Frames & Flowers Specialty Paper

Good Morning & Happy Thursday, Friends!

I've been awake since before 3am this morning as we had a strong line of thunderstorms come thru. It was storming when I went to bed at 9pm and then again at 3am. Our weather sure has been active with heavy rains, lots of alerts and very hot & humid air sitting over us. I'm sure at this point I am going to need a nap later today!

This last week & a half has been a stressful one. It started out with Mr. Shady not well. We thought maybe he had a leg injury as he was not walking for days. Kelsey called her Vet and was unsuccessful in getting him seen ASAP. They were completely booked and the soonest they could see him was Monday 7-14-25. They suggested she call other vets in the area or get him to an animal emergency place. The local animal emergency place was already on a long wait time and before the end of that day it turned into a 12-15 hour wait time. She was so frustrated, as I was too because no one wants to see their pet hurting. So, she kept him comfortable and carried him outside to go potty. Thru all this he was still eating, drinking & doing his outside business but was constantly shaking like a leaf and would not walk. Finally, Monday he was seen by his normal Vet and was diagnosed with a neck injury! I can only imagine how Kelsey felt as I was worried sick about him for days, too. I was mentally exhausted as to thinking what was wrong with him. After xrays summed up the Vet's diagnosis, Shady was put on some heavy duty pain meds, an anti inflammatory and muscle relaxers. By the end of the first day on these meds he was showing signs of improvement. He was walking and playing with his food & toys! It's now been 3 days on the meds and he is healing nicely even back to his usual sniffing every blade of grass. He has not jumped up on anything yet and that may take awhile for the injury to completely heal but the Vet said he will get back to his normal self. It's one of those kind of injuries that they see quite often. He is no longer allowed to wear his normal neck collar attached to the leash. From now on she was advised to get him a harness to take the pressure off his neck. So, he's not out of the woods yet but showing signs of improvement each & every day! I am so thankful for that! She does call every morning to give me updates on him and it's sounding positive!

Today I have a set of cards to share that I made for a Thank You gift. There are 5 cards and each one is different. I used the Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP from the 2024-2025 Stampin Up! catalog. I think it may be on the Last Chance Sale list still but not 100% sure on that. I still have a small bit of this paper left and I may make another pack for myself...

Card Details:

Stamps: Everyday Greetings & Greetings of the Season (retired Online Exclusives)
Ink: Pretty Peacock
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Pretty Peacock, Basic White, Frames & Flowers Specialty Paper (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Glittered Gems (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Each card has a punched out floral image from that specialty pack which makes it so quick when creating cards or even scrapbook pages. I really love how these turned out! Aren't those colors so pretty together?

Pretty Petals Birthday Cards

Good Morning & Happy Sunday, Friends!

Hope your enjoying a nice weekend! It's been pretty rainy & dreary here in PA the last few days! Here's to hoping the sun makes an appearance today! I finished up Audrey's card order yesterday so today I will be working on finishing up addressing my Easter cards and getting some card kits prepared for a Stamp Day w/ Friends get together which I am thinking of having the week after Easter if all goes smoothly. I say that because the last few weeks I have not been feeling good due to my blood pressure being way too low. I have been closely monitoring my blood pressure readings and have finally stopped my BP medication.

Today I have 2 pretty cards to share with you using a stamp set from the Online Exclusives list called Pretty Petals. I fell in love with a card that was made by LeeAnn Greff and I ordered the stamp set. I've made several cards with it and loved each & every one! I paired this stamp set with the Everyday Happiness DSP from the 2025 Spring Scrapbook Catalog.

Card Details:

Stamps: Pretty Petals (Online Exclusives), Greetings of the Season & Everyday Greetings (both from the Online Exclusives)
Ink: Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock, Wild Wheat
Cardstock: Lost Lagoon, Wild Wheat, Pretty Peacock, Basic White, Everyday Happiness DSP (2025 Spring Scrapbook Catalog)
Accessories: Countryside Corners Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Brushed Brass Butterflies, Various Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

If I had to choose which one I liked better....well, I don't think I could as I like them both!
I like the colors & prints in this pack of DSP which I think helps to pull the Wild Wheat into this color combination. I've said I was not a big fan of Wild Wheat but I do like it here with these 2 colors (Lost Lagoon & Pretty Peacock). I'm honestly not sad to see this 2023-2025 In Color leaving as I found it hard to use these last 2 years. Have you seen the new In Colors coming for the next 2 years? I was so hoping for a teal color but not happening this time around.

Happy Anniversary

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

We are in for a few days of rainy weather here in Pennsylvania, so my plan is to get some crafting time in! Today I need to get some laundry done then i'm going to get started on Audrey's cards. They say we are in for some heavy downpours later today which hopefully helps with our drought.
Yesterday I did get some crafty time in while I was on a phone call with my good friend Miss Emily. I just recently got the Everyday You & Me Bundle from the 2025 Spring Stampin Up! Scrapbook Catalog. I do love that we have more options with stamps, paper & scrapbook kits! I already had the Everyday Happiness DSP and wanted to get some cards made with this pretty suite of products!

