Wedding Day Card

Good Morning & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Hope your weekend is off to a great start! Our weather today is to get into the low 80's! Looking forward to a bit of warm weather for a change! Shawn is headed out fishing with his friend today. Seems like he has been waiting forever for a nice warm Saturday to go! I am gonna do a bit of dusting then possibly head down to do some crafting. I noticed yesterday that my tulips in the front flower bed opened. Beautiful red tulips! So pretty!

Last weekend I spent some time at my stamp table and I was going thru a box of images/diecuts that people had sent me over the years. I found a pretty flower diecut and a few Top Note diecuts and some stamped off images. I thought that they would make a pretty card. So, here is what I whipped up...

Card Details:

Stamps: Occasional Quotes (retired)
Ink: Baja Breeze (retired)
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Whisper White (retired), Parisian Breeze DSP (retired)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Top Note Die (retired), Unknown Flower Diecut, Rhinestones, Sheer White/Silver Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It turned out really nice all thanks to my image/diecut box!
Only thing I had to cut was the card base and the bottom layer of DSP.
Everything else was already done.
Another card for on the card rack, WooHoo!

Ben's Wedding Card

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have another card to share that was part of Audrey's card order that was delivered to her last week. This one is for her youngest grandson who is getting married in May. If you remember I made the bridal shower card almost like the shower invite. Here is the link if you want to see. Bridal Shower Card

She sent me the wedding invite and it was the same as the bridal shower so this is the wedding card I made for it...

I used the same stamp sets with a bit of a different layout. I did not take a picture of the wedding invite this time but we laid the wedding card on top of the wedding invite and it all fell together so nicely! Audrey just loved it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Occasional Quotes (retired), Forever Fern (retired), First Frost (retired), Watercolor Garden (retired)
Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Basic Gray
Cardstock: Basic White, Highland Heather, Silver Foil Paper
Accessories: Frosted Bouquet Framelits, White & Silver Sheer Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots,  Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This is her last grandchild to get married but I have made bridal shower & wedding cards for each of her 5 grandchildren in the last 10 years and I feel like I know most of her family anymore. She is so beautifully blessed to have the family dynamics that she has!

Well, yesterday I managed to get my house cleaned. It took all the umph I could muster up to get it done. Today I said I was going to do the downstairs. Granted, it's not that bad down there since it hardly gets used. This will be on my agenda this afternoon. I have been struggling a little bit with low energy since started the 5mg of Mounjaro. Thankfully that is my only side effect at this time as I know it could be worse. My blood glucose & blood pressure have been really good so the medicine is doing it's job. If you've seen the news (which I do not waste my time on anymore) there is a huge shortage for this injectable medicine. I'm fortunate that my insurance now wants a 90 day supply filled so I am good until the end of June. Hopefully these shortages end by that time!
So, with that said....I am off to get my day started and get the downstairs cleaned! LOL Oh, and Ryan requested Taco Tuesday's for supper! Quick & easy!

Thankfully we don't do Taco Tuesday's every week! LOL

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Audrey's Granddaughter's Wedding TODAY!

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

I hope your weekend is off to a good start!
I started yesterday taking down my Christmas decorations.
The kitchen is done and maybe today I will work on my living room.
Shawn will have to help with putting away the ceramic trees so that is why I said maybe today. He has his first physical therapy appointment early this morning so we'll see how much energy he has left! LOL

The card I am sharing today is a real beauty!
I was summoned by Audrey to create a wedding card for her granddaughter, Sara, whom is getting married today! I will share with you the wedding invitation first. I used a post it note over the information on it as I don't want to share that.

Then I created the card and laid it on top of the invitation...

I showed this to Shawn and he said how it matched the invitation!
Then I laid it out for Audrey to see....she was ecstatic!

And here is the card without the invitation...

Everything on this card is retired!!!

