In Bloom Happy Birthday

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Today I am sharing a pretty floral birthday card that I made a few weeks ago using a long retired bundle. I love the dies that coordinate with this set and use them quite a bit!

Card Details:

Stamps: In Bloom (retired 2020)
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Rococo Rose (retired In Color), Seaside Spray, Petal Pink, Soft Seafoam, Old Olive, Basic White, Paper Blooms DSP (retired SAB 2021)
Accessories: Pierced Blooms Dies (retired 2020), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Another pretty card for the bin!
I have so much of this paper left...it will probably take me forever to use it up.
I started to make a set of cards and a matching card holder with it but I need to finish them up, hopefully soon!  You know the saying.....so many projects and not enough time to finish them! That is my dilemma!

Floral Friendship

 Hello & Happy Thursday, Friends!

Today I am feeling much better except for a very sore arm.
Getting the Shingles (last Fall) & getting the Shingles vaccine is not for the weak hearted that's for sure! I felt like a tractor trailer ran me over.
But in 6 months I get to do it all over again with the 2nd part of the vaccine. I hope that will be the last for the rest of my life. Anyways, a huge Thank You to my dear sweet hubby for taking the day off to help take care of me & the rest of the household while I was not up to par. I almost hated to send him back to work today but I know next week he has a few days off for the July 4th holiday.

Ok, on to my card today!
It's all things retired again as I am determined to use up my stash one way or another!

Card Details:

Stamps: Free As A Bird (retired 2019)
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Basic White, Magenta Madness (retired In Color), Just Jade (retired In Color), Crushed Curry, Night of Navy, Abstract Beauty Specialty DSP (retired 2022)
Accessories: Stitched Nested Dies (retired), Pierced Blooms Dies (retired 2020), Low Profile Gold Dots (retired Online Exclusives), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Such a pretty pack of DSP with it's pops of gold foil throughout. It's one that definitely deserves to be in the spotlight!

I have not been downstairs to my stamp table in about 2 weeks now. I have been trying hard to give my hands a break from the repetitive motions of stamping and diecutting. I have a small order coming today so I think I may take myself to my table and play with some new things! I'm sure I am going to be a bit rusty. LOL I started a puzzle earlier this week. I just keep picking away at it as it's a bit tough but hopefully I can get it wrapped up before Shawn is off next week. Maybe Kelsey will come over this weekend and help. She loves doing puzzles too!

Pierced Blooms HB

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!!

I've got a pretty birthday card to share today using all things long retired.
I'm really trying to make an effort to use what I already have purchased and Stampin Up! has retired. I have a room filled with lots of retired products that I feel are worth sharing every day! This card uses some great products that I will list under my card...

Card Details:

Stamps: Year of Flowers (retired Online Exclusives 2025)
Ink: Pretty Peacock
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Calypso Coral, Wild Wheat (retired In Color), Petal Pink, Basic White, Garden Walk DSP (retired 2023)
Accessories: Distressed Tiles 3D EF (retired), Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Pierced Blooms Dies (retired), Wild Wheat Glittered Dots (retired), White Ribbon (retired Online Exclusives 2025), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card is in one of my bins to be put out on my card rack when needed. I have been building quite the stash!! I even started to pull cards from my bins to use for Audrey's card orders unless she wants something personalized. That's a whole other ballgame!

Easter Cards

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday, Friends!

Hope your week is off to a great start! Today Kelsey & Shady are coming over to spend the day. Ryan is doing some computer work for her so I am going to make this a quick post!
The 3 cards I am sharing today were made on Audrey's last card order. She requested something with bunnies for 3 little girls. I know 2 of them are for the great granddaughters and I'm not sure on the 3rd one. I recently visited L&L Stamps and found this adorable paper from Photoplay. The line is called Easter Sunday and this particular sheet is called Cottontail. This was just the perfect paper for 3 little girls...

Card Details:

Stamps: Indescribable Gifts (retired sentiment)
Ink: Pecan Pie
Cardstock: Basic White, Lemon Lime Twist, Pretty in Pink, Daffodil Delight, Photoplay Paper
Accessories: Pierced Blooms Dies (retired), Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These turned out so cute and Audrey loved them!
They were quick & easy to create because the paper does all the work!
Now I wish I would have grabbed another sheet of this paper.

