Sailing Home

Hello & Happy Friday!

Yesterday my Stampin Up order arrived!
My friend Deb and I went together and put in an order from the new Stampin Up catalog.
She loves anything with lighthouses so she wanted the Sailing Home Bundle w coordinating DSP.
I only ordered the DSP because I already have a couple sail boat stamp sets.
I took my Come Sail Away DSP and created a tag to put on her bag with her goodies in!

I took these pictures with my phone only because I was in a hurry to get it finished before she stopped to pick it up!

Project Details:

Stamps: High Tide, Itty Bitty Greetings
Ink: Sahara Sand, Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Come Sail Away DSP
Accessories: Delightful Day Tag Topper, Circle Layering Framelits, Night of Navy Enamel Dot, Baker's Twine, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

With her order added to mine we earned hostess rewards and I wanted to share them with her.
I picked up some Sail Away Trinkets & Baker's Twine for both of us.
Here I put that stuff to good use on a Thank You for her.

BYOP (Buy Your Own Present)

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I recently had a card order to work on. The customer asked for something for a masculine birthday but did not give any other details. So, I pulled out some True Gentleman DSP and got to work.

I used the Happy Birthday stamp from the retired BYOP (Buy You Own Present) and left the DSP do all the work. All I added was 2 Night of Navy Enamel Stars and a piece of twine.

Card Details:

Stamps: BYOP
Ink: Tranquil Tide
Cardstock: Tranquil Tide, Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, True Gentleman DSP
Accessories: Tranquil Tide Ribbon, Night of Navy Twine, Night of Navy Enamel Stars, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It's always great to have a good stash of masculine paper when you have no idea what to make for a man's card. I usually ask about the person's interests or things they like but I forgot to do that this time. So, DSP to the rescue!

For Baby

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Another COLD day here in PA.
This cold is going to bring us a significant snow storm starting tomorrow evening thru Tuesday evening. I was hoping we would get thru winter without anymore snow since our temps have been very spring like for weeks. Maybe with any luck it will pass us by!

Today I have a baby card to share that I made for my card rack.
This card could be used for a baby shower where the gender has not been revealed.

I love that little 1 piece sleeper.
Brings back memories of my kids wearing them!

For Baby Card:

Stamps: Slice of Life (retired), BYOP
Ink: Memento Black, So Saffron & Certainly Celery SU Markers
Cardstock: So Saffron, Whisper White, Just Delightful DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle Dies, Dimensionals, Tombow Mono Adhesive

My thoughts today.....

Bring on spring, please!

Spring is trying it's hardest to come.
My lilac bush has green leaves pushing out and my daffodils are just about ready to open.
Hopefully it won't be too much longer.

That's all for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful Sunday!

Graduation Cards

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Turned out today the sun is shining here in PA, atleast in my neck of the woods! We are in the midst of another run of dreary, rainy weather and today was suppose to be another one of those days but nope....the sun is shining, atleast right now!

I did up an order recently for my dear customer who is just the sweetest lady! Sometimes she gives me easy requests and other times she really challenges me but who doesn't like a challenge!

She requested some graduation cards for some young men & women that will be graduating shortly from 3 local schools.

This is what I made...

Columbia High School colors are red & gold

Lancaster Catholic High School colors are purple & gold

Eastern York High School colors are blue & gold

These cards are just easy, simple cards that I threw together with different layouts & designs.

Graduation Cards:

Stamps: Stampin Up sentiment, BYOP, Stampendous
Ink: Real Red, Lovely Lilac, Pacific Point
Cardstock: Summer Sun, Real Red, Lovely Lilac, Pacific Point, Neenah White
Accessories: Circle & Scallop Circle Nestibilities, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Polka Dots EF, SU Circle & Scallop Circle Punches, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, 2 Sided Tape

She was really happy with them and that makes me happy!

That's all I have for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!