Card Details:

Stamps: First Frost (retired), Forever Fern (retired), Occasional Quotes (retired)
Ink: Baroque Burgundy (retired), Mossy Meadow, Sahara Sand (retired), Versamark
Cardstock: Baroque Burgundy (retired), Basic White, Copper Foil Paper
Accessories: Forever Flourishing Dies (retired), Frosted Bouquet Framelits (retired), Copper Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Burgundy Ribbon (retired), Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was so pleased with it and so was Audrey!
I will be anxious to hear from her this week to see how the wedding was.
I'm glad we are in for a nice but chilly day!

Nathan's Wedding Card

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

I am off to a dentist appointment first thing this morning, just for a cleaning.
After today I won't be going back until i'm ready for my next cleaning in 6 months. I have almost all of my dental work completed. I have one crown left to be replaced and decided I will wait until sometime next year to do it. Kelsey & Shady will be moving out next week and we have a few things around the house that need to be taken care of before winter arrives. It's always something when you own a home, isn't it?

Today I have a pretty card to share with you!
Audrey called with her next card order and she requested one for her grandson who is getting married Labor Day weekend. She gave me the wedding invite and I looked high & low for DSP that looked like it but came up empty handed. So, this is what I made for her.

Card Details:

Stamps: Suite Sayings (retired)
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Thick Very Vanilla, Very Vanilla, Petal Promenade DSP (retired)
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, Everyday Label Punch (retired), Crochet Trim Chantilly Lace (retired), Very Vanilla Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I talked to her about this card and she said she will love whatever I make for her.
I'm alittle unsure of the lace trim on this though. I wanted to add some because after all it's a wedding card. I tied it into a bow at first but it bulked up the card too much so I just added it laying under the sentiment. I think every wedding card has to have lace on it!

My thoughts today...

My thoughts are with my sweet card lady, Audrey, as her cancer has returned.
She starts treatment today and i'm praying all goes smoothly for her.
If you recall, last summer she was doing treatment and suddenly went into shock and decided to stopped all treatments. She said at 92 she lived a long, happy life and has been blessed by the good Lord in so many ways. She recently found out her cancer has returned and told her Oncologist that she has to be around for so many life events coming up in next year and agreed to start treatment! She has 3 grandchildren getting married in the next several months and a granddaughter who is expecting her 2nd great grandchild to be born in November! So, yes, she has alot of life events coming up and I know if I was in her shoes i'd wanna be here to experience them with my family! I'm wishing her all the luck in the world and pray for her that she gets thru this.
I'll update you if I hear anything but please keep her in your thoughts & prayers!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

For the New Two

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Today I am sharing a wedding card that I made a few weeks ago when Audrey requested one. I made this card at the same time while I had my wedding stamps out.

Card Details:

Stamps: For the New Two (retired)
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Thick Very Vanilla, Very Vanilla, Mossy Meadow, Petal Promenade DSP (retired)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Gold/Vanilla Satin Ribbon, Festive Pearls, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

That DSP is just perfect alone for a wedding card.
The colors and the flowers are soft and beautiful.

Promenade Something Fancy Card

Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

I hope your weekend is off to a good start!
We have rain this morning so not sure what will be happening at the Aungst Pad today. We got the porches power washed yesterday then cleaned the windows, inside & out. It got up to 87 degrees here yesterday and by the time we were finished I ended up turning the ac on until this morning. I am so glad though that job is done. Next up is mulching the flower bed out front and getting the porch painted. I'm hoping it's done by Memorial Day weekend.

Anyways, today I have a pretty wedding card to share that was made for Audrey. She requested a wedding card for a family friend and did not want anything specific. I pulled out some retired Petal Promenade DSP from a few years back and got to work.

I used a bundle that came out in the 2023 January-April Mini Catalog called Something Fancy. It carried over into the new Annual Catalog which I was happy about. The set comes with some beautiful dies which I used on this card. The saying is a stamp from the same stamp set which I thought worked beautifully especially with that DSP.