Card Details:

Stamps: Everyday Greetings & Greetings of the Season (both from the Online Exclusives), Everyday You & Me (2025 Spring Scrapbook Catalog)
Ink: Pretty Peacock, Gray Granite
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon, Wild Wheat, Basic White, Everyday Happiness DSP (2025 Spring Scrapbook Catalog)
Accessories: Greetings of the Season Dies (Online Exclusives), Hearts of Elegance Dies (Online Exclusives), Pretty Peacock/Gold Metallic Ribbon, Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Another card that is for sale on the card rack! Slowly but surely I am filling the card rack up with new goodies!

Masculine HB Cards

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

Hope your week is going well!
Yesterday turned out to be a warm, sunny day which meant that we were able to get out for a good long walk. The sunshine felt really nice for a change.
Today I am sharing 2 masculine cards that Audrey requested for 2 of the Priest at her church. She said to keep them simple and I think I accomplished that!

I pulled out some of the new Timeless Plaid DSP from the 2025 Spring Mini Catalog and cut the pieces down to the size I needed. I realized that the opposite side had the same coordinating colors in it so I took that last strip of paper and added it under the main plaid piece. I then cut my sentiment panel using the Nested Essentials Dies. I used stamps from the Greetings of the Season stamp set & the Everyday Greetings stamp set. Both of those stamp sets are on the Online Exclusives list. I kept them simple and flat. Only added one enamel dot to each sentiment panel and called them done.

Card Details:

Stamps: Greetings of the Season & Everyday Greetings (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Old Olive, Boho Blue
Cardstock: Old Olive, Boho Blue, Basic White, Timeless Plaid DSP
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, Old Olive Enamel Dot (retired), Boho Blue Enamel Dot (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

She said these were perfect!

Winterly Birthday Set

 Hello & Happy Monday!

We've got a snow day ahead! The snow has been falling here since about 4 am and looks like to continue into this evening. Going to be a coffee kind of day to stay warm! I got my 2025 calendars finished yesterday!! YAY! Once I get them photographed I will share them here.
Today I have a set of cards I made for Audrey in her last order and I think these are perfect to share on a snow day!

Card Details:

Stamps: Everyday Greetings & Greetings of the Season (both Online Exclusives)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Basic White, Nests of Winter DSP
Accessories: Winterly Tree Tops Dies, Greetings of the Season Dies, Deckled Rectangle Dies, Cherry Cobbler/Gold Ribbon, Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The Pool Party snowy print is from the Nests of Winter DSP and the pretty birds are diecut from another sheet of the same paper pack. These are the perfect card for those cold & snowy January birthdays, don't you think?

I really like these and so did Audrey!

Sophisticated Sled Wreath Cards

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

A quick post this morning then, I have a few chores I need to finish up this morning.
I have a set of cards to share today that I made for Audrey as part of her Christmas card order. This one uses a set from the Online Exclusives list called Sophisticated Sled. It has coordinating dies and let me say that this set makes some beautiful cards! Audrey usually likes the wreaths or poinsettia's so I grabbed this set back in July and whipped this set up. I put these cards aside for her for when it was Christmas time and she loved them!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sophisticated Sled (Online Exclusives), Greetings of the Season (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Old Olive, Stampin Blends-Old Olive, Real Red
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Season of Green & Gold DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Sophisticated Sled Dies (Online Exclusives), Greeting of the Season Dies (Online Exclusives), Gold Trim, Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

She was so taken with the little cardinal on the wreath! I'm surprised she has not asked for another pack of these! Speaking of Audrey, I will be seeing her this evening to pick up the Christmas candy treat basket and deliver her some birthday cards that she forgot to order on her last order. I hope my candy basket comes back empty!

Ballerina Birthday

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today's card is one that was on Audrey's last card order for her neighbor, Molly!
Every year since this little girl was born I have made cards for Audrey to give her. She loves dancing & the ballet. I really did not have much else to offer as far as dancing so the ballerina won! I really love how this one turned out...

Card Details:

Stamps: Sparkly Seasons (retired), Greetings of the Season & Everyday Greetings (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Pretty in Pink
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Basic White, Pretty in Pink DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Pretty in Pink In Color Shimmer Dots & Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Audrey loved it!

Yesterday I managed to get my 3rd card kit almost completed for my Christmas Stamp Day w Friends. I think I was on the phone more than I had time to stamp! It must have been the day that everyone wanted to chat with me! Haha! Anyways, I will finish up that kit this morning then the rest will wait until over the weekend.

Favored Flowers Anniversary Set

 Good Monday Morning, Everyone!

Hope your weekend was a nice one!
It's still pretty hot & humid here! I'm hoping for an early Fall at this rate!
We usually have some strong cold fronts come thru giving us a few days of nice refreshing air but that hasn't happened much this summer and I know for many this heat & humidity is quite bothersome. Last evening Shawn & I walked the neighborhood and once we got home neither one of us felt good. We both reached for a Ginger Chew before heading to bed.

