trucking Along (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Lost Lagoon, Pebbled Path
Cardstock: Lost Lagoon, Basic White, One Horse Open Sleigh DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Deckled Rectangle Dies, Adhesive Backed Snowflakes (Online Exclusives), Pebbled Path In Color Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card turned out so nice and I love the colors together!
It also lays completely flat for easy mailing!

Today I am headed downstairs to clean and get ready for Saturday!
I'm not sure my hands can handle another day of stamping right now.
I've been awake since 3am because they are hurting.
Tis the season!

It started to lay on the grassy area's before it stopped.
It lasted a few hours,
It also was pretty cold yesterday. Burrr!

Stamp Day w/ Friends Card # 1

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Everyone!

I hope your enjoying a relaxing Fall weekend!

Today I am sharing card #1 from yesterday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together.
This year Stampin Up! gave us this beautiful Autumn Leaves stamp set with coordinating dies and a very pretty pack of 6x6 All About Autumn DSP. This paper has been a hot commodity and hard to keep in stock. After several backorder issues they have finally retired it so I hope you were able to snag a pack of it! It is the most pretty paper with Fall scenes & a copper foil print on the opposite side. At my Stamp Day we used a few different pieces of this paper and here is the first card we made...

We first started out with our Pretty Peacock cardbase and we used the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks on. I used the leaf mask and we used a Blending Brush to swirl on Pretty Peacock ink. I was never a fan of using masks but over the years I have come to love using them simply because they add some much texture to a card. Once we did that first step we started to put our cards together. Then we stamped our leaves with Mossy Meadow & Pretty Peacock on our Deckled Rectangle Very Vanilla cardstock. We stamped our sentiment which is from the So Sincere stamp set with Pretty Peacock ink. I must say that I am thrilled beyond words that Stampin Up! brought back Pretty Peacock this past year as it was always a favorite color! Next we adhered our foil leaves that I diecut from the Autumn Leaves Dies using the Oxidized Copper Foil Paper and then added our sentiment over top with 2 Dimensionals. We glued the Deckled Rectangle panel down to our cardbase and lastly added our Brushed Metallic Dots to compliment out foil papers. The inside which I did not take a photo of says, Happy Thanksgiving with a Pretty Peacock leaf stamped beside it. This one turned out so pretty and the girls loved it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Autumn Leaves (Million Dollar Achiever Set), So Sincere (Million Dollar Achiever Set)
Ink: Pretty Peacock, Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Very Vanilla, All About Autumn DSP, Oxidized Copper Foil Paper
Accessories: Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks, Autumn Leaves Dies, Deckled Rectangle Dies, Brushed Metallic Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It's always a great time when I get to see my girls and make some cards!

Ringed in Nature Christmas

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I hope your all doing well!
I took a week off to get a few things accomplished around the house while my mojo seemed to take a vacation without me! LOL I haven't stamped in over a week so getting back to my stamp table I was a little rusty! While I was taking a break I got some of my Christmas decorations out and got the family room all done. Our ceramic Christmas trees always look so beautiful lit at night but wow, what a job to get them situated and plugged in. So for the next 8 weeks or so we will be enjoying them as much as we can! I will share a picture as it gets closer to the holidays!

Anyways, I got to play after a few days of cleaning & pulling out heavy totes from the storage room. My back was screaming so yesterday I took the day and played with stamps, paper & ink! It felt good to get back to it! I made a pretty pack of Christmas cards using the Ringed with Nature stamp set. I love these so I may just keep them for myself! LOL

I will tell you that this set was ALOT of work!
The poinsettia flowers were all fussy cut and that in itself is a chore, atleast for me.
Lots of diecutting but the end results made me smile!

Card Details:

Stamps: Ringed with Nature
Ink: Real Red, Garden Green
Cardstock: Real Red, Garden Green, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper, Painted Christmas DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tree Rings Hybrid EF & Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Deckled Rectangle Dies, Gold Ribbon (Online Exclusives), Gold Swirls (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Ringed with Nature Bundle came out in last year's 2022 Holiday Mini Catalog and has carried over into this year's 2023 Annual Catalog which I am thrilled about. It covers all the seasons which makes this set wonderful!

So, today I am finishing up stuff for Saturday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together.
Audrey just called asking for more cards IF I have the time to make them before Thanksgiving. Fingers crossed!
