Lemon Bundt Cakes

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Friends!

Burrr, there is a chill in the air today!
Winter made it's return yesterday just as we were headed out to walk the dogs!
We had graupel!! Yea, I know.....what's that, right??
It is like a mix of hail & snow. Google it....it's definitely a thing!
It was so werid and came down very heavy and lasted about 30 minutes.
In all my 50some years....never seen anything like it!

So, today I am sharing a sweet treat that I made a few weeks ago after watching a Facebook Live. Marisa from over at Kitchen Table Stamper did a video on how to create them.
And it just so happened that I had a box of Hostess Lemon Baby Bundt Cakes in the food closet!

I changed up my box with different colors and papers to coordinate with my Lemon Bundt Cakes. I made 2 of these and gave one to Kelsey. She loves Lemon!

Project Details:

Stamps: What's Cookin', Lemon Zest (retired)
Ink: Lemon Lime Twist (retired), Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Lemon Lime Twist (retired), Basic White, Tutti Frutti DSP (retired)
Accessories: Heart Pack Punch, Cookin' Dies, Hippo & Friends Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Doilies (retired), Corner Rounder Punch (retired), White Crinkle Ribbon, Rhinestones, Velcro Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Kelsey loved it!
She even shared the other cake with her co-worker!
Each box holds 2 Bundt Cakes.

Valentine's Day Treat Boxes

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Everyone!

It's been a busy weekend!
I'm just now getting to sit down and watch the Super Bowl and do a quick blog update.
Who are you rooting for if your watching?

I was able to get my Valentine treats made last week but these were only for a few friends and my family. I did not make any to sell this year due to the issue with my hands.
I watched a Facebook Live event a few weeks ago that Marisa Alvarez did and she created a nice sized box. I printed out the Project Sheet to make when I had the time. She put Hostess Baby Bundt Cakes in hers.

Project Details:

Stamps: Sweet Conversations, Meant to Be (retired)
Ink: Real Red, Blushing Bride, Gorgeous Grape
Cardstock: Real Red, Highland Heather, Basic White, Sweet Talk DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits,  Heart Punch Pack, Sweetheart Dies, White Glittered Ribbon, Highland Heather Grosgrain Ribbon, Iridescent Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These are a nice sized box that I filled with a Hostess Ding Dong Heart Cake and a Reese's PB Heart.

If your interested in making these boxes, here is the link for the tutorial.

I would definitely make these again! Quick & easy and so fun to decorate!

Heartfelt Valentines

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope you all are doing well!
I took a few days off from stamping to give my hands a rest. I had no card orders so I know I am going to have to do that occasionally! I did however do some organizing & cleaning out of my stamp room. I'm sure you can imagine how much stuff gets accumulated in 20+ years!

Yesterday I sat down and made a bunch of cards with all the Valentine's Day stuff laying on my table. Some new, some old and some items that were in my stash from other projects!
Trying to use stuff up and you know I love mixing the old with the new!

Card Details:

Stamps: Heartfelt (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Blushing Bride, Basic White, Sweet Talk DSP
Accessories: Heart Punch Pack, Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder, White Glittered Ribbon, Iridescent Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The Heartfelt stamp set (now retired) was out a few years ago and coordinates with the Heart Punch Pack which is still available. It is probably one of my favorite stamp sets for Valentine's Day! I used it a bunch yesterday!

My thoughts today...

I am praying for a early Spring since it's been so cold!

More Valentine's Day Cards

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Hope your all enjoying the weekend so far!
We are off to doggy day spa this morning and boy, do my girls need it, badly!
They were scheduled 4 weeks ago but we had to cancel their appointments because Gigi was sick.
She's better now but they both really need a bath & haircuts! I know they will feel so much better!

Anyways, I had a chance to do some stamping yesterday as I still need a few Valentine's Day cards.
I already had my pack of From the Heart Specialty DSP out on my table so I played around with it some more. I'm trying to get it used up!

These are the 2 cards I made...

Card #1

Card #2

Card Details:

My thoughts today...

This is a picture of Kelsey when she was a little girl.
She may have been kindergarten age in this picture. She was a clown!
She loved Elmo! We still have her Tickle Me Elmo doll.
And here she is at 27 years old with Shady!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Sending Love Your Way...

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

The snow finally stopped just before noon yesterday!
It was cloudy the rest of the day with winds around 25mph.
Today we have some sunshine to help melt that snow!
And did you see the groundhog predicted 6 more weeks of winter?!
Not exactly what any of us on the east coast want to hear! LOL

Today I have another Valentines Day card to share using the opposite piece of From My Heart Specialty DSP from the card on Monday.

This is just the opposite of the layout from Monday's card because I did not want to waste that pretty heart paper! My sentiment was stamped on Whisper White cardstock and hand cut with my paper trimmer, Then I added a hole with my retired handheld hole punch so I could tie some Red Twine on it. I popped it up on Dimensionals and was done!
I made 5 cards using these same layouts but using all different sayings from different stamp sets.
I had to dig to find some that would work for Valentines Day and I love how they all turned out!
I will share the rest tomorrow!

