Roses in Winter

 Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!!

A gloomy, rainy start to the weekend but our weather is to improve for Mother's Day weekend! YAY! Today is my dear sweet hubby's birthday! I have a card for him that I will share one day next week so stay tuned for that!
Happy Birthday, Buppie (aka Shawn)!! 💗🎊🎈🎉

Today I have a special card to share that I was asked to make for a friends Mom. She is very close with her mom and wanted something special to give her on Mother's Day. I was happy to help!
I was told she loves flowers, teddy bears and the color burgundy which those hints helped SO much in creating a card for her. I went in search of a special set and found 2 that fit the bill beautifully....Tea Together & Roses in Winter! Both sets are long retired but you know, they still live on in my stamp room!

Every single product used on this card is now retired and I found it so enjoyable to sit and create this! Roses in Winter has always been a favorite of mine. I had the stamp set years ago (2003 to be exact when it arrived in our Stampin Up! Annual Catalog) and when we made the move to Missouri in 2010 I sold it. Many years later I seen it for sale at L&L Stamps and purchased it for alot less than it originally sold for. I was so thrilled to have it back in my collection and I will say that this card made me smile! I hope my friend loves it and that her mom loves it even more! Thanks Shannon, for asking me to make it for you!

Card Details:

Stamps: Roses in Winter (retired), Tea Together (retired)
Ink: Merry Merlot (retired), Mellow Moss (retired)
Cardstock: Merry Merlot (retired), Mellow Moss (retired), Basic White
Accessories: Dashing Dots 3D EF (retired), Square Layering Framelits (retired), Rhinestones, Burgundy Sheer Ribbon (retired), Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love pulling out my very old stuff and breathing new life into them again!
This one just makes me smile!

Teapot Bridal Shower

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

My dear sweet hubby has a 4 day weekend (YAY!).
We are going to have a busy day with finally getting the back porch painted and then digging thru all of Kelsey's stuff in the storage room to get out my front porch rocking chairs. They have been packed away since last Fall and before all of her stuff made their way to my basement. I am so excited to finally get both porches done for the summer! Last evening we were out and I picked up some flowers for my City Slicker boxes that sit on my back porch and also got a hanging basket of geraniums. Not sure I will get them planted today but most certainly tomorrow!

Today I have a pretty card to share that I made for my card lady. She requested a Bridal Shower card with pink teapots on. I did see the invite so I went from there. That request took me by surprise but I guess anything goes these days! I kept this one simple but let me warn you....you will need to wear your sunglasses to view it!

Lots of Polished Pink on this card with some Call Me Clover in the mix!
I pulled out the retired Tea Together bundle from a few years back and tried my hand at coloring these with Stamp Blends. I loved the end result and hope Audrey will too!

Card Details:

Stamps: Tea Together (retired), Custom Tee (retired sentiment)
Ink: Memento Black, Polished Pink (retired), Stampin Blends-Polished Pink & Call Me Clover (retired)
Cardstock: Polished Pink, Basic White
Accessories: Tea Time Framelits (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Polished Pink In Color Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

That is all for me today!

Tea Together Mother's Day Cards

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week is going well so far.
I  have been working on a card order for a pack of Mother's Day cards.
I took the Tea Together & Tea Time Framelits and created 5 different cards for this.
They are all the same design but different colors.

Also if you look closely you will see I used a different embossing folder on each.
These were so worth my hands hurting to color them.
It took me 2 days to get finished and then yesterday I finally put each card together.
On each flower I added a Wink of Stella so they would stand out and I also used a variety of organdy ribbon on them along with designer series papers.

Card Details:

Stamps: Tea Together
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue, Highland Heather, Whisper White, Gingham Gala DSP, Floral Romance Specialty DSP
Accessories: Tufted EF, Basket Weave EF, Country Floral EF, Lace EF, Tin Tile EF, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Tea Time Framelits, Wink of Stella, Enamel Dots, Variety of Organdy Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I am super pleased with how these turned out!
Lots of coloring which is hard on my hands but they were so worth it!
Pretty sure my customer is going to love them!
I know I do!
