Hello Friend

 Hello & Happy Tuesday, Friends!

Hope your week is off to a great start!
Yesterday Shawn had the day off because it was Miss Bailee's dog grooming day. After we dropped her off at noon time we met up with our friends, Deb & Ed for a quick lunch at Red Robin then went off to do some errands before picking her up at 4. She did beautifully for Michelle at grooming and looks so nice now. Her front legs were shaved down the other week when she was at the emergency Vet because she had IV's. Michelle got that all cleaned up and you would never know she had shaved legs! Miss Bailee had a great day even though going to grooming is not one of her favorite things to do!

Today I have a beautiful card to share made with the new Radiant Sunflowers bundle coming in the 2026 Holiday Catalog. This was the 1st thing I had ordered because I just love sunflowers!

Card Details:

Stamps: Radiant Sunflowers
Ink: Cajun Carze
Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Basic White, Sunflower Fields DSP
Accessories: Radiant Sunflowers Dies, Sunflowers 3D EF, Radiant Gems, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

In this bundle you can stamp the sunflowers and color them or you can diecut them with different colors of cardstock. Either way this bundle makes some pretty sunflower cards! I'm so happy that we have another sunflower set as I always loved the Painted Harvest set from back in 2018! It is still a favorite of mine!

Sunflower Thank You

 Hello & Happy Monday, Friends!

Hope everyone had a nice 4th of July holiday!
It was terribly hot & humid here in PA with some severe thunderstorms. Our local fireworks display was cancelled due to the weather. Not sure at this time when they will be rescheduled. I think that was a good decision between the weather & the temps. It was horrible to be outside. We spent our 4th of July in Towson, Maryland at a Korean place that Kelsey treated us too! Oh my, it was so good! We walked out of there feeling like stuffed pigs! LOL

Today I am sharing a card that I made for a recent order from my friend Shannon.
This card was a thank you for one of her sons teachers.

Card Details:

Stamps: none, Computer Generated Sentiment
Ink: none
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Basic White, Painted Autumn DSP (retired)
Accessories: Everyday Arches Dies, Sunflowers 3D EF, Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Tiny Butterfly Trinkets, Garden Green Striped Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I loved this one because of all the sunflowers!
We have a new sunflower DSP on the horizon at Stampin Up! coming in the Holiday Mini Catalog and I cannot wait! I hope that their is a coordinating stamp set to match!

Today I am off to finish up my Christmas in July swaps that I started yesterday!
I hope to get them mailed out tomorrow IF I can get them done. LOL

Love & Courage For A Friend

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Friends!

Hope you all had a nice Christmas!

I took a few days off to pack up the Christmas decorations and to catch my breath. Everything as of now is put away except for the decorations (garland, lights & my Christmas flag) on the front porch. We had an ice storm Friday into Saturday and everything outside is frozen solid, so those decorations will wait a few more days till we can take them down and put away. They do light up the front of the house and it looks so pretty!

Today I wanted to share a card I made for a childhood friend that I have remained friends with over the years. We started kindergarten together and her & her family moved away during our elementary school days. I found her on Facebook years ago and have kept in contact with her since. Recently, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and started her treatments. This is the card I sent her...

Card Details:

Stamps: Love & Courage, Sending Support (retired 2023), Ribbon of Courage (retired Million Dollar Achiever Set 2017)
Ink: Strawberry Slush
Cardstock: Strawberry Slush, Basic White, Strawberry Slush In Color DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Sunflowers 3D EF, Strawberry Slush Ribbon & In Color Pearls, White Twine, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I wanted her to know I am thinking of her during this time. She's been thru so much over the last 10-12 years and always shows so much strength & courage as she moves forward in life.

HB Sweet Audrey

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

I know I have been MIA for the last few weeks trying to get my head on straight and move forward. Alot has been going on and I guess I was letting it get the best of me. I did go back to my stamp table this week to get some cards made for Audrey. Today it's also her 95th birthday! What a milestone!! I have not seen her in maybe about a month or so and I did mail a gift and card to her earlier this week. While I was out last week I visited Hobby Lobby and found the hand towel in the Fall section. Audrey loves sunflowers and this towel spoke to me. This is the card/envelope and gift towel I sent to her...

I used so many different stamp sets to create this card and I forgot to write down the names of them. I will try to get that done today and come back to update this post. I think I went alittle overboard with all the sunflowers. LOL I hope she loves it! I have not heard from her yet. I think yesterday may have been her cancer treatment day but I'm sure eventually when she gets to feeling better she will call.
Her 95th birthday is today and I wanted her to know how special she is. I'm so grateful for her & our friendship over the last several years. Wishing her a fabulous birthday!
Happy Birthday, Audrey!

Sunflowers 3D EF Technique

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

Today I have a cool card to share with you that I made over the weekend after watching several video's on You Tube on how to do this technique. It is called Wood Burning but your not actually burning anything. You just drag your ink pad over a debossed image and it gives it that wood burnt look. Once you let that dry you color in your image with Sponge Daubers or Blending Brushes. It turns out so cool looking!

Card Details:

Stamps: Party Pants (retired SAB 2016)
Ink: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Garden Green
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Sunflowers 3D EF, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins, Sponge Daubers, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This worked really well on this embossing folder because the images are very deep. I will be trying to again with another embossing folder! It's so fun and the WOW effect you get when it's finished.