Card Details:

Stamps: Posted For You
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White, From The Heart Specialty DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Wrapped In Texture EF (retired), Heart Punch Pack, Handheld Hole Punch (retired), Red Rhinestones, Red Twine, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal+

Roses Are Red...

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I'm so over the cold and now snow & sleet we're experiencing today!
The last several weeks we had temps in the 40's & 50's and I was happy with that!
The very cold came in and it just drives my back crazy.
I have osteoarthritis in the facet joints in my lower back and it really does not take much to make it ache.
Anyways, it's just a yukky kind of day so I am going to go work on some stamp projects before Shawn gets in from work.

I have a Valentines Day cards to share today that I made with a sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches from last year. This is the card I made back in November and I really loved the sketch so I wanted to use it again for some Valentines cards!

Here is my new card using that same sketch...

This card started out with a Real Red cardbase then a layer of Whisper White that was run thru the Big Shot with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Next I used a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folders that are now retired. They will stay in my collection for awhile as I love them!
Next I added a piece of From My Heart Specialty DSP from last year. I think it was cut at 3 3/4 x 3 then cut on the diagonal. I layered that over top of the Flirty Flamingo & Whisper White panels. I punched those pretty hearts from the same package of DSP and laid one flat and the other is popped up with dimensionals,
My sentiment comes from the Heartfelt stamp set which is still current.
I stamped it on Whisper White in Real Red ink and diecut it with the Ornate Frames Dies.
I added a piece of Real Red Twine and some Red Rhinestones and called it done!

Card Details:

Stamps: Heartfelt
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White, From My Heart Specialty DSP (retired)
Accessories: Heart Punch Pack, Wrapped in Texture EF, Tastefully Textile 3D EF, Ornate Frames Dies, Red Twine, Red Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I actually made a few cards like this but all are a bit different!
I will share them later this week so make sure to stop back!

I was pretty pleased with this and I hope you like it, too!

Woven Heirlooms Card Holder w 4 Cards

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you had a nice weekend!
Saturday was a nice day and I managed to get my card order delivered and finish up laundry!
I even got to see my friend Deb for a few minutes as she stood in her driveway and we were down on the street still in our car. Yea, that social distancing thing is just still odd to me!

So, today is my cleaning day and with having a bum neck, not sure what I will get accomplished.
I have another Card Holder and 4 Cards to share with you today!
I have been on a roll with making these because they are so fun!

My Card Holder is made with the same Woven Threads DSP as Debbie used in her class.
I have had my eye on that suite since the catalog went live last June and I finally ordered it recently.
I used a different layout for my cards than hers.
My stamp set, Woven Heirlooms is perfect for a variety of sayings which is what I used on each card.

Project Details:

Stamps: Woven Heirlooms
Ink: Seaside Spray, Rococo Rose
Cardstock: Seaside Spray, Rococo Rose, Whisper White, Woven Threads DSP
Accesories: Heart Punch Pack, Circle Layering Framelits, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon, Rhinestones, 2 Sided Tape, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This Card Holder is already SOLD!
I gave the green one with the Daisies on to my card lady yesterday and she just raved over it!
She is to let me know how many more she wants this week so you'll be seeing more!
Good thing I have enjoyed making them!!

Happy Valentines Day

Hello & Happy Tuesday!
Up and at really early today as hubby's phone woke us up way too early!
Then he gets up and went to work!
I'm pretty sure it's going to be an after supper bedtime tonight!

The bathroom guys are here and are ripping & tearing!
Lots of electrical & plumbing work going on today so i'm not sure we will see much of a difference but atleast things are going in the right direction.

I have a pretty Valentines Day card to share again today.
This is the week of love and Valentines Day is only 3 days away.
I've got my cards addressed and in the mail to their destinations.

This card is also one of my favorites because I love the colors and prints.
The pops of Gold Foil are a nice addition, too!
The Gold Foil circle with a piece of DSP on was from another project that I just added as an element under my heart sentiment. I like how it looks!

Card Details:

Stamps: Heartfelt
Ink: Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Gold Foil Paper, Painted W Love Specialty DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Heart Punch Pack, Melon Mambo Ruched Ribbon (retired), Gold Foil Enamel Dot (retired), Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Happy Valentines Day

Hello & Happy Saturday!

I'm so happy to see the sun shining today!
Hopefully it will motivate us to get started on cleaning out the bathroom and moving Ryan downstairs.

Today I have a set of Valentines Day cards to share that I made for my customer.

This was such a fun suite of products that Stampin Up has this year!
The best part in my opinion is that they have created coordinating punches for the hearts instead of dies!

Card Details:

Stamps: Heartfelt
Ink: Flirty Flamingo
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White, From My Heart Specialty DSP
Accessories: Heart Punch Pack, Heart Doilies, Real Red Rhinestones, Real Red 1/4 Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

How you doing with making your Valentines Day cards?
I still have a few to whip up before I can get them out in the mail on Monday.
Now that football season is over I can spend some time at my stamp table on Sundays!
