Ribbon Of Courage

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your week is going well so far!

Today I have a quick card to share that uses Ribbon of Courage bundle.
It's a wonderful set with matching dies!

This card was made by request for a woman whom is battling Esophageal Cancer and really needs the courage & strength to keep on fighting. It is horrible some of the issues that cancer patients have to go thru and I hope my cards can bring some hope to the recipients.

I had to Google what the Cancer Awareness Ribbon color was because I did not know.
It was listed as Periwinkle/Light Purple so I used Wisteria Wonder.

Card Details:

Stamps: Ribbon of Courage
Ink: Wisteria Wonder
Cardstock: Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White
Accessories:  Falling Snow EF, Support Ribbon Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Wisteria Wonder Enamel Heart, Wisteria Wonder Baker's Twine, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This set is Patty Bennett's one million dollar sales achiever stamp. She helped in designing it when she hit that milestone. It is a wonderful set for anyone's collection!

Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hello & Happy Friday!

Today I headed to my stamp table after wracking my brain all week trying to come up with an idea to create a card for this week's Tuesday Morning Sketches.
I have to tell you that I struggled with one!
I had such a mess on my table for about 2 hours until something finally fell into place.

Here is this week's sketch and my card.

I had it in my mind to use a Martha Stewart Corner & Border punches that had been sitting on my shelf collecting dust. That part went really well....the part I struggled with was the swirl and the flowers. Guess I was just off today or something. I am happy with the way it turned out though!

Happy Birthday Card:

Stamps: Special Celebrations
Ink: Flirty Flamingo
Cardstock: Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
Accessories: Support Ribbon Framelits, Martha Stewart Corner & Border Punches, Sizzix Swirls Die (retired), Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

If you get a chance stop by the Tuesday Morning Sketches and play along!
They have great sketches every Tuesday!

Pocketful of Sunshine

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a quick card to share that I made to have on hand for when an unexpected birthday pops up! I used the Pocketful of Sunshine bundle for this one. Not really sure I like it as I was just playing around with it but thought i'd still share it.

When I looked at the pocket die all I could vision is this being stamped on Dapper Denim to look like denim so that is that color my card took on. The DSP is from last year and since it is 12 X 12 I have a bunch left. This is a really cute stamp set that I want to get alot more use out of in the future because I love that pocket plus there is a pair of sunglasses in this set as well. Love, love, love!

Pocketful of Sunshine Card:

Stamps: Pocketful of Sunshine
Ink: Dapper Denim
Cardstock: Dapper Denim, Peekaboo Peach, Whisper White, 12 X 12 InColor DSP (retired)
Accessories: Pocket Framelits, Support Ribbon Framelits (flower), Rhinestones, 2 Sided Tape, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The best thing about this card is the fact that you can tuck a gift card or a few dollars into the pocket as a gift! Such a neat idea don't ya think?

Tuesday Morning Sketches

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Yesterday I had a chance to play along with this week's sketch from over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
Here is the sketch and my card....

I thought all week about what I wanted to use for the 3 little flower images in the sketch.
I went thru a bunch of new Framelits and decided to use the pretty diecut flower from the Support Ribbon Framelits that goes with the Ribbon of Courage stamp set from Stampin Up. That little flower is one of the reasons I wanted this set of Framelits! It cuts so nicely!
I used some Clear Faceted Gems for the flower centers and my sentiment comes from the Pocketfull of Sunshine stamp set.
I kept everything monochromatic since I wanted to use this particular sheet of dsp from the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP Pack. This card looks so much better in real life than what my photo picked up. Those gems just sparkle so beautifully!
My center flower is popped up.

Hope you like!
