Christmas Cards for Kids...

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Yesterday was a fun filled day with having friends over for Christmas card making!
I think everyone was in the Christmas spirit and we had so much fun!
All of my card classes are over now for the year and hopefully now I can catch my breath!

Today I am off for an early morning haircut then doing some shopping for Christmas & grabbing groceries before football starts! You will most likely find me in my pj's on the couch the rest of the day! I am not feeling all the greatest.

I am sharing cards that were part of the huge card order I worked on for Christmas.
These cards were ordered for a couple of little ones and I thought the Santa's Workshop Suite was perfect for them!

I have loved this entire suite this season!
The stamp set, matching framelits, the DSP and the Santa's Workshop Enamel Shapes are all perfect for making that certain someone a Christmas card! As it turned out this suite was a BIG seller this season! All of my little images were diecut from the Santa's Workshop DSP and that just makes things so much easier when making cards!

Card Details:

Stamps: Signs of Santa, Seasonal Chums (sentiment)
Ink: Poppy Parade, Black Memento
Cardstock: Garden Green, Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Thick Whisper White, Santa's Workshop DSP
Accessories: Santa's Signpost Framelits, Square, Oval & Circle Layering Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Santa's Workshop Enamel Shapes, Poppy Parade Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So cute & very festive for this holiday season, don't ya think?

Candy Cane Chapsticks

Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

A cold, cloudy morning is on tap here.
We are in for snow flurries today and then rain moving in tonight and tomorrow.
Actually I think the entire weekend is going to be a wash out with showers most of the time.
I have a busy weekend planned starting out with a stamp day with friends Saturday morning.
We will be making Christmas cards!

So today I have something new to share.
It is something I created for Christmas and I have made these before but a bit different.
One day while surfing Pinterest I found these dies from My Favorite Things that cut out a slot to put a plastic holder in to make a Chapstick Holder. I thought the idea was brilliant and hopped on board to order what I needed.

And here is the outcome....

It worked out perfectly that this year Stampin Up gave us some really pretty DSP to match my Candy Cane Chapsticks! The Santa's Workshop DSP was perfect for this project!
I made 20 of these! If any come back to me I will give them to friends!

Project Details:

Stamps: Signs of Santa (now retired), Amuse sentiment
Ink: Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Santa's Workshop DSP (now retired)
Accessories: MFT Lip Balm Dies, MFT Lip Balm Pouches, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Ornate Tag Topper Punch (retired), Santa's Workshop Enamel Shapes (retired), Poppy Parade Ribbon, Whisper White Twine, Clear Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Chapstick is a must have during the winter months to keep those lips from getting chapped & sore and this is a way to dress them for gift giving!
Definitely one of my favorite things for this holiday season!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Santa's Workshop Candy Bar Wrappers

Good Morning & Happy Friday!

We made it to the weekend!
I have been SO busy this week with stamping and getting orders completed.
Another day or 2 and hopefully it will all be done!
My hands are saying....enough already!

Today I am sharing a few more Candy Bar Wrappers.
Love making these!
I used Santa's Workshop DSP for these.

Have you seen the flocking that is in this pack of DSP?
It's so cool how they do that!
I also used some Black Glittered Ribbon that was with the Halloween stuff in the Mini Catalog!
It can be used for Christmas too since it has some pretty glitter on it.
My little elf and signpost were diecut from the Santa's Workshop DSP.
These are going to be great for stocking stuffers!

Project Details:

Stamps: Signs of Santa
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Basic Black, White Velvet Paper, Santa's Workshop DSP
Accessories: Santa's Signpost Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Black Glittered Ribbon, Santa's Workshop Enamel Shapes, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I think this entire suite has sold out in the SU Holiday Mini Catalog and I can see why!
I have absolutely loved using it this season and will have more to share with you in the coming days!

My thoughts today....

I will be heading down to my stamp table this morning and hope I can get the cards & gift bags wrapped up today!
Tomorrow will be a few more treats to work on!

Christmas Elves Nugget Packs

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

What a day it was yesterday!
Shawn ended up getting an injection of steroids in his knee.
Still not pain free but we are hopeful it will work eventually!
If he still has pain 1 week after he is to contact the doctor and she will get him set up for an MRI.
Besides the arthritis in his knee, he may also have a meniscus tear that will not show on an xray.
She doesn't feel that he has that because he isn't showing symptoms of it but you never know!
I am keeping my fingers crossed the injection will do it's job!