Sympathy Card

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

We had a beautiful day yesterday with nice sunshine and warm temps.
I sat outback with Bailee and soaked up some sun then went to my stamp table for a bit. I had a few projects that I wanted to finish up which I still have 2 waiting on me. Shawn ended up coming home early from work and going to the dentist. He bit down on a hard pretzel on Sunday and ever since his teeth hurt. Today I guess he had enough and called to be seen. Unfortunately, the dentist was not in but his assistants looked at him and took some xrays. He will see the dentist on Monday afternoon and until then continue taking Tylenol and if it gets worse they have a dentist on call all weekend. It must have been bothersome that he called because he is not thrilled on going to the dentist. So that put a clanker in my afternoon & evening. We were to get the bikes out for a ride since the weather was so nice but he was not up for it. We'll try another day!

Today I am sharing another card from my recent Stamp Day w/ Friends get together.
The girls always like to have sympathy cards on hand so I always try to have a kit ready.
This is what we made...

Card Details:

Stamps: Touch My Heart (Hostess retired)
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Seaside Spray, Basic White, Paper Blooms DSP (retired SAB 21)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Pierced Blooms Dies (retired), Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm glad we finally used this card kit because it's been in my bin ready & waiting for quite awhile! This one was quick & easy!

Black & White Buffalo Check

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

A cloudy morning here with some snow expected this afternoon.
Nothing that will make an impact but I am staying put at home after a quick trip to the Post Office to mail out a package. I've got a set of birthday cards to share today that I whipped up a few weeks ago just for fun that I wrapped up in a cello bag with envelopes and put on my card rack for sale. I may end up keeping these for myself as I love the colors on them!

Sadly, everything on these cards is retired but that doesn't matter to me!
I love that black & white buffalo check paper and those gorgeous Pierced Blooms Dies!
At one time I would have turned my nose up at the black & white buffalo check print and now I have so much of it in my house! Pillows, curtains, chair cushions, napkins, hand towels, table cloths, placemats....just to name a few! And now cards!

Card Details:

Stamps: In Bloom (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Basic White, Patterned Party DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Pierced Blooms Dies (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love the pop of color on these cards against the black & white paper!
I don't have much of this particular print left so i'm sure i'll be hoarding it until something comes along to inspire me to use it. Isn't that how it goes when you find something you love?!

Retiring Stamp Day #3

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Everyone!

A snowy morning is on tap here but it won't be anything big and it won't last long.
Tomorrow they are saying 70 degrees with a chance of thunderstorms?!
Yep, another crazy PA weather week!

Today I have another card to share that I made using another Stampin Up! bundle that is retiring. This bundle comes from the current catalog on page 30. It is the In Bloom stamp set with Pierced Blooms Dies. I will say that I was shocked by this being retired because it's a wonderful bundle! Again, it will live on in my stamp room!

Card Details:

Stamps: In Bloom (retiring), Sunny Sentiments (inside-retiring page 38)
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Seaside Spray (retired), Basic White, Vellum, Paper Blooms DSP (SAB 21)
Accessories: Pierced Blooms Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Hippo & Friends Dies (retiring), Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The front of my cardbase is torn down the edge where the card opens. I wanted to add a bit of texture to it by doing this. I couldn't get a good picture of it with the card closed.

Pierced Blooms Card Set

 Hello & Happy Friday, Friends!

I hope your all doing well.
I took some time off from stamping & blogging and gave my hands a rest.
I sat down yesterday to finish up a set of cards that I started 2 weeks ago.
I wanted to get them wrapped up and off my table.
I used some pretty Friendly Hello DSP and paired it with the Pierced Blooms Dies.

Card Details:

Stamps: Shaded Summer
Ink: Pale Papaya
Cardstock: Pale Papaya, Basic White, Soft Seafoam, Friendly Hello DSP (SAB 22)
Accessories: Pierced Blooms Dies, In Color Jewels, White Glittered Ribbon, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

After I finished these up I seen that Stampin Up! posted the retiring list.
I was sad to learn that these Pierced Blooms Dies and it's coordinating In Bloom stamp set were on the retired list. Such a lovely set of stamps & dies but you all know it will not be leaving my stamp room and it will continue to be used.
My sentiment comes from the Shaded Summer stamp set that will be carrying over into the new catalog which starts May 3, 2022.
I have seen the new catalog and it's pretty amazing!