Card Details:

Stamps: Something Fancy
Ink: Petal Pink
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Very Vanilla, Petal Promenade DSP (retired)
Accessories: Something Fancy Dies, Vanilla/Gold Ribbon, Festive Pearls, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was so pleased with how it turned out and Audrey loved it!
While I had this paper out and all my wedding stamps I made a 2nd card for on my card rack. I will share that one soon. My card rack only had one card in my wedding section.

Bridal Shower & Wedding Cards

Good Morning & Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a nice weekend!
It was very hot & humid here which was a bit too much, too soon!
My AC ran since Friday afternoon until this morning. We had thunderstorms off & on since Friday and last night it finally brought us a cold front.

Today I am sharing a few pictures of a bridal shower card & the wedding card that was requested from my card lady for a family relative that was getting married in April. The bridal shower was back in February.

Your going to notice a cheese grater in these shower pictures.
My card lady requested a tag that matched the shower card to attach to the cheese grater. It was a little joke that she shares with the soon to be bride.

A friend helped me out with the champagne glasses diecuts since I did not have anything like that.

Bridal Shower Card:

Stamps: Forever Fern, Art Gallery (sentiment)
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Mossy Meadow, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper
Accessories: Double Oval Punch, Unknown Champagne Glasses Diecuts, Glue Dots, Gold Cord, Mossy Meadow Satin Ribbon (retired), Gold Rhinestones, Gold Eyelet, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Here is the wedding card...

Wedding Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Fern, Love & Happiness
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Mossy Meadow, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper
Accessories: Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder, Gold Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My card lady was so happy with both of these cards because they matched the invitations!
I did not save that picture that was on my phone or I would have shared it with you.

Wedding Card

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

This morning it's a dreary, rainy start to the day!
I hope to get back to my stamp table this afternoon.
I made 2 packs of Thanksgiving cards yesterday for my card lady and I hope today to get back to some treats. Her family always does big holiday dinners and she likes to have those little treats to put at each persons table setting.
No football for our team today as they play Monday Night Football this week so this will give me sometime to go get inky!

Today I have a wedding card to share with you!
I don't make this kind of card very often but my card lady has a friend who's grandson is getting married on Oct 30th and asked for a card for it.
I pulled out lots of products that are long retired but perfect for a wedding card.

I started with a cardbase of Shimmery White cardstock that I have had for years.
I remember Stampin Up! bringing it back several years ago because I have a newer pack of it, unopened. I was thinking that at one point they have coordinating envelopes that were the same and I looked thru my stash of envelopes and did not find any so i'm not so sure on that.

Anyways, I love the shimmer this cardstock has to it and it adds just alittle bit of sparkle to the card. Next I used a layer of retired Grapefruit Grove cardstock that I diecut with the Basic Borders Die. They are in the current Stampin Up Annual Catalog.
Next I pulled out a piece of the retired Petal Promenade DSP from a few years ago and also diecut this with the same die to give it a fancy scalloped edge.
This package of DSP is so pretty & very elegant....wedding worthy!
The sentiment is from the retired Beautiful Bouquet stamp set that was stamped with Grapefruit Grove ink onto the Shimmery White cardstock.
I pulled out the Hippo & Friends Dies to diecut the 2 layered sentiment panels.
Lastly, I added some Grapefruit Grove Grosgrain Ribbon that I tied a big loopy bow with and added a few rhinestones.
Quick & easy! I love that the paper does all the work!

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautiful Bouquet (retired)
Ink: Grapefruit Grove (retired)
Cardstock: Shimmery White (retired), Grapefruit Grove (retired), Petal Promenade DSP (retired)
Accessories: Basic Borders Dies, Hippo & Friends Dies, Grapefruit Grove Grosgrain Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This is such a pretty Fall picture!
Our leaves have not changed here in South Central PA yet but you can see some glimpse's of them starting. It won't be long!

