Sara's Anniversary

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Looking to be a hot & humid day here in Pennsylvania. Even though the calendar says it's the end of August we still have more hot & humid weather to get thru before Fall arrives in a few weeks. We've very much enjoyed the last week or so that it was pleasant out but now the ac is back on.
Today I have one last Anniversary card to share with you!
This card wasn't needed until December so i'm not sure why Audrey requested it so early but this one is for her granddaughter Sara who got married at the end of December in 2023.
This is the wedding card I made and here is the 1st anniversary...

Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Fern (retired), First Frost (retired), Many Mates (retired)
Ink: Baroque Burgundy (retired), Mossy Meadow, Sahara Sand (retired)
Cardstock: Baroque Burgundy, Mossy Meadow, Basic White, Copper Foil Paper
Accessories: Forever Flourishing Dies (retired), Frosted Bouquet Framelits (retired), Burgundy Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I kept trying to add things like sequins and enamel dots but I wanted it to stay as original to the wedding card as I could get it. I also have to remember that Audrey does not like all the sparkle with the rhinestones and ribbons so we kept it original. In the end she loved it!

Ben's Wedding Card

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have another card to share that was part of Audrey's card order that was delivered to her last week. This one is for her youngest grandson who is getting married in May. If you remember I made the bridal shower card almost like the shower invite. Here is the link if you want to see. Bridal Shower Card

She sent me the wedding invite and it was the same as the bridal shower so this is the wedding card I made for it...

I used the same stamp sets with a bit of a different layout. I did not take a picture of the wedding invite this time but we laid the wedding card on top of the wedding invite and it all fell together so nicely! Audrey just loved it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Occasional Quotes (retired), Forever Fern (retired), First Frost (retired), Watercolor Garden (retired)
Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Basic Gray
Cardstock: Basic White, Highland Heather, Silver Foil Paper
Accessories: Frosted Bouquet Framelits, White & Silver Sheer Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots,  Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This is her last grandchild to get married but I have made bridal shower & wedding cards for each of her 5 grandchildren in the last 10 years and I feel like I know most of her family anymore. She is so beautifully blessed to have the family dynamics that she has!

Well, yesterday I managed to get my house cleaned. It took all the umph I could muster up to get it done. Today I said I was going to do the downstairs. Granted, it's not that bad down there since it hardly gets used. This will be on my agenda this afternoon. I have been struggling a little bit with low energy since started the 5mg of Mounjaro. Thankfully that is my only side effect at this time as I know it could be worse. My blood glucose & blood pressure have been really good so the medicine is doing it's job. If you've seen the news (which I do not waste my time on anymore) there is a huge shortage for this injectable medicine. I'm fortunate that my insurance now wants a 90 day supply filled so I am good until the end of June. Hopefully these shortages end by that time!
So, with that said....I am off to get my day started and get the downstairs cleaned! LOL Oh, and Ryan requested Taco Tuesday's for supper! Quick & easy!

Thankfully we don't do Taco Tuesday's every week! LOL

Bridal Shower Card

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

I hope your weekend is off to a good start!
We are starting the day off with some clouds but otherwise no rain around. Going to be another 60 degree day, too! Shawn went fishing this morning, trying to take advantage of the warmer temperatures. I have some laundry to pick at and I would like to go do some stamping in between.

Today I want to share a bridal shower card that I made 2 weeks ago for Audrey. The shower was last Saturday but I haven't heard how it went yet. This week I have another card order to work on for her but she does not need the cards until the end of February so that gives me some time.

The last picture shows the card and the invitation. The colors are purple & gray...

I didn't quite have the right kind of stamps for this invitation but did my best with what I had.

Card Details:

Stamps: First Frost (retired), Forever Fern (retired), Watercolor Mini's (retired SAB 01), Custom Tee (retired)
Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Basic Gray
Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Highland Heather, Basic White
Accessories: Frosted Bouquet Framelits (retired), T-Shirt Builder Framelits (retired), Sheer White Ribbon w Silver Trim, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It did not turn out all that bad and Audrey was pleased with it!

Audrey's Granddaughter's Wedding TODAY!

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

I hope your weekend is off to a good start!
I started yesterday taking down my Christmas decorations.
The kitchen is done and maybe today I will work on my living room.
Shawn will have to help with putting away the ceramic trees so that is why I said maybe today. He has his first physical therapy appointment early this morning so we'll see how much energy he has left! LOL

The card I am sharing today is a real beauty!
I was summoned by Audrey to create a wedding card for her granddaughter, Sara, whom is getting married today! I will share with you the wedding invitation first. I used a post it note over the information on it as I don't want to share that.

Then I created the card and laid it on top of the invitation...

I showed this to Shawn and he said how it matched the invitation!
Then I laid it out for Audrey to see....she was ecstatic!

And here is the card without the invitation...

Everything on this card is retired!!!

Card Details:

Stamps: First Frost (retired), Forever Fern (retired), Occasional Quotes (retired)
Ink: Baroque Burgundy (retired), Mossy Meadow, Sahara Sand (retired), Versamark
Cardstock: Baroque Burgundy (retired), Basic White, Copper Foil Paper
Accessories: Forever Flourishing Dies (retired), Frosted Bouquet Framelits (retired), Copper Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Burgundy Ribbon (retired), Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was so pleased with it and so was Audrey!
I will be anxious to hear from her this week to see how the wedding was.
I'm glad we are in for a nice but chilly day!

Eden's Garden Card # 3

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Today i'm sharing the 3rd card with you from Saturday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together!
This one uses the Eden's Garden Bundle which happens to be on the list for this last month as a free offering with a $100 during SaleABRation. I have a feeling it will be retiring soon that Stampin Up! did this. It has been out for awhile and only recently have I bought it.