Season's Greetings

 Hello & Happy Friday!!!

Today I am sharing another treat box that I made using the Ornate Layers Dies and a retired bundle called Tags Tags Tags!

I seen these made by Marisa Alvarez and had to try them!
ETA: Here is the You Tube link for the video tutorial.
I filled them with 2 Milk Chocolate/Caramel Ghiradelli Snowmen.

Project Details:

Stamps: Tags Tags Tags (retired)
Ink: Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Basic White, Silver Foil Paper, Trimming the Town DSP (retired)
Accessories: Ornate Layers Dies, Pierced Blooms Dies, Trio of Tags Dies (retired) White Glittered Ribbon, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I forgot to take pictures with the candy in before they were delivered to my card lady. If any come back I will do that and post it here.

Banner Year Card

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

A rainy day is on tap here today which will make for a good day to bake cookies!
I mixed up 5 different kinds of cookies on Thursday and put in the fridge.
My favorite being my Grandma Fisher's Sugar Cakes!
I remember her making them for me all the time as a little girl and i'm so thankful that she sent me the recipe before she passed away. I don't make cookies all that much anymore since my kids are grown but Kelsey specifically asked for these.

So, before my day gets crazy I wanted to share card #3 from last Saturday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. This one uses the Banner Year set which came out in last year's Holiday Mini Catalog and carried over into the Annual Catalog this year!

Another quick & simple card with lots of wonderful texture and pretty papers!
I used the retired Stampin Up! Holly EF from many years ago.
The paper is the Heartwarming Hugs DSP which also came out last year and carried over this year! (I really love that Stampin Up! is doing this more & more)
The sentiment panel is diecut from the Pierced Blooms Dies.
We stamped our holly image and Be Merry saying from the Banner Year set.
Lastly, we added the beautiful Real Red Sheer bow and some Red Rhinestones for sparkle.

Card Details:

Stamps: Banner Year
Ink: Real Red, Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Heartwarming Hugs DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Pierced Blooms Dies, Holly EF (retired), Real Red Sheer Ribbon, Red Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

How many of you have your Christmas cards addressed and mailed?
I am always late in getting mine out the door!

Season of Thanks

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a nice weekend!
It was so busy here that I wish we could have a redo!
And with changing the clocks, it has my dogs so off schedule.
Gigi was in the hallway barking at 3:45 because she wanted out & breakfast!
That's a bit tooo early for my liking and I hope in time that they will get back on track or they are going to have a very grumpy mama!

So, today I am sharing the 1st card we made at Saturday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. This one uses the Stitched Leaves Dies that came out last year that carried over and some really beautiful papers from the Beauty of the Earth DSP.

Card Details:

Stamps: Season of Thanks (retired)
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Basic White, Rich Razzleberry, Bumble Bee, Pumpkin Pie, Beauty of the Earth DSP
Accessories: Pierced Blooms Dies, Stitched Leaves Dies, Champagne Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This was one of the favorites and simple to stamp & put together.
I usually have all the diecuts done which makes it faster, too!

Sunflower Thank You Cards

 Hello & Happy TGIF!

Are you looking forward to the weekend?
For once we have no plans so I may try to get some stamp time in!
Last evening I got my card lady's order & Halloween treats delivered to her.
As always, she was thrilled with everything!

Today I am sharing a pack of Thank You cards that she requested to go with this Fall time of year. I pulled out my retired pack of Flowers For Every Seasons DSP and used up some scraps!

Card Details:

Stamps: Happy Thoughts (retired)
Ink: Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Bumble Bee, Basic White, Flowers For Every Season DSP (retired)
Accessories: Macrame 3D EF, Pierced Blooms Dies, Misty Moonlight Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love how these turned out because I really love this pack of paper!
I seen it's now on the Stampin Up! Clearance Rack for a great price!