Wedding Card

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Hope your all having a nice weekend!
Our plan was to take the bikes out for a quick spin this morning but it's really dreary out and quite breezy. We ended up scratching that idea. We are in for some storms which could get severe later so I think we will just stay put and enjoy our morning coffee.

I have a card to share with you that I made for my customers last order.
I had a picture of the original wedding invite but deleted it once I had made the card to match.
It was a postcard style card but my customer asked for a full card so she could write inside.
It was also done with a wood paper and since we have the Wood Texture DSP, I ran with it!

I used the retired Stitched Season's Framelits which are still on the Clearance Rack at Stampin Up!
Love those dies and I was thrilled to be able to use them once again!

Card Details:

Stamps: For the New Two (retired)
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Thick Whisper White, Wood Textures DSP
Acccessories: Stitched Season's Framelits (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was really happy with the outcome of this card because it really did look so much like the original wedding invite. My customer was even happier with it!

Wedding Day

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope you week is going smoothly!
Today I am sharing a quick wedding card I made for on my card rack.
Again, I am using this beautiful Sweet Soiree Specialty Paper from the Occasions Mini Catalog that just has the right images on it and lots of Silver Foil Paper.

I did some heat embossing with Silver Embossing Powder to go with the silver in the paper.
I also added some Silver Metallic Enamel Dots to the sentiment.

Card Projects:

Stamps: Beautiful Bouquet
Ink: Versamark
Cardstock: Powder Pink, Whisper White, Silver Foil Paper, Sweet Soiree Specialty Paper
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Silver Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Silver Metallic Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I think as fast as I make these for my card rack my one customer buys them up!
Especially the wedding cards!

My thoughts today....

A cloudy, rainy day is in the forecast for today.
We are in for a heatwave starting Friday straight thru the July 4th holiday.
Blah, blah, blah!
I am not a fan of the heat & humidity at all!
I will be hibernating! How will you stay cool??

Thanks for stopping by & enjoy your day!

Beautiful Bouquet

Good Morning, Everyone!
Happy Thursday!

A rainy morning here to start but it's to clear off this afternoon and I am hoping Shawn isn't too late getting home tonight so we can take the bikes out for a quick ride before dark.

Today I have a card to show that I made last week for the Tuesday Morning Sketches and I totally forgot to share it!

This was last week's sketch.

I have been working on creating some wedding cards in my spare time for my card rack and I used the Tuesday Morning Sketch for it. Still cannot believe I forgot to share it. Better late than never!

I left my DSP do all the work on this card as it was an easy sketch.

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautiful Bouquet
Ink: Berry Burst
Cardstock: Berry Burst, Whisper White, Sweet Soiree Specialty Paper
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Berry Burst/Silver Satin Ribbon, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Beautiful Bouquet is a lovely stamp set filled with lots of great sentiments and pretty flowers.
Sadly, my DSP has retired but I will continue using it because it's so pretty!
It's filled with lots of Silver Foil throughout it so of course, it makes really great cards!

Wedding Card w/ Beautiful Bouquet

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today I have a super quick card to show!
I noticed my card rack is looking a bit depleted so I thought I needed to get some cards made for it.
Wedding cards go so quickly and my card slot was empty.
The Sweet Soiree Specialty Paper was perfect for this!

So sorry about there glare on the cards. It's from the lights in my lightbox reflecting off the Silver Foil Paper. I loved the DSP with the wedding cakes all over it and the touches of foil in it!
I had to emboss my sentiment in Silver to match. My sentiment is from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautiful Bouquet
Ink: Versamark
Cardstock: Powder Pink, Silver Foil Paper, Whisper White, Sweet Soiree DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Silver Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Powder Pink Ribbon, Silver Metallic Enamel Heart, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Liquid Glue

Super happy with this and how everything coordinates!
Sadly, this paper will retire tomorrow! Accck!
I have a whole pack that I will continue to use because it's just so pretty!
