Good Monday Morning, Friends!
Hope you had a nice weekend!
It was quite cold here, even had a dose of sleet/freezing rain last evening! Today we are suppose to get into the low 50's and it will surely feel like springtime!
Today I am sharing a set of cards that I made Audrey for her Valentine's Day set.
She requested a half moon & a heart on the front with the saying " Love you to the moon & back". I thought for sure I had a saying with that on but no where in my collection of stamps could I find one. I eventually asked a friend if she had any and she had a die that she sent me to complete the cards. I was SO thankful for her help!! And this was the finished product...
Card Details:
Stamps: Forever Lovely (sentiment-retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Basic White, Basic Black, Bee Mine DSP
Accessories: 2" Circle Punch, Give it a Whirl Dies (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Unknown Branded Die, Adhesive Sheets, Blending Brushes, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
When I first got started on this set I was a little bit stressed but once I received the die in the mail for the sentiment it all came together nicely and I had the best time making them!
This was all she ordered for Valentine's Day this year along with 2 cards for the great granddaughters. I'm assuming that this set is going to her family as she did not say but she loved them!
Today I am headed back to my stamp table to work on some card kits for a get together with the girls. I keep wanting to get a day scheduled but then they keep calling for bad weather and I know the girls will not travel in icy, snowy roads. One day winter will be over, right?
I'm still dealing with my head cold which seems to be good one day and then the next feel yukky. Ryan now is suffering with this cold as he slept most of the day yesterday. Dayquil/Nyquil always hits him pretty hard. Let's hope today is a better day for him!
