Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a nice weekend!
My weekend was nice but as usual, they go by so quickly!

Today is a busy day for me.
Since we are in for another day of bright sunshine I decided to clean my windows and reorganize my one closet where I store most of our food supplies. It's a mess and nothing is where it should be so before I get into that I have a project to share that I made for Easter.

Nugget Packs are so easy to make and they are another great seller!

Project Details:

Today I have a card set to share that was made for an order.
The request was for something Christmas-y and since I had the Seasonal Layers Thinlits laying on my desk...that's what I went with.

I apologize for the wonky pictures today. I have been dealing with several styes on my eyes the last 3 days. They make my vision very wonky and they are itchy & painful.

Stamps: Colorful Seasons
Ink: Dapper Denim
Cardstock: Dapper Denim, Whisper White, Smoky Slate, Color Theory DSP
Accessories: Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle Dies, Seasonal Layers Thinlits, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Wilderness Awaits

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Up and at it a bit early this morning!
My hubby has to work today....not sure how long but it definitely was enough to mess up any plans that we had to get out on our bikes & ride.
Last evening we headed out to Lake Redman for a quick walk. Made it back to our car just as it started to get dark. Seen lots of deer on the trail.

So today I have a quick card to share that I made for an outdoor dog loving guy!

I pulled out the Wilderness Awaits stamp set for this one. I really like that set with the different wildlife in it.. My papers are from Max & Whiskers collection from Basic Grey that have been in my stash quite awhile. The teal striped piece is American Crafts and I added some Early Espresso Baker's Twine.

Happy Birthday Card:

Stamps: Wilderness Awaits, Designer Tee ( SAB '17)
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Whisper White, Max & Whiskers- Basic Grey, Stripe- American Crafts
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Die- Lil Inkers, Classic Label Punch, Early Espresso Baker's Twine, 2 Sided Tape

This card was made at the request of my customer for as she said....and outdoorsy kind of guy who loves dogs! I hope I nailed it with this dog image and fun collection of papers!

An Easter Bunny Treat

Hello & Happy Sunday!

The last few weeks in my stamp room have been busy!
I have been a stamping fool making all kinds of treats for the upcoming Easter holiday!
Today's project is one I made up on my own so it would fit these yummy Hershey's chocolate bunnies.

I pulled out some retired Lavender Lace cardstock to match the patterned paper that came from Hobby Lobby. My sentiment is from the Basket Bunch stamp set (Stampin Up) and my stitched bunny die is from Lil Inkers.

Easter Bunny Treats:

Stamps: Basket Bunch (sentiment)
Ink: Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Lavender Lace, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)
Accessories: Perfect Polka Dots EF, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Lil Inkers Stitched Bunny Die, Corner Rounder, Ribbon from Dollar Tree, Sm White Pearls, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So far I think these are my favorite with the colors and that adorable stitched bunny!

Thanksgiving Card

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a Thanksgiving card that was made for my customer with this specific dsp.
She requested this paper after seeing it on her yearly calendar that I made her for 2016.
This was the design I used...

I used the Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangles on this card and my sentiment was punched out with the Wide Oval Punch. 3 small white pearls were added for interest.

Happy Thanksgiving Card:

Stamps: SU Sentiment
Ink: Soft Suede
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Tangelo Twist, Into the Woods DSP
Accessories: Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle Dies, Wide Oval Punch, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This was easy to create especially using those Stitched Rectangle Dies!

My thoughts today....

So yesterday I baked my pumpkin pie & made 2 pumpkin rolls for dessert on Thanksgiving.
Today I have a free day and tomorrow I will get my stuffing ready and get the turkey thawed.
Bring on that turkey dinner! I'm so ready for it!

That is all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Eeeek Your Sweet

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have another Halloween card to share! I'm trying to get a handful whipped up so I can mail a few out in the next week or so. I need to get better about sending out cards!

The stamp set I used on this card was from an oldie but a goodie called Sweet Centers. It coordinated with those little cups that you could fill with candy treats if you punched out the center. I have a slew of those plastic cups that I have been thinking about using up this Christmas and getting them out from my stash. The Pumpkin Pie circle in the center is the part that would get punched out and replaced with the treat cup but today I decided to just use the set to make a card. I added a few rhinestones and left it be. My dsp and Pumpkin Pie panels are die cute with the Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle Dies that I have been trying to use more & more. Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon is used for the bow.

Eeeek Your Sweet Card:

Stamps: Sweet Centers (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Halloween Night Specialty DSP
Accessories: Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle Dies, 1 3/4 Circle Punch, Rhinestones, Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dot, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Sometimes I just love sitting down and pulling out a bunch of stuff and making a card with whatever is in front of me. Most times I like to keep my SU supplies all together for making a card and sometimes I like to mix things up. This card is all Stampin Up today.

*********************************************************

My thoughts today...

Actually my hubby made an apple crisp last evening....
OMGosh it was so good! We've been on a roll lately with Honeycrisp apples and they are just so sweet & juicy without having any caramel or chocolate which is probably a good thing!

