In Bloom Happy Birthday

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Today I am sharing a pretty floral birthday card that I made a few weeks ago using a long retired bundle. I love the dies that coordinate with this set and use them quite a bit!

Card Details:

Stamps: In Bloom (retired 2020)
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Rococo Rose (retired In Color), Seaside Spray, Petal Pink, Soft Seafoam, Old Olive, Basic White, Paper Blooms DSP (retired SAB 2021)
Accessories: Pierced Blooms Dies (retired 2020), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Another pretty card for the bin!
I have so much of this paper left...it will probably take me forever to use it up.
I started to make a set of cards and a matching card holder with it but I need to finish them up, hopefully soon!  You know the saying.....so many projects and not enough time to finish them! That is my dilemma!

Thank You Strawberries

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Friends!

Today I have a quick Thank You card to share with you.
I was going thru some packs of retired papers the other week and decided to whip up a couple of cards to keep on hand for customers as a thank you for their orders. I also created a bunch of other occasions too but today I am showing you the thank you card.

Here in Pennsylvania locally grown strawberries are just about finished. They don't last long here, a few weeks at most but they are so sweet & flavorful. So when I came across a few scraps of the Berry Delightful DSP with strawberries in the print I grabbed them and got to work.

Card Details:

Stamps: So Sentimental (retired 2020)
Ink: Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Soft Seafoam, Basic White, Berry Delightful DSP (retired SAB 2021)
Accessories: Lazy Daisy 3D EF (Online Exclusives), Stitched So Sweetly Dies (retired 2020), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I kept this simple because I wanted the adorable Lazy Daisy 3D EF to shine! I really love this one and the added texture it brings to a card. I wanted to add things like enamel dots & ribbon but I kept it simple for easy mailing.

I found a whole brand new package of the Berry Delightful DSP in my stash that I had no idea I had! This paper was very well loved over the years and can you imagine my delight when I found a whole unopened pack of it! Yes, I was thrilled!

Baby Cards

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!
And welcome to a new month!

Today I just wanted to say that all is better in the Aungst Pad.
Miss Bailee finally decided around lunch time to eat. She didn't seem sick so maybe she sensed that Ryan & I are were not feeling good. Ryan looked so much better when he got up yesterday! His cough is sounding better, too, so I hope he's on the mend! And today I am feeling much better as well. The medicine they gave me for the Shingles is still giving me a headache but it's definitely working. My blisters have popped and are starting to scab up. Still hurts like the dickens but I think we are getting there and for that I am grateful that my doctor was on top of it. Speaking of my doctor, she is a Physician's Assistant but she is always very thorough and takes good care of me. I have a Thank You card here that I made for her that will be going out into the mail soon to her to let her know I appreciate all that she does for me and always goes above & beyond!

So let's get to my card....
My card rack has been lacking on baby cards. Audrey seems to buy them left & right and I do not make that type of card usually unless I am asked. I am also limited on baby stamps. Recently, I was at L&L Rubber Stamps and found this pretty baby paper that I picked up. It's so cute and I knew all I needed to do was add a sentiment to it to make quick cards. This is what I made so far with it...

Card Details:

Stamps: Punch Party (retired SAB 2021)
Ink: Pecan Pie, Night of Navy
Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Petal Pink, Night of Navy, Balmy Blue. Basic White, Echo Park (Baby on Board)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Petal Pink Low Profile Dots, Cloud Cover Muted Palette Dots, Petal Pink Scalloped Ribbon, Balmy Blue Sheer Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Quick & easy is what I was going for and they turned out super sweet!

A Touch of Ink

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Hope that your weekend is off to a great start!
I am headed to my stamp table to work on some Fall card kits for my next Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. I promised some pretty Fall cards! You would never know that Fall is around the corner as hot & humid as it is outside. I always say the humidity feels heavy when we have dewpoints in the 70's.

Anyways, today I am sharing the 2nd card from Thursday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. I always try to have a sympathy card made because we usually always need them at some point. This card I created a long time ago and finally decided to pull it out and make this with the girls. It uses an oldie but goodie set called A Touch of Ink.