Today I have another set of cards to share with you. I used the retired Favored Flowers DSP again because it was out on my stamp table and it does have some pretty prints in it that I thought would make some great Anniversary cards. This set will go on my card rack. Since I have the free time I am working ahead on making card sets. I told Shawn yesterday that I will have cards made for when I turn 80 and my hands don't work anymore! LOL

Card Details:

Stamps: Everyday Greetings (Online Exclusives), Greetings of the Season (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Favored Flowers DSP (retired SAB 2023)
Accessories: Deckled Rectangle Dies, Greetings of the Season Dies (Online Exclusives), Fresh Freesia Ribbon (retired), In Color Fresh Freesia Jewels (retired), Glue Dots, Stampin Seal Adhesive

I can't remember at the moment what this technique is called. My small piece of DSP is diecut straight from the middle of the larger DSP piece and layered on with another piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock. I think this is the first time I ever tried this. I kept everything flat on these for easy mailing.

Season's Greetings

 Hello & Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

Hope your day is off to a great start!
Today is to be the hottest day of the week with temps in the upper 90's and high humidity. I'm praying for some rain and a nice cool down. We've not been out to walk since this heat started. I would love to get the bike out for a quick ride but that depends on the weather.
I'm going to head downstairs and do some cleaning this afternoon and once that is done I can get back to doing more creating!

I have another holiday card to share with you today and yes, I am back to using the new Online Exclusives stamp sets for this....it has quickly become my favorite!

Card Details:

Stamps: Greetings of the Season (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Old Olive
Cardstock: Old Olive, Very Vanilla, Gold Foil Paper, Season of Green & Gold Specialty Paper (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Greetings of the Season Dies (Online Exclusives), Golden Greenery Dies (Online Exclusives), Tailored Tag Punch (retired), Gold Trim, Neutral Adhesive Backed Sequins, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal Adhesive

The DSP in this suite is so pretty and I find myself reaching for it all the time. I may end up having to order a 2nd pack of it but i'm going to wait until after the Holiday Mini Catalog comes out then decide.

Golden Greenery Christmas

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Hope your all staying cool! The heatwave continues! We had some sprinkles the last 2 days but nothing to really help the brown, crunchy grass. Shawn has been watering the garden every evening and the veggie plants are looking pretty good. The zucchini plants are producing like crazy and now it's time to get creative on what to make with them!

Today I have a Christmas card to share made using the Golden Greenery suite from the Online Exclusives! I have been loving alot of the Online Exclusives offerings more so than what's in the annual catalog this year!

Card Details:

Stamps: Greetings of the Season (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Old Olive
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Gold Foil Paper, Season of Green & Gold Specialty Paper (Online Exclusives), Graceful Greenery Vellum (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Greetings of the Season Dies (Online Exclusives), Golden Greenery Dies (Online Exclusives), Gold Trim, Gold Sequins, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal Adhesive

I think this one is my favorite so far!
I'm not sure I will be ordering anything for Christmas when the new Holiday Mini Catalog comes out since I am loving this suite!

The last week I have been working on a puzzle since I did not have any card orders and I wanted to give my hands a rest. I started the puzzle last Sunday and thought maybe all the pieces were not in the box since I bought the puzzle used at Goodwill. I quickly got frustrated with it and was going to just throw it away. Monday I did not touch it but Tuesday I made my way back to it and quickly realized I had pieces in places that they did not go. I was still frustrated with it and picked at it for the next 3 days. I was determined to finish it and prayed all the pieces were still there. Friday afternoon I completed it and felt a sigh of relief! LOL It is now packed up in a Ziplock bag and ready to be handed off to my friend Deb to do! She is the queen of Jigsaw Puzzles so she will probably fly thru putting it together!

That was the first puzzle I put together since last Christmas. I have 2 left in my rack downstairs to do. Maybe in about a month or so I will pull another one out.
I will say as frustrated as I got with this one I was pleased with it once it was done.
Such a pretty scene and colors too!

Christmas in July!

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a pretty card to share that I made with the Golden Greenery Bundle that will be available starting tomorrow for customers from the Online Exclusives. This set reminds me of another set from a few years ago called Painted Christmas.

Card Details:

Stamps: Golden Greenery (Online Exclusives), Greetings of the Season (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Old Olive
Cardstock: Old Olive, Basic White, Seasons of Green & Gold Specialty Paper (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Golden Greenery Dies (Online Exclusives), Greetings of the Season Dies (Online Exclusives), Gold Trim (Online Exclusives), Gold Swirls (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The greenery was diecut from the Seasons of Green & Gold Specialty Paper and the bells were fussy cut from the same paper.
This card reminds me of my mom. She collected bells for as long as I can remember.
Many of them came from Avon.

My thoughts today...

I've been watching some of the Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel the last few days. Every Saturday night they have a new holiday movie on thru the month of July. That gives me something to look forward to during these hot, summer days!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!