Then in the afternoon we took Ryan to see the Gastro Doctor.
This guy is a blessing in disguise!
I just cannot say enough about him!
Gave Ryan his cell phone number to call or text him if any problems or questions come up.
Now, what doctor do you know that does that?!!
Ryan now can be weaned off the Antacid medicine but can keep it on hand if he needs it.
He was pleased with how well Ryan has been feeling.
No need to return unless issues come up.
He wished Ryan a Happy Birthday (since it was Monday) and a Merry Christmas to all of us and we were on our way!

So, let's get to some stamping now!
Today I am showing you my Christmas Nugget Packs.
I loved the Santa's Workshop DSP and used that for my treats!

The saying on these comes from the Signs of Santa stamp set.
The elves were diecut with the Santa's Signpost Framelits from the Santa's Workshop DSP.
I love that our Framelits coordinate with our DSP's!

Project Details:

Stamps: Signs of Santa
Ink: Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Garden Green, Whisper White, Santa's Workshop DSP
Accessories: Santa's Signpost Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Santa's Workshop Enamel Shapes, Garden Green & Whisper White Thick Twine, Cello Bags, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My customer loves the Hershey Nugget Packs and this year I made 15 packs of them.
They make a great stocking stuffer and who does not like chocolate!

Signs of Santa Tablet

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I am posting pretty late today!
I was busy all day at my craft table and got lost in what I was working on.
I had many unfinished projects that needed done.
The project I am sharing now is one of those.
I had a few tablets in my drawer that I picked up at Dollar Tree months & months ago.
Today they got a makeover!

I used the Santa's Workshop Suite for this.
My tablets have a Kraft front & back on them so they are pretty sturdy.
My little Elf & Mailbox was diecut from the Santa's Workshop DSP.
The DSP has flocking on it which makes it very nice especially for Christmas!

Project Details:

Stamps: Signs of Santa
Ink: Memento Black, Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, Santa's Workshop DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Santa's Signpost Framelits, Poppy Parade Ribbon, Glue Dots, Santa's Workshop Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This is such a fun suite to play with and that flocking on the dsp is an added bonus!

Sign's of Santa Gift Card Holder

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope everyone is staying cool out there!
Our weather has been downright disgusting with this heat & humidity.
I think if I stop complaining about it that maybe....just maybe, we might get some cooler, more Fall like weather! LOL Wouldn't that be nice!

Yesterday we had Ryan to see the Gastro Doctor.
No diagnosis.
We left there to go have an xray done to look for any obstructions and then he will be going to the hospital for a Colonoscopy in a few weeks. Everything is scheduled. He's been sick for 4 weeks and now we have to wait 3 more weeks!!! I am SO frustrated and very worried. My psoriasis is flaring up from all the worrying and I don't know how to control that.

So, in the next 3 weeks I will try hard to get some stamp therapy in so it helps take my mind off Ryan's sickness.
I'm really excited about the Holiday Mini Catalog going live today!
I don't have much from it, yet. There are SO many cool things in it. Hard to decided!

I promised you I would have a Christmas project today!
I made this over the weekend using a new suite in the Holiday Mini called Santa's Workshop on pages 18 & 19.

The cute Mrs Claus was cut of of the Santa's Workshop DSP with the Santa's Signpost Framelits.
I love that SU has been doing that with many of our suites.
I got this idea from Angie Juda. She did this with Halloween stamps & DSP's.
I loved the pocket that she created and since Ryan is always asking for Gift Card Holders around the holidays...this will go in his pile.

I also used the *now retired* Stitched Seasons Framelits! These were part of the Blended Seasons Bundle that was only available for the month of August.
They are beautiful and come in 3 different sizes. This uses the large and medium ones.

Project Details:

Stamps: Signs of Santa
Ink: Poppy Parade, Garden Green
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Garden Green, Whisper White, Santa's Workshop DSP
Accessories: Santa's Signpost Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Stitched Season's Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Poppy Parade Ribbon, Garden Green Thick Twine, Hole Punch, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Behind the Mrs Claus panel there is a pocket to slip in money or a Gift Card.
This will work so well for Christmas and even fits in a regular envelope!
I see more of these being made in the future!
This suite is very fun and perfectly festive!
