Never Ending Joy

Good Morning & Happy Good Friday!

What a difference a day makes weather wise! Yesterday we were in the upper 70's with humidity and a chance for thunderstorms. We had sunshine most of the day but by early evening the clouds rolled in but not a single drop of rain. A cold front came thru dropping temps down to the 40's overnight and this morning I had to turn the heat back on. We are not suppose to get out of the 50's today and this morning it is a bit cloudy & windy out. Shawn has to work all day and Kelsey is going to HersheyPark today with her friend. One good thing, she won't sweat! LOL

Today I have a quick card to share that I made for Easter to send to my dear sweet, Audrey.
I pulled out the retired Never Ending Joy set from many years ago and whipped this up for her.

I started this card weeks ago when I made St. Patrick's Day cards with using the Dandy Designs DSP which was a SaleABRation offering. I covered my entire card front with this piece of paper and decided that I did not want to use it so it laid on my table until the other day. I thought i'd better use it. I dug thru the pack of paper and found the polka dot piece and added it to the card front. Then I started stamping my images from the stamp set. I diecut them with the Stylish Shapes Dies and layered them onto some Fresh Freesia Layering Circles Scalloped Dies. I pulled the colors from the polka dot paper which worked out nicely! I added one Pool Party Rhinestone to the center of my tulips and called it done. Tuesday morning the card was ready for the mail! I was happy with it even though my papers were a bit busy. Never Ending Joy is a wood mounted stamp set that is a favorite of mine. I originally had this set years ago when it came out, sold it before we moved to Missouri and bought it again off of Ebay in 2012. One of the nicest sets for spring!

Card Details:

Stamps: Never Ending Joy (retired)
Ink: Granny Apple Green, Fresh Freesia, Pool Pary
Cardstock: Granny Apple Green, Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Dandy Designs (retired SAB 23)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Dies, Pool Party Rhinestone, Stamp A Ma Jig (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

That is the last of my Easter cards for this year!
I seemed to have made a lot....or maybe more than usual.
Tomorrow I will share a cute Easter Bunny treat that I whipped up.
It was super simple and the just the cutest!

Never Ending Joy

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Today, I have one last Easter card to share that I made this year and sent to friends.
Never Ending Joy was out many years ago and I had the set then sold it at a yard sale. If I am not mistaken I think my friend Deb bought it. I borrowed hers a couple of years back and realized how much I like this set so I went in search of Ebay to get another one.  I now have a set of my own!

I used some retired paper again along with this fun fold.
This was my last half sheet of this particular print. It is so springy!

Card Details:

Stamps: Never Ending Joy
Ink: Basic Black Archival, Certainly Celery, Barely Banana
Cardstock: Certainly Celery, Barely Banana, Whisper White, Sarah DSP
Accessories: Stamp A Ma Jig, Clear Wink of Stella Pen, Gold Metallic Enamel Dot, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Now if only our weather would start to feel as springy as my card!

My thoughts today.....

That's all for now!

Hope you will stop by tomorrow to see all the beautiful Easter cards I received!
I'm excited to share them with you!

Till then....
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Never Ending Joy Card Set

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I recently borrowed a retired stamp set from my friend to make some Easter cards.
Never Ending Joy was and still is a favorite of mine!

Never Ending Joy Card Set:

Stamps: Never Ending Joy
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
Accessories: Decorative Dots EF, Wide Oval Punch, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Liquid

I really like this stamp set for the images & the sentiments. It also makes some beautiful flowery cards too that could be used for almost any occasion!

It's been so nice here in PA the last few days. The next couple of days they are calling for upper 70's! Definitely my kind of weather! I have opened up the windows to allow some fresh air in and the doggies are loving the fact that they can stay out in the yard and soak up the sunshine!! I'm hoping springtime is here!

That's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Easter 2014

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope everyone is doing well.
I took a few days off from posting to do some cleaning out of my stamp room and also work on some upcoming projects. Somewhere along the lines I lost some of my mojo and maybe that is from the nice, sunshiney weather we are having. Life will be a bit busy this upcoming week with putting a fence up for the doggies and also Easter coming so quickly! I am hosting Easter dinner here for the family since I have the room for it but my Mom is doing the cooking. She insisted! Kirsten is in charge of the veggies and I am in charge of the desserts! Haha!
Anyways, with that being said my posts might be a bit sporadic the next week or so but I promise once Easter is over i'll be back on a more normal schedule. :)
So, today I wanted to share a few Easter things that I made.
Let's get started!

These were all fun to make! I made up about 40 milk cartons for the ladies at Kirsten's work in different designs. The cards I made for family & friends. I sat down one day and just started to play with the Easter images. For once I did not use a challenge to make a card. I like to do the challenges for they give me a place to start at making a card and they also make you think outside of the box and sometimes I really need that direction to help me create.
I'm pleased with all of it and of course I will share more pictures of the Easter goodies in the coming week.

That's all for today!
If you need to know something about what I used for these projects please shoot me an email. It's just way to much to list.
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
