Retiring Day #12

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Everyone!

Hope your weekend is going well!
Bailee did beautifully yesterday at her grooming appointment and looks so pretty!
It was a tough thing for me seeing 2 other dogs going into grooming that looked just like Gigi. Then when the mail came we had a card from the Vet's office sending their sympathies. Yep, the tears started both times. I know in time it will get easier but her being gone is still pretty hard.
Today I plan to go to my stamp table and get my Easter cards addressed. Time is running out to get them in the mail since Easter is this coming week! Yikes!

It is day #12 of sharing a card made with a Stampin Up! retiring set.
The set is Handsomely Suited on page 50 of the annual catalog.

I used this set many times especially the sentiments in it but it's a wonderful masculine set plus it has coordinating Suit & Tie Dies!

Card Details:

Stamps: Handsomely Suited
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Basic Gray, Basic White, Handsomely Suited DSP (retired)
Accessories: Suit & Tie Dies, Rhinestone, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Pretty cool, huh?
I think my hubby would like this one for Father's Day!

Fall HB Cards

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week is going well!
Last evening I got my card order delivered.
It's always nice to visit with my card lady!
She was so happy with the Thanksgiving treats and the cards I made for her.
She is like a kid in a candy store when she gets her hands on the cards!

Today I have a set of cards to show that were part of her order.
She always needs birthday cards and asked that they be geared towards Fall.
This is what I made for her.

I started with a cardbase of Bumble Bee cardstock then a layer of Basic White that I ran thru the Big Shot with my favorite, Tasteful Textile 3D EF.
Next I cut a layer of Cinnamon Cider cardstock measuring 3 1/4 x 4 1/4.
I pulled out some retired Flowers for Every Season DSP. I still have 1 pack left that I want to get used up when I can. I used two different prints.
Next I stamped my sentiment in Cinnamon Cider ink using the Handsomely Suited stamp set. I diecut it with the Tasteful Labels Dies.
I added some Cinnamon Cider Ribbon over top of the 2 pieces of DSP to cover that then I added 2 Dimensionals to my sentiment panel and attached it over the ribbon. Then I added a sprig of leaves that I diecut from the Forever Flourishing Dies. I did that with Cinnamon Cider cardstock.
Lastly, I added a few Champagne Rhinestones for a pop of sparkle.
I love how these turned out!

Card Details:

Stamps: Handsomely Suited
Ink: Cinnamon Cider
Cardstock: Bumble Bee, Cinnamon Cider, Basic White, Flowers for Every Season DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Tasteful Labels Dies, Forever Flourishing  Dies, Cinnamon Cider Ribbon, Champagne Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Today I am headed to my stamp table to work on Christmas everything!
Cards, treats & card kits for my next get together with the girls!
That's alot to get accomplished but I am determined! LOL

Best Catch

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

And just like that....we are halfway thru the week!

Today I have a cool masculine card to share that the girls made Saturday!
They love their masculine cards so I always try to have one ready for them.
I used the retired Best Catch and the current set, Handsomely Suited sets...

I left the girls chose which sentiment they wanted to use.
Deb chose the Happy Birthday sentiment and Emily chose the Father's Day sentiment.

Card Details:

Stamps: Best Catch (retired), Handsomely Suited
Ink: Basic Gray
Cardstock: Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Basic White, Well Suited DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Black Matte Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I think they both enjoyed making this one!

Handsomely Suited

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a card to share with you using the Handsomely Suited Bundle which was so fun to create!

I made this card for my card lady whom needed this for her son's birthday!
I have never used the tie from this stamp set until I made this and I really love the look of it! The sentiment comes from the same stamp set.
The Basic White panel under my sentiment I ran thru the Big Shot with the new Bark 3D EF. It reminds me of the retired Old World Map 3D EF that just retired.
I added some retired Pacific Point Enamel Dots to finish this.
I hope she likes this!

Card Details:

Stamps: Handsomely Suited
Ink: Pacific Point
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Basic White, Well Suited DSP
Accessories: Suit & Tie Dies, Bark 3D EF, Circle Layering Framelits, Pacific Point Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love this suite of products but not crazy on the bow ties that are in it.
I really don't know anyone who wears bow ties anymore!

Masculine HB

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Yesterday I had my 1st Stamp Day w Friends get together of the year!
We had so much fun and got 5 cards made within 2 hours!
We started earlier than our set time since we were expecting some winter weather and I am glad that they were able to get back home before it started.

Here is the 1st card we made...

This masculine birthday card is a Z Fold card that went together rather easily.
I always have everything cut and all they have to do is stamp and use the Big Shot for either diecutting or embossing.
The DSP is from Playing With Patterns from the annual catalog. I decided to go with this particular print because I liked the stripes and the colors in it. I was pleased with how this one turned out!

Card Details:

Stamps: Handsomely Suited, Sailing Home
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Bumble Bee, Seaside Spray, Whisper White, Playing With Patterns DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Dies, Painted Texture 3D EF, Smooth Sailing Dies, Bumble Bee Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