Card Details:

Stamps: A Touch of Ink (retired SAB 2021), Woven Heirlooms (retired)
Ink: Misty Moonlight, Balmy Blue
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Balmy Blue, Basic White
Accessories: Tasteful Textiles 3D EF (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Misty Moonlight In Color Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love these 2 color of blues together, so pretty!

This card came together in less than 10 minutes since I always have all the diecuts ready. All the girls have to do is stamp and adhere.

Happy Birthday

 Hello & Happy Monday!

It's the last Monday of 2024 and I am getting things back to normal and posting some cards that I made a few weeks ago. A friend was looking to buy a variety of different occasion cards to use for Christmas gifts this year so I got busy making some cards for her to choose from.
This uses all retired products which I really enjoyed pulling out and using.

Card Details:

Stamps: Happiest of Birthdays (retired)
Ink: Just Jade (retired)
Cardstock: Just Jade (retired), Bumble Bee (retired), Basic White, Flower & Field DSP (retired SAB 21)
Accessories: Deckled Rectangles Dies, Bumble Bee In Color Enamel Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Love the colors of this paper which made for a really nice birthday card!
Fortunately, I have an entire pack of this DSP in my stash and I will need to replenish my card rack eventually!

 Hello & Happy Monday!

It's the beginning of a new week....hope it's off to a good start!
I said that this last week of July that I would share some Christmas cards to celebrate Christmas in July. Last year I did the entire month of July but this year it got away from me.
Today I have 3 Christmas cards that I made recently from a Stamp A Stack that I have wanted to do. Kitchen Table Stamper had this SAS a few years ago and I finally sat down and got them made. I only made one card in each design...

These were so fun to create and will definitely help with getting my holiday cards made this year!

Card Details:

Stamps: Penguin Place (retired), Knit Together Background (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Pumpkin Pie, Fresh Freesia, Just Jade (retired), Misty Moonlight, Soft Seafoam, Soft Suede (retired)
Cardstock: Just Jade, Soft Seafoam, Basic White, Misty Moonlight, Penguin Playmates DSP (SAB 21 retired)
Accessories: Penguin Builder Punch (retired), Hippo & Friends Dies (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Tree Punch (retired), Greenery EF (retired), Misty Moonlight & Just Jade Ribbon (retired), In Color Enamel Dots (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I used lots of retired products which helps me to use up my stash!
I love how they turned out!

My thoughts today...

I have been watching lots of Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel these last few weeks but it all ends next Monday 7/31. Holiday movies won't return until October then. I'm going to enjoy them while there here!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Sympathy Card

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

We had a beautiful day yesterday with nice sunshine and warm temps.
I sat outback with Bailee and soaked up some sun then went to my stamp table for a bit. I had a few projects that I wanted to finish up which I still have 2 waiting on me. Shawn ended up coming home early from work and going to the dentist. He bit down on a hard pretzel on Sunday and ever since his teeth hurt. Today I guess he had enough and called to be seen. Unfortunately, the dentist was not in but his assistants looked at him and took some xrays. He will see the dentist on Monday afternoon and until then continue taking Tylenol and if it gets worse they have a dentist on call all weekend. It must have been bothersome that he called because he is not thrilled on going to the dentist. So that put a clanker in my afternoon & evening. We were to get the bikes out for a ride since the weather was so nice but he was not up for it. We'll try another day!

Today I am sharing another card from my recent Stamp Day w/ Friends get together.
The girls always like to have sympathy cards on hand so I always try to have a kit ready.
This is what we made...

Card Details:

Stamps: Touch My Heart (Hostess retired)
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Seaside Spray, Basic White, Paper Blooms DSP (retired SAB 21)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Pierced Blooms Dies (retired), Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm glad we finally used this card kit because it's been in my bin ready & waiting for quite awhile! This one was quick & easy!

Heartfelt Sympathy Set

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

The sun is shining here today!
I'm thrilled for that so it will motivate me to get something accomplished!
Yesterday I did absolutely nothing.
I went to my stamp table and just straightened things up and watched tv the rest of the day. The lack of sunshine has been doing a number on me.
Only good thing is...it gave my hands a chance to rest!