That's all I have for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Color Challenge 525

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

A late post today since I was hanging out with my sick hubby. He's been under the weather since Sunday night and has been home the last 2 days. It gets me a bit off my schedule but that's ok. Today I did manage to run the vaccum and straighten up around him. LOL He was a help with playing with Gigi & Bailee and getting our taxes finished up. Him & I both have been dealing with headaches. I'm thinking it's just the change in the weather.

So, late this afternoon I packed up my laptop and headed downstairs to stamp a card for today's Color Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. We are playing Bingo today with a board of pretty colors!

I went diagonal with So Saffron, Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry & Old Olive!

I needed a birthday card for my Mom's 75th birthday on Thursday and I was looking for some springy colors. She loves yellow so I think she will like this card! I'm going to try to pop out this week and get her a basket of different things for her birthday. I can't think of anything in particular that she would need so i'm going to surprise her with a few little things. She likes surprises!

Color Challenge #525 Card:

Stamps: Terrific Tulips, Label Love
Ink: So Saffron, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry
Cardstock: So Saffron, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White
Accessories: Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangles Die, Artisan Punch, White Pearls, Crushed Curry 1.8 Taffeta Ribbon, Stamp A Ma Jig, Dimensionals, 2 Sided Tape

That's all for me today!
Need to run and get my supper finished. Stuffed Shells on the menu tonight! YUM!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Decorative Window Boxes

Hello & Happy Thursday!

I think Spring is finally arriving here in south central Pennsylvania! The spring flowers are pushing up thru the ground and the birds are singing outside my bedroom window in the mornings. I know we have some rain coming the next few days but that's so much better than snow! The saying goes "April showers bring May flowers"! :)

Today i'm sharing some Easter/Spring gifts I made this year. I made one of these back at Valentine's Day (can be seen here) but I did not give it away. It sits on my stamp shelf with my Valentine's Day stamp sets. I cased myself and did these for Easter/Spring.

I took a Decorative Window Box and cut the one end off but made sure I glued the rest of the box together and added a Scalloped Ribbon Punch handle and some DSP to sturdy it up. Inside I added some shred paper that I picked up at my local Dollar Tree Store. I added a Medium Cello Bag filled with different Easter Candies and tied it shut with some Daffodil Delight Grosgrain Ribbon. I took a small Composition Notebook that I also picked up at my local Dollar Tree Store and covered it with the same matching DSP that I used on the box. I decorated that with some flowers from the Flower Shop stamp set. I stamped my flowers in Daffodil Delight & Calypso Coral. I took an RSVP Pen and slide some DSP into the barrel to match. I added all these to my adorable little box and decorated the front. These turned out to be a great seller for me this year! I really like them!

These 2 boxes here were from a specific order I had to add matching gift cards to the box sets. I did notice I forgot to take pictures of the covered notebook and pen before I delivered them to my customer. They are basically the same with the Flower Shop flowers stamped & punched out like the boxes above. I sold the boxes for $6.00 each and the matching gift cards for $2.00 each.

I'm now out of the Decorative Window Boxes so they will be added to my next Stampin Up order!
Hope you liked seeing these. If you have any questions please feel free to shoot me an email.

Well, that's all I have for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Easter Treats of 2015

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I wanted to post yesterday but the day got away from me. My parents came and we went and did some shopping. It was a good day for it! My back felt good and it was a mild day with temps almost hitting 60! We did have some rain showers but that didn't stop us! They spent the day with me shopping then stayed and we had supper together with Shawn & Ryan. It was a good day and it gave us a chance to discuss what we were doing for Easter day!

Today I will share a few more things that I made for Easter. I am done with this holiday but later today I am planning to go downstairs to make a few cards for the family for Easter and quickly get them in the mail. Here are the sweet treats.....

These Russel Stover Marshmallow Eggs I made with Hobby Lobby papers (The Paper Studio), the sentiment from the Well Scripted stamp set (retired) and the bunny die from Lil Inkers! I am completely in love with this bunny die!

I made my usual M&M Sticks. People really like these and they always sell really well. I love the colors of the pastel M&M's! Again, I used the Well Scripted stamp set for my little tag...

My Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs I bagged in a small cello bag and my topper was made with The Paper Studio DSP (from Hobby Lobby) with the circle panel being stamped with the new For Peep's Sake stamp set. This set is awesome! Loved the variety of sentiments in it! Lastly, I added a Pretty in Pink Stitched Ribbon bow. Another great seller!

Last year I started to make these Jelly Bean Treats since there are some people that do not like chocolate. Hard to imagine but it's true! These are another good seller! My topper is made with a digi image from Whimsie Doodles. I colored it with Copic Markers and the patterned papers are The Paper Studio ( Hobby Lobby). I added a Melon Mambo Cotton Ribbon bow to finish it off. This is my favorite of everything! I think it's the colors that grabbed me! :)

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to shoot me an email.

I hope you enjoyed these so far! There is more to come!! Alot more!

But that's all for me today!
Easter cards for my family are on the agenda today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a fabulous day!
Happy April!!