I was on the fence with this bundle for a really long time and when it came out in the Fall of 2021 I only purchased the DSP and the Garden Gems from the suite. I used the DSP several times but never opened the Gems until I made this card. Then in December of 2022 I bought the stamp set after Audrey was requesting cards made using greenery that could work for both a man or a woman. Then one day I sat down to create cards for the next several Stamp Day w/ Friends get togethers and I pulled it all out to make a card. The Sending Hugs card was born!

Card Details:

Stamps: Eden's Garden, Forever Fern
Ink: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper, Ever Eden DSP (retired)
Accessories: Eden Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Forever Flourishing Dies, Garden Gems (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This one was probably my favorite but both girls liked it, too!

Yesterday was just one of those kind of days.
I sure hope today is better!

Forever Fern Sympathy Card

Hello & Happy Saturday, Everyone!

Hope your weekend is off to a good start!
We are off to doggy day spa with Miss Bailee this morning. She really needs it!
Afterwards Ryan & Shawn are getting haircuts. I hope to do some stamping later in the day but that depends on whether Shawn wants to do something or not.

Today I am sharing a sympathy card I made.
I have never done a card like this before and the outcome was so pretty!

I started with a 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock.
I punched out a piece of copy paper using a 1 1/2 inch Circle Punch and put a small amount of Tombow Mono Adhesive on it and place it in the center. I started with the one leaf image and stamped it with Mossy Meadow ink. If you were looking at a clock I stamped my 1st leaf at 2, 4, 8 & 10. Then I took the 2nd leaf and stamped it in Night of Navy ink at 3, 6, 9 and 12. Then the 3rd leaf I stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink in between the other 2 inks. I kept it at just those 3 ink colors and did not want to over do it. After that I pulled off the circle copy paper and placed my sentiment there. I was pleased with how it turned out! I am thinking of doing a card like this with the stamp girls in some spring colors! I do think they would like it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Fern, Inspired Thoughts
Ink: Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Rich Razzleberry Enamel Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I also added some stamping on the inside to dress it up!
So pretty!

Forever Fern HB Set

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your having a nice weekend and staying warm!
We had a nice day yesterday! Went to the stamp store for some supplies, dropped off Audrey's card order on her front porch, visited with our friends, Deb & Ed (since we were sick at Christmas and weren't able to get together to exchange gifts) then we stopped at the restaurant for a quick lunch. After that we were both pooped and thought about grabbing a nap but instead I went to my stamp room and had some me time! I was there for about 4 1/2 hours just playing and having fun! I will share that project with you later this week!

Today I have that 2nd pack of birthday cards to share that I made using the Forever Greenery Suite. This set is on my card rack for now...

Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Fern, Go To Greetings
Ink: Garden Green
Cardstock: Garden Green, Basic White, Forever Greenery DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Noble Peacock Rhinestones (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I think this set would work well for a man or a woman and i'm sure down the road Audrey will request another pack like that. I'm ready for it!

Forever Greenery HB Set

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Everyone!

Do you have any fun plans for today?
We are headed out early this morning to deliver Audrey's card order and then go to L&L Stamps! I am in major need for envelopes & Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue! I have maybe 20 envelopes left after I finished up this recent card order. Not sure what we will do after that but it's to be a cold & windy day with temps in the mid 30's! Burrr! No matter what you do, bundle up if your heading out!

As I said I have been working on a card order for Audrey the last few days.
I am sharing one set of birthday cards that she requested that could be used for a man or a woman. I pulled out my Forever Fern stamp set and it's retired Forevery Greenery DSP and got to work. She likes when I use leaves or greenery for this type of card.

I love how these turned out and think Audrey will too!

Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Fern, Big on Birthdays (retired)
Ink: Pretty Peacock (retired), Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock (retired), Pear Pizzazz, Basic White, Gold Laser Cut Specialty Paper (retired), Forever Greenery DSP (retired)
Accessories: Forever Flourishing Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Gold Swirls (retired), Greenery EF (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I kept these flat so postage would not cost her more especially since mailing stuff these days is costing more.
I have loved this suite of products since it came out in 2020. I'm happy that I only have 2 full sheets of this DSP left and some scraps! Tomorrow I will share another pack of cards that I made with this same pack of Forever Greenery DSP. Hope you will come back to see!

Bridal Shower & Wedding Cards

Good Morning & Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a nice weekend!
It was very hot & humid here which was a bit too much, too soon!
My AC ran since Friday afternoon until this morning. We had thunderstorms off & on since Friday and last night it finally brought us a cold front.

Today I am sharing a few pictures of a bridal shower card & the wedding card that was requested from my card lady for a family relative that was getting married in April. The bridal shower was back in February.

Your going to notice a cheese grater in these shower pictures.
My card lady requested a tag that matched the shower card to attach to the cheese grater. It was a little joke that she shares with the soon to be bride.

A friend helped me out with the champagne glasses diecuts since I did not have anything like that.

Bridal Shower Card:

Stamps: Forever Fern, Art Gallery (sentiment)
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Mossy Meadow, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper
Accessories: Double Oval Punch, Unknown Champagne Glasses Diecuts, Glue Dots, Gold Cord, Mossy Meadow Satin Ribbon (retired), Gold Rhinestones, Gold Eyelet, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Here is the wedding card...

Wedding Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Fern, Love & Happiness
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Mossy Meadow, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper
Accessories: Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder, Gold Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My card lady was so happy with both of these cards because they matched the invitations!
I did not save that picture that was on my phone or I would have shared it with you.
