For the New Two

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Today I am sharing a wedding card that I made a few weeks ago when Audrey requested one. I made this card at the same time while I had my wedding stamps out.

Card Details:

Stamps: For the New Two (retired)
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Thick Very Vanilla, Very Vanilla, Mossy Meadow, Petal Promenade DSP (retired)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Gold/Vanilla Satin Ribbon, Festive Pearls, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

That DSP is just perfect alone for a wedding card.
The colors and the flowers are soft and beautiful.

Wedding Card

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Hope your all having a nice weekend!
Our plan was to take the bikes out for a quick spin this morning but it's really dreary out and quite breezy. We ended up scratching that idea. We are in for some storms which could get severe later so I think we will just stay put and enjoy our morning coffee.

I have a card to share with you that I made for my customers last order.
I had a picture of the original wedding invite but deleted it once I had made the card to match.
It was a postcard style card but my customer asked for a full card so she could write inside.
It was also done with a wood paper and since we have the Wood Texture DSP, I ran with it!

I used the retired Stitched Season's Framelits which are still on the Clearance Rack at Stampin Up!
Love those dies and I was thrilled to be able to use them once again!

Card Details:

Stamps: For the New Two (retired)
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Thick Whisper White, Wood Textures DSP
Acccessories: Stitched Season's Framelits (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was really happy with the outcome of this card because it really did look so much like the original wedding invite. My customer was even happier with it!

Curvy Keepsake Box Challenge

Hello & Happy Friday!

Today I have a challenge to share with you by my dear friend, Vicki!
She challenged me to make a box with the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits so I made 2!

First one I made is a Wedding Box...

I used Sahara Sand cardstock with Something Borrowed DSP from the Occasions Mini Catalog! This paper is so pretty! I added a tag using the Your Perfect Day stamp set. The added roses are from the Artisan Embellishment Kit! There are alot of goodies in that kit and sadly it's no longer available. I finished it off with some Blushing Bride Ribbon!

Here is my Halloween Curvy Keepsake Box:

For my box I used some Basic Black cardstock and added some Witch's Brew DSP. Using the same pack of DSP I punched a tag with the Note Tag Punch using a different print of paper and added my spider web and sentiment from the Mixed Medley stamp set which was a hostess stamp 2 years ago! I added 3 black pearls to my tag and finished it up with a Crushed Curry bow! I'm pretty happy with both and can't wait to fill these boxes and use as a gift!

This was such a fun challenge, Vicki! Thanks so much!
Stop by Vicki's blog to check out her Curvy Keepsake Boxes! I know her's will be awesome!

Well, that's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Wedding Cards

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Spent much of the day in my craft room today. I only came out to cook supper and let the doggies out to potty! LOL It was a really cold day here in PA. We have a freeze warning in effect for tonight & tomorrow night with temps around 32 degrees. We'll be lucky to get out of the low 50's the next few days.

So, today I used the wedding set from the Occasions Mini called For the New Two. My card rack needs some wedding cards so since the set was already out on my table, time to get it inky!

Wedding Card 1:

Stamps: For the New Two
Ink: Versamark, Silver Embossing Powder, Pink Pirouette SU Marker
Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Something Borrowed DSP
Accessories: Pink Pirouette Ribbon, Metal Flower Button (from the Artisan Embellishment Kit), Glue Dots, Heart & Scallop Heart Nestibilities, Heat Gun, Dimensionals, 2 Sided Tape

Wedding Card 2:

Stamps: For The New Two
Ink: Versamark, Silver Embossing Powder
Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Something Borrowed DSP
Accessories: Oval Nestibilities, White Jute Ribbon, White Organza Ribbon, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, 2 Sided Tape

I really like that Something Borrowed DSP!. Goes beautifully with this stamp set!

Well, that's all I have for today!
Tomorrow I head back to see my Pain Management Doctor in the afternoon. Unfortunately, my Sciatic pain has returned a few weeks ago so I need to get it taken care of.
Keep your fingers crossed!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Color Challenge 527

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I played along with the SCS Color Challenge because I just love that challenge and the colors they used this week! Let's get to it!

This week's colors:

Wild Wasabi, Pink Pirouette & Sahara Sand

These colors gave me a chance to break open a pack of DSP called Something Borrowed.

I used "For the Two New" stamp set. This particular image I had to use SU Markers to color it. I added a Vintage Faceted Button with Wild Wasabi Cotton Twine. Love the Cotton Twine!

Hope you like!

Color Challenge 527 Card:

Stamps: For the New Two
Ink: SU Marker's - Pink Pirouette, Wild Wasabit & Sahara Sand
Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Something Borrowed DSP
Accessories: Finishing Touches Thinlits, Oval & Scallop Oval Nestibilities, Vintage Faceted Button, Wild Wasabi Cotton Twine, Rhinestones, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, 2 Sided Tape

So, today the Stampin Up Retired List came out. I have 25 sets on the list that will retire. It doesn't affect me since I am not a demo and I will most certainly continue to use them. I'm also excited to see what the new catty will have come June!

Well, that's all I have for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