Today I have a set of Sympathy cards to share with you that I made about 2 weeks ago.
I change out my little card rack maybe once a month. I recently took off the Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years card packs that had been sitting on it. I replaced those with your everyday card sets like Birthday, Thinking of You and Sympathy. I have one pack of Sympathy so I made another pack to go on there. This occasion never seems to last on my card rack and I felt while I had some down time to make more.

I started with pulling out my retired SAB 2021 Delicate Dahlia's stamp set and the Beautifully Penned DSP and got to work.

Card Details:

Stamps: Delicate Dahlia (retired SAB 21)
Ink: Memento Black, Real Red, Garden Green
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Beautifully Penned DSP (retired SAB 21)
Accessories: Scalloped Contour Dies, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Rhinestones, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I just love that big red dahlia flower in the middle!
I wanted to fussy cut them to make them pop but that would have killed my hands so I opted to just stamp them and let them be.
I had the Beautifully Penned DSP and just opened it.
Sad, I know!

Ombre Thank You Cards

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Last week when my card lady called me she asked me if I could whip up a set of Thank You cards but nothing with flowers. So, I went thru some old paper packs and found this pack that was a SaleABRation offering in 2021. I've not used much of this paper so it's high time I did!
And it has no flowers!

Card Details:

Stamps: Ornate Thanks (retired)
Ink: Bermuda Bay
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Basic White, Ombre DSP (SAB 21)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Ornate Layers Dies (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These did not take long at all to make and she was happy with them!

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope you had a nice weekend!
Shawn is back to work today so I have alot on my agenda to get done.

I have a set of cards to share with you today that uses the Peaceful Deer set that came out in last years 2021 July-December Mini Catalog. This year it carried into the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog which I was happy to see! It has a coordinating punch too!

I used this set last year several times and i'm thrilled to use it again!

Card Details:

Stamps: Peaceful Deer
Ink: Soft Suede, Garden Green
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Basic White, Be Dazzling Specialty Paper (SAB 21), Peaceful Prints DSP (SAB 21)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Deer Builder Punch, Garden Green Glittered Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombw Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Also I wanted to give you a quick update on my card lady!
She called yesterday and sounded in good spirits!
Surgery went very well, she was able to come home on Friday but was pretty sick from the anesthesia up until yesterday. Right now food isn't appealing but she is getting somethings in her. Surgeon suggested walking as much as she can tolerate so blood clots don't form and also resting and pushing fluids. She has a return appointment this week. She said she will be in touch soon. I was relieved to here from her as she has been on my mind all weekend.
Please continue to keep Audrey in your thoughts & prayers in the days ahead if you wouldn't mind. Thank you!

Retiring Stamp Day # 9

 Hello & Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

We are in for a gloomy, rainy week so I guess I will be at my stamp table the next few days!
Not much else to do on rainy days!
I do need to get working on some Easter things because it will be here before we know it.

Today is day # 9 of sharing a retired Stampin Up! stamp set.
Sweet Strawberry and it's coordinating Strawberry Builder Punch are on the chopping block. Just cannot believe they are retiring this wonderful set! It's been very well loved!
It is on page 43 of the current Stampin Up! Annual Catalog and only available while supplies last.

Often times when Stampin Up! introduces us to a new bundle they usually have paper that goes with it. You will most likely see me using the matching DSP because I always associate it with the bundle whether or not it's still available or long retired.
I guess that is how my brain registers it, so to speak! LOL
So, I pulled out the Berry Blessings DSP that was a SaleABRation offering last year. It is gorgeous! I'm still hoarding an unopened pack of it! LOL

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweet Strawberry
Ink: Poppy Parade, Garden Green Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Garden Green, Daffodil Delight, Basic White, Berry Blessings DSP (SAB 21)
Accessories: Strawberry Builder Punch, Circle Layering Framelits, Check & Dots EF, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card is probably one of my favorites!
I love strawberries and eat them almost everyday!
I am anxious for strawberries to come into season locally but I know it'll be awhile yet!
Mmmm Mmmm Good!
